3 Welcome to the STERIS Animal Health Europe Device Sales Catalogue This year has been an exciting time for us at STERIS Animal Health HQ, with just over a year of trading in the veterinary market (since our launch last year) we have been working with our US family to bring the much anticipated launch of the Endo-i range of fully portable, WiFi enabled endoscopes to market in Europe. Our team all consist of animal lovers and owners alike and we therefore understand just how vital veterinary care is to owners and the wider community. Speaking of community, we are committed to supporting key initiatives in the animal charity and educational sectors as we firmly believe our passion and commitment extends beyond our capabilities, consistently driving our preference for supplying the very best in device quality. Over the next five years we will continue to work with our biomedical engineers both here in the UK and our US family to design and launch products and devices that vets need. Kat Holt Head of Corporate Development Understanding some of the challenges facing the veterinary market today has helped us to really focus the research and development needs of our endoscopes in line with veterinary needs and to develop diagnostic devices that meet all the challenges faced when vets are out in the field or in ambulatory scenarios. This year we have launched a range of three WiFi enabled endoscopes with HD resolution, they are fully portable and the footage can be photographed or video captured to then be ed or stored in the cloud through the use of the innovative app. Over the next five years we will continue to listen, respond and develop diagnostic devices that vets really need. Whilst we are relatively new to the animal health market in the UK and Europe, we have been providing surgical instruments and medical devices to veterinary surgeons in North America for over 20 years (initially as Spectrum Surgical and from November 2015 as STERIS Animal Health). Our commitment to veterinary care lies in the manufacture of the finest medical grade instruments, devices and complementary consumables. We adhere to the highest manufacturing standards because we know how important the animal in your care is and that if they require surgical intervention they deserve the very best. Our standards align to ISO 13485, we use this standard in our successful healthcare business. This reinforces our commitment to manufacturing standards for our Customers and team from forging to finishing and prototype to manufacture we combine these exceptionally high expectations with our comprehensive STERIS 10 point quality check. We are continually expanding our product range and this year is no exception, we have introduced a focus on equine, extended our range of companion instruments and are very excited to launch our Endo-i range of endoscopes for equine and companion animals. Our devices are aligned to FDA manufacturing processes and feature the CE quality mark providing assurances about our equipments performance across a European marketplace. Over the coming months we will continue to develop and add to our existing ranges using our capabilities and experience in surgical instrument and device manufacture. 7 We are a team of animal lovers We ve combined this passion with our commercial acumen to develop STERIS Animal Health and this is our story and the roles we hold in our business told by our team As a teenager I competed in professional show jumping whilst my mum worked at the local riding school, so I have grown up with horses in my homeland of Sweden. I adore all animals but my love is horses, so imagine my excitement when I took up the role of Technical Product Manager following the end of my graduate placement and became involved in developing new product ranges to feed my equine infatuation. I also have a bachelors degree in Innovation Engineering (BEng) and an MSc in Engineering and Business and recently achieved my Six Sigma Black Belt. Working over its own secure wireless network, the Endo-i captures and records its live video feed on one or multiple smart devices. Portability Gone are the days of trying to load and lift all your tower stacks into the back of your car or trying to juggle your clinic times so that you can practice from the only consultation room with the tower stack endoscope. The Endo-i is fully portable and there is no loss of image quality, the Endo-i also provides you with HD resolution. Long procedures, worrying about battery life? Each Endo-i scope comes complete with two sets of rechargeable batteries providing a steady four hours of battery life per pair (when fully charged). We ve also provided a charger in your Endo-i hard case, giving you eight hours of consistent use if you need it. In the field no telecommunications for miles? Endo-i was made with this challenge in mind Our R&D team spent time with vets in practice as part of the Endo-i development, this was to understand the practical challenges vets face and how our solution really can make a difference.
