38 Export Process VS Certification of Inspection of Export Animals The animals described on this form have been given a careful veterinary inspection at the port of embarkation and found to be free from evidence of communicable disease and exposure thereto, and otherwise to have met all other applicable provisions of 9 CFR 93, as amended. 38

39 Export Process VS Notice of Animals Not Shipped Reasons for Rejection: Unhealthy Unsound Improper ID Not Present at Port Other (late gestation, warts, lesions, etc) 39

40 Export Process Final Inspection APHIS, VS After inspection, animals are loaded on to clean, disinfected trailers All doors of the trailer are sealed using APHIS seals VMO completes a VS 1-27 or truck tag, documenting number/type of animals, license plates of truck/trailer, departure time Trucks/trailers are received at port of embarkation by APHIS, VS and all seals and documentation are verified before animals loaded onto vessel/plane 40
