Should the animal fall ill within 10 days of the adoption with an infectious disease (feline aids /leukemia /FIP/Pan

4 leukemia, snuffles ) please notify the kitten cottage IMMEDIATLEY. We will determine whether the animal can be returned to us and whether we will take it to OUR vets. if you do not want the animal to be diagnosed by one of our VETS and prefer to use your vet, all costs will be for your account. The applicant understands that the kitten cottage cannot be held responsible for any vet expenditure occurring after the animal has left the kitten cottage. 2. The applicant agrees they will care for, love and make part of their new family their new pet. They promise to make sure they are comfortable and fresh food and water is provided twice daily. 3. The applicant undertakes to keep the new Animal properly enclosed for 14 days or as long as it may require for their new companion to become accustomed with its new surroundings 4. The applicant agrees to give the animal 4 weeks to settle in when introducing it to other members /animals. 5. The applicant understands that the animal MAY NOT be locked up, closed out of the house under any circumstances and must be allowed full access to the house and yard. 6. The applicant undertakes to fully and yearly vaccinate the adopted animal.

5 7. The applicant undertakes to sterilize the adopted animal before it reaches 5 months and shall produce a written certificate from their vet or the kitten cottage vet. 8. A date for sterilization will be given, failure to sterilize the kitten, the owner will be responsible for the full costs and not the kitten cottage. 9. No cat or kitten may travel without a approved cat carrier, no boxes, picnic boxes, pillow case 9. The applicant agrees that the animal shall be micro chipped The applicant agrees that the adoption fees are non refundable as it is consider a donations toward the center. 10. If for any reason the applicant decides the he /she no longer wants the animal, the applicant must inform the kitten cottage in writing / . The applicant must help the kitten cottage to place the animal /s in a loving home. The Animals will not be placed in a new home without written permission from the kitten cottage.
