Ducks/chukar/and/or pigeons will be used in the FDX water retrieve Gunning will be done by official gunners only FDJ, FD, FDA, FDX, FDXCh course will be single course with bird field FDJ and FD dogs will be run individually, FDA, FDX, FDXCh dogs will be run in braces Handlers must carry a starter pistol, and for safety reasons, we request FD, FDA, FDX, FDXCh entrants wear some blaze orange clothing and hat. OTHER RULES: No training of dogs on the grounds during the tests Bitches in Season: Bitches in season will be allowed to run only on Sunday 20th. We request that handlers please keep them away from all other dogs so that they do not become a hindrance to other dogs entered in the tests. Current record of vaccination may be required Qualifying scores available at the end of each test from the Test Secretary AWARDS: Standard CKC Blue Ribbon to all dogs with a qualifying score. HQS Certificate in each category

3 NOTE: FIELD DOG TEST RULES & REGULATIONS para It shall be the duty and obligation of the test-giving club to see that a judge, club official, volunteer or competitor at a Field Dog Test is not subject to indignities. The Field Test Committee Chairman shall promptly report to the CKC any infringement of this regulation, and the CKC shall have the authority to take such action as it deems fit on receipt of a report indicating that this has occurred. NOTE: NEW Para 11.3 It is mandatory that judges, handlers of the working dogs and marshals wear a blaze orange outer garment (vest or jacket) and blaze orange head gear in any tests where shotguns are used. The requirements will also apply to any gallery members on the course. EVENT REGISTRATION NUMBER (ERN#): Effective January 1, 1992 all dogs that are foreign born and foreign owned and enter Canada for the sole purpose of entering CKC events will no longer require a CKC Registration number, but will require an Event Registration Number (ERN#) The ERN# MUST be applied for within 30 days of the first day of entering a CKC EVENT. 4 AGREEMENT OF EACH ENTRANT In consideration of the acceptance of my/our entry(ies) and of the holding of the test and of the opportunity to have the dog tested and to win ribbons or trophies, I/we acknowledge and agree as follows: The German Shorthaired Pointer Club of Canada (GSPCC) may refuse any entry for just cause, which the GSPCC deems to be sufficient. Field tests have certain inherent dangers associated with them, including, without limitation, those due to the presence and/or use of firearms, and as such any person participating in the test or being present on the test grounds assumes the associated risks. To hold the Canadian Kennel Club (the CKC ), any CKC approved judge, the GSPCC, its members, directors, officers, agents, committee members, test secretary, official gunners at the test and the owners or lessor of the test grounds and any employees of any of them (collectively, the Club ), harmless from: Any claim for loss or injury which may be caused or alleged to be caused directly or indirectly to any person or thing by any act of any dog I have entered in the test, or am responsible for, while in or upon the test grounds, or near any entrance to the test grounds; Any claim for loss of any dog I have entered in the test, or am responsible for, by disappearance, theft, death or otherwise, and from any claim for damage or injury to the dog, whether the loss, disappearance, theft, damage or injury is caused or alleged to be caused by the negligence of the Club or any other person or any other cause or causes; For bodily injuries, including death at any time resulting from bodily injuries, sustained by any person or persons, including myself/ourselves, any minors for whom I/we is or are responsible or on account of damage to property arising out of or in consequence of my/our or their participation in the test or presence on the test grounds, however such injuries, death or damage to property may be caused and whether or not caused or alleged to be caused by negligence of the Club or any of them or any other person; and I/we personally assume all responsibility and liability for any such claim; and I/we further agree to assume the sole responsibility for and agree to indemnify and save the Club harmless from any and all losses and expenses (including legal fees) by reason of the liability imposed by law or a court of competent jurisdiction upon the Club or any of them for any of the foregoing. I/we agree to be bound by this Agreement of Each Entrant printed in the Official Premium List. I/we certify and represent that the dog entered is not a hazard to persons or other dogs.
