2 Classes are filled on a first-come, first-served basis. A spot will not be held until payment is received along with signed Training Agreement. These items must be received prior to commencement of first class. Please bring current vaccination records to the first class. SERVICES PROVIDED: Classes are taught by Cati Foss ( Trainer ), a professional dog trainer. Classes are limited to no more than 10 dogs so that personal attention may be given to each dog-handler team. All owners are responsible for providing treats for their dog during classes, while Cati does occasionally use her own treats with the dogs, if you fail to bring treats, Cati can provide treats at a rate of $5 per session. Trainer, at his/her discretion, may refuse entry to any dog which is not healthy, is human aggressive and does not have a basket muzzle, or does not seem suitable for the services provided. Any class missed is forfeited. PAYMENT: Payment is due prior to the start of training. No refunds will be given after class has commenced. Accepted forms of payment are cash, money order, debit/credit (Astoria/Manzanita/Nehalem locations only,) or paypal. Checks will be accepted with the caveat that a bounced check will result in a returned check fee of $40 to be paid additionally and immediately upon notification. REMOVAL FROM TRAINING: Trainer, at his/her sole discretion, may remove a dog from class if a hazard or threat of any nature to any other animal or person is presented immediately surrounding class time or during class. No refund will be given under such circumstances. CLEANLINESS: Owner is responsible for the removal of excrement that their pet is responsible for. Owner is responsible for providing pick-up bags as none will be provided. LIABILITY: Owner agrees to indemnify and hold Cati Foss, Trainer and Trainer s employees/agents harmless from all liability for any loss, damage or injury to persons, animals or property arising from or related to Owner s pet. Owner agrees that Trainer shall not be liable for loss or damage to animal for any reason unless said loss or damage was a direct result of Trainer s negligence. At no point in time are any dogs recommended by the trainer to interact with one another within a range of less than 3 feet (the exception is for the Puppy Socialization & Handling Class as long as all dogs are interacting well and CGCA and CGCU classes for specific test items,) and no such interactions are advised to be prolonged. Owner is responsible for keeping an eye on their surroundings to avoid human and/or animal injury and will not hold Cati or property owners (if applicable,) liable for any such instances of injury. 3 Arnicadia Dog Training - Class Catalog Level 1 Tracking $150 4 Weeks Location Available Astoria: Patterson Ln In this 4 week course we cover how to lay a scent pad, how to lay a track, and introduce scent articles to the track. There will be plenty of visual guidance with flags and lots of treat encouragement to build a love of this nose sport easily. No obedience skills are necessary for this class. Level 2 Tracking $150 4 Weeks Location Available Astoria: Patterson Ln In this course we continue on the foundation started in the Intro and build a proper indication for scent articles along the track with much less visual guidance and less treat encouragement. The ability to sit or down or even point on command in necessary for this class. Novice Rally $150 4 Weeks Location Available Long Beach: Sandridge Road Birkenfeld: Northrop Creek Road This class is centered on the competitive world of AKC Rally where we build a stronger heel on leash as well as learn some fun positioning and finishes as well as incorporating their basic obedience commands (sit, down, stand, stay.) This is a class based on following signs. Intermediate Rally $150 4 Weeks Location Available Long Beach: Sandridge Road Birkenfeld: Northrop Creek Road Do you wonder if your dog can distinguish a specific smell in any location? We will work on the fundamentals of using scent oils in training and fun games to encourage your dog s love of sniffing! 3

4 AKC Canine Good Citizen $150 w/ test $140 w/o test 4 Weeks and 1 test In this AKC class, we build your dog s confidence in the 10 fundamental test items offered during the test. Treats are allowed during class but not for the test itself. No training collars/harnesses or training aids (calming aids, medication, e-collars, etc.) allowed during the class. AKC Community CGC $150 w/ test $140 w/o test 4 Weeks and 1 test In this AKC class, we build your dog s confidence in the 10 fundamental test items offered during the test. Treats are allowed during class but not for the test itself. No training collars/harnesses or training aids (calming aids, medication, e-collars, etc.) allowed during the class. AKC Urban CGC $150 w/ test $140 w/o test 4 Weeks and 1 test Location Available Manzanita: Manzanita City Park Astoria: Columbia Maritime Museum In this AKC class, we build your dog s confidence in the 10 fundamental test items offered during the test. Treats are allowed during class but not for the test itself. No training collars/harnesses or training aids (calming aids, medication, e-collars, etc.) allowed during the class.
