Transmission fluid bottle. Also saw 2 bags--sacks unidentified in water that were peculiar. Comments Metal, nets, and rope numerous. Metal cans, plastics, styrofoam, visqueen all common. Glass, other metal uncommon. Fishing gear and vehicle/boat parts rare. Glass, aluminum cans, plastic containers, styrofoam, visqueen, other plastics, metal, and fishing gear all common. Aluminum, buoys, glass, glass bottles, visqueen all rare. Styrofoam and plastics common. Fishing gear abundant. Lot more trash than I epected in low use people areas. People areas were pretty clean. Saw fish part, fish heads, bait near fishing areas. Not good.

11 Additional Observations and Comments 25-Apr Apr to 6 3-Apr-9 3-May-92 2-Sep-96 2-Sep- Herring being unloaded at dock. Fishermen preparing for halibut fishing. Fish gurry emptying in to harbor. Oil slick near docks. Trailer leaking waste water. Manmade beach with beach grass, dandelions, a few other species have started growing. Homer harbor -very heavy use. (Detailed notes on weather, plants, animals, and minerals--see datasheets) Overall good-- Not bad. Not certain many people sections real at all. Lots of bad, eg activity: "Fishing Hole" (also detailed comments-- see datasheets) fishing, charters, leisure on water.
