This trolley-based version is a real anaesthetic workstation, perfectly combining ingenuity, sophistication and common sense. The large, stable trolley gives a good overview of all the equipment and provides ample room for both monitoring equipment as well as a ventilator. The low friction and viscous surface effect of the catheter being the most obvious ones, and these catheters, because of their many benefits, have been used in human medicine for a long time. The protocol for human application is to activate the coating by using drinkable tap water, e.g. from the bathroom tap or similar.
