Spring achievements at CATS Academy Boston. Greetings from Braintree! We are now officially enjoying Spring in New England. Spring began with a display of art, fashion, and music put on by our students in an art gallery located not far from our front door. Our advanced piano students gave a recital that could be enjoyed as visitors moved through two floors of student exhibitions that included paintings, drawings, clothing designs, and collages. This exhibit was open to the community and was warmly received. Announcements REMINDER! Last week of classes for seniors: May 22 - May 26 Graduation! As our student population continues its steady growth, we are experiencing a great interest in the Academy. It is our intent this year to start the re-enrollment process a little earlier than we have in prior years to ensure that currently enrolled students have every opportunity to re-enroll before we commit to admit new students. Our Re-enrollment contracts are still open to families and agents. We are excited to hear back from you during that time. If you have additional questions or concerns regarding re-enrollment, please contact the Student Services office at: studentservices@catsacademyboston.com4 Thank you. The CATS Academy team From the desk of your CATS Congress President, Mohammed Erfan: With Spring comes the beginning of the baseball season, America s favorite sport, and our students visited historic Fenway Park to watch the Boston Red Sox play. They purchased numerous baseball caps and foam fingers and ate many hot dogs. The home team won the game and a good time was had by all. And our students traveled to the Lowell Factory Museum to learn about the life of American workers during the early days of the Industrial Revolution. Fine Arts, fun, and field trips have all been part of our Spring experience as we look forward to the last few weeks of our 2016-2017 school year. Exchange Program On behalf of the CATS London and CATS Cambridge students who visited last week, and their chaperone, Mr. Rishi Nathwani of CATS College London, I pass along their warm thanks for a memorable trip. The visitors learned a great deal about our city and our school. Looking ahead, I hope everyone from CATS Academy Boston will also take the chance to visit CATS London, CATS Cambridge, and CATS Canterbury in the future. These trips teach more than just academic material. The visitors had a very positive reaction to the CATS Boston facilities, personnel, and academic program. They would also like to thank the staff who spent time with them outside class, especially Mr. Dan Doherty, Mr. Alex Walecka, Mr. Jason Yang, and Mr. Nick Lashway. In addition, many teachers welcomed the visiting students to classes last week On April 23, students participated in a charity run to raise awareness for childhood cancers.
