Requires DVM (VMD), BVMS, BVSc degree Pathology specialist: Self-proclaimed, special interest, attends courses Board-eligible: (for American College of Veterinary Pathologists {ACVP}): Requires at least 3 years full-time training mentored by a board-certified veterinary pathologist Board-certified (Diplomate, ACVP): Same as above plus passes special examination ACVP has two groups; 1. Anatomic Pathology 2. Clinical Pathology 1
