15 Measuring Criteria All Species Stunning Efficacy Number of times stunning is attempted Insurance Shots Vocalisation Only scored in Crowd pen, lead up and Knocking Box Only scored if caused by Mechanical or human act Bleed Rail Insensibility Any Sensibility on Bleed Rail is automatic failure Performing any operations on a sensible Animal is automatic failure Slipping Animal Loses footing Animal goes down on a knee, body does not touch ground Not scored if the result of other animals actions
16 Measuring Criteria All Species Falling Loses upright body position any part of body other than limb touch's ground Electric Goad If it touches the animal its scored multiple goads on a single animal is scored as one (1) Audit failure if goad touch's a sensitive area (Head, Anus, Testicles, Penis, Udder, Vulva)
17 Measuring Criteria All Species Acts of Deliberate Abuse Slamming gates on animals Throwing animals (Sheep/Pigs/Calves) Driving animals over a downer Dragging a sensible animal Lifting by Wool Hitting or Beating an Animal Example of but not Limited to, All result in audit failure
