2 Lori Drouin s BIO Lori has put UDs on 7 dogs, had 2 more CDXs and 2CDs, 2 OTCHs and UDX3, an RE and an RA. She dabbles at agility and enjoys the cross training to build teamwork and practice communication skills. She has enjoyed working with a variety of breeds. She is an AKC Novice obedience judge and was a columnist for Front and Finish magazine. For more information, please visit Lori Drouin s homepage at Seminar Format This is an advanced seminar covering the following topics: Games that assure motivator control to allow for rewarding attention and behaviors done at distance Warm-up games to practice distraction resistance as a skill The principles of proofing and management in training to build confidence Application of proofing principles for each exercise Recognizing errors that are actually efforts to change for the better Heeling refinement exercises Front and finish refinements The power of skill randomization to assure understanding, and build and appreciate a cooperative working dynamic that goes beyond the tricks for treats state of mind. 3 Driving Directions to Nashville Dog Training Club From I-440 Take Nolensville Rd exit headed south. Go 2 miles. Turn right onto Allied Drive (at Whitt's Barbeque). Immediately turn left into the first row of warehouses. From I-65 Take the Harding Place exit headed east. Turn left at the traffic light onto Trousdale (gas station on your left). Go through the light and over the railroad tracks. At the stop sign, turn right onto Allied Drive. Go to the last row of warehouses on the right before you get to Nolensville Rd. From I-24 Take Briley Parkway West exit (Thompson Lane) Turn left at Nolensville Road. Turn right onto Allied Drive (at Whitt's Barbeque). Immediately turn left into the first row of warehouses.
