1 TDAA Agility Trial February 7,8, and 9, 2014 at Canine Sports Academy Santa Fe Avenue Norman, OK CLASSES OFFERED: Friday (S-T): Standard (1 round: B-I-S) Saturday (T-S): Game, Standard (2 rounds: B-I-S, then S-I-B), Game Sunday (S-T): Game, Standard (2 rounds: B-I-S, then S-I-B), Game **If time allows we will offer add-ons on Friday and Saturday at $8 per run.** JUDGE: Lyn Johnson This trial is indoors, climate-controlled, and has a 3/8 inch custom matted floor. IMPORTANT! ENTRIES ARE LIMITED TO 50 DOGS. DAY OF TRIAL ENTRIES WILL BE ACCEPTED AT $15 PER RUN, $12.50 PER RUN WITH ADVANCE NOTICE. THE SECRETARY MUST BE NOTIFIED OF YOUR ENTRY BY NO LATER THAN BY FEB 3, 2014 TO RECEIVE THE DISCOUNTED RATE. Certification Permission has been granted by the Teacup Dogs Agility Association for the holding of this event under Teacup Dogs Agility Association Rules and Regulations. Teacup Dogs Agility Association Rules can be obtained online at AGILITY TRIAL COMMITTEE: Trial Chairperson: Sara Brown, aras747@yahoo.com Trial Secretary: Jeanette Bider, PO Box 565, Norman OK , cjbider@gmail.com EQUIPMENT: The following is a list of obstacles to be used at this trial: A-Frame (6 8 ramp with slats), Dogwalk (8 without slats and rubber surface), Teeter (8 board without slats), 16 diameter Closed (Tunnel barrel style with 8 chute), 16 diameter Tunnels,Table (34 X 34 ), Tire Jump, Weave Poles (24 ), Single and Winged Jumps. WARM-UPS: A warm up area, consisting of a regulation agility jump, shall be provided for all exhibitors.

2 SCHEDULE: Friday building will be open from 4PM for set up, Judge s briefing 5PM, first dog on the line at 5:30PM. Saturday building opens at 7:30AM, first dog on the line at 8:30AM. Sunday building opens at 7:30AM, first dog on the line at 8:30AM. GAMES DESCRIPTIONS: Sat AM Tag 10: Teams must accumulate as many sets of 10 points, performing the tag obstacle between each set, in the time allowed. Sat PM Tunnel Snooker: This is a two part game. In the opening sequence the team must perform a red tunnel then a numbered obstacle. All tunnels must be performed but only once each, then the team moves on to the numbered course for the second part. Sun AM Dot to Dot: This is a point accumulation game. The object is to collect points from dot to dot; dots being the contacts. Sun PM Jumper CDS: This is a numbered jumpers course in which bonus points will be earned if the dog successfully performs the distance challenges. Further games information will be available at the trial MOVE-UPS: Move-ups prior to the trial may be submitted by to the trial secretary before Friday October 5th. Day of trial move-ups will be accepted in the morning before the first briefing and must be in writing. OBSTACLE FAMILIARIZATION: Obstacle familiarization will take place each day prior to the judges briefing. AWARDS: Ribbons will be awarded for 1st through 3rd in each jump height in each class. Light blue ribbons will be awarded to all dogs receiving a qualifying score. Dogs may receive placement ribbons without qualifying. FEO (For Exhibition Only) runs will be offered in Standard classes. Title rosettes will be awarded to all dogs receiving a TDAA, TAM and TMAG titles at this event. Full size TACh bars and large title rosettes also to be given for TACh. Awards will be given for High Scoring dogs in each height class, veteran dog and rescue dog. FOOD Food will be available on site both Saturday and Sunday lunches for $5 per day. You re welcome to bring your own food. Sonic, McDonalds and Libby s Cafe are all within 3 miles of the Academy. ENTRY ELIGIBILITY This trial is open to all dogs over the age of 12 months, measuring 17 inches or less, except bitches in season, aggressive dogs, or dogs suffering from any deformity, injury, or illness which may affect a dog s physical or mental performance. At this time we cannot accommodate dogs running at the 2 jump height. NOTICE TO EXHIBITORS The safety of the dogs is our primary concern. By entering this trial, exhibitors acknowledge that they are familiar with the rules and regulations of this sport, and that their dogs are familiar with and able to perform all obstacles safely. Entry fees will not be refunded in the event that a dog is absent, disqualified, excused, or barred from competition by action of the show committee. Withdrawals will be refunded if made at least one week prior to the event. It is expressly understood that exhibitors alone are responsible for the behavior of their dog(s) and / or children. Any exhibitor whose dog(s) and / or children create unnecessary disturbances or repeatedly engage in unsafe or disruptive

3 behavior may, at the discretion of the show committee, be asked to leave the show site. In that case, no refund of any fees paid will be made. Competitors and spectators are expected to keep the grounds clean. Please pick up after your dogs at the trial site and hotel. All dogs must be on leash at all times except when using the warm up area or in the agility ring. No entry fee will be refunded if the trial cannot open or be completed by reason of riots, civil disturbances, fire, an act of God, public emergency, act of a public enemy or any other cause beyond the control of the organizing committee. Exhibitors are responsible for complete, accurate and legible information on entry forms; illegible or incomplete entries cannot be entered in the show. Due to limited crating space ex-pens will NOT be allowed and crates must be stacked if possible. Food and toys are not permitted in the course area and handlers are not allowed to use whistles or their instruments or devices Exhibitors are responsible for being at the ring gate when it is their turn to run. Choke collars, pinch collars, electric and dummy electric collars are prohibited at the show. Unsportsmanlike conduct, including rough handling or misconduct of any kind, will result in excusal from the ring. ACCOMMODATIONS THAT ACCEPT WELL BEHAVED DOGS Please check with the motels about their dog policy as some have restrictions and some charge a few. Please be courteous and clean up after your dogs so we may use these motels again. 4 DIRECTIONS TO TRIAL SITE From the north: I-35 to Exit 106 Hwy 9 West at the Riverwind Casino. Go one mile toward Chickasha and turn left onto Santa Fe (also NW 24th St) then go 2.2 miles south. The Academy is on the Right. From the west on Hwy 9 turn right onto Santa Fe (also NW 24th St) and follow the above directions. From the south: Exit I-35 at Goldsby Exit 104 to W Interstate Drive to NW Main (Marcums Nursery & Libby's Cafe). Turn right onto Center and go straight to NW 24th. Turn right and the Academy will be on your left. This also a good choice when coming from the North as traffic is often backed up at the Casino.

6 VOLUNTEER SIGN UP Volunteers are the backbone of any agility trial. By its very nature TDAA is small. Small dogs, small equipment, small trials, small number of handlers. We need all hands to make a small trial work. Please sign up to volunteer to work during classes you are not running in. We will make sure you get adequate time to warm up your dog and do your walkthrough. We want everyone to have a pleasant experience running TDAA and at the same time helping to make the trial run smoothly. I (We) hereby assume the sole responsibility for and agree to indemnify and save the aforementioned parties harmless from any and all loss and expenses (including legal fees) by reason of the liability imposed by law upon any of the aforementioned parties for damage because of bodily injuries, including death at any time arising out of or in consequence of my (our) participation in this Agility Trial, howsoever such injuries, death or damage to property may be caused, and whether or not the same may have been caused or may have been alleged to have been caused by negligence of the aforementioned parties or any of their employees or agents, or any other persons.
