Official Arizona State Rabbit and Cavy Breeders Association Sanction Shows Points earned at the shows shall count towards the awards to be awarded at the close of the annual sweepstakes series. Exhibitors must be members of the State Association or join at the time of the show in order to have their points counted. Membership fees are: Single Adult $12; Husband & Wife $20; Youth $7; Single Parent Family $12 + $2/youth; and Family $20 + $2/youth AT THE SAME ADDRESS. Rabbit Open & Youth Show Information 1) Entry fee: $3.50 per rabbit. If you enter more than 10 animals in all 3 shows then the 11 th (22 nd, 33 rd, etc) will be free. Rabbit fur entries $2.00 each. 2) ALL rabbit entries must be postmarked or emailed by Monday June 18 th, 2018. Email entry fees MUST be paid prior to the start of the shows. PayPal is available to send rabbit fees in prior to check-in (PayPal: azrcba@gmail.com). If paying by PayPal please select the Friends & Family option. If you choose Goods & Service you will be charged the PayPal Fees prior to the start of the show. 3) Entry Fees are due at time of entry! ALL fees must reach the appropriate show secretary prior to the show. I WILL NOT reply to every email!! You will receive checkin sheets via email when I get your entry added to the show. PLEASE check ALL of your check-in sheets for mistakes. If there is a mistake on your entries let me know ASAP If you wait until the day of the show to correct a mistake you will either be charged for an ear tag change or for a day of show entry!! 4) Starting in 2018 - All exhibitors (open and youth) entering three or more rabbits will be charged a $4 equipment fee. These funds will go towards repairing and/or replacing our old equipment that is in much need of repair/replacement. For families showing, this fee is only charged once per family. 5) Open & Youth Entries must be made on separate forms or in separate emails. Please delineate OPEN or YOUTH in the subject bar. 6) Once entries are accepted, all entry fees are due and non-refundable regardless of whether or not you attend. 7) We prefer not to take day of show entries. However if you must, please be prepared to pay $5 per animal per show. NO new entries will be accepted once judging has begun. 8) This is a NO comment card show. Comment Cards will be available for your personal use. 9) Ribbons will be awarded to youth exhibitors for places 1 st 3 rd & BOB / BOSB in All Breed Shows. Open ribbons will be provided upon special request.
SHOW RULES 1) All shows will be governed by the latest show rules of the ARBA and filing of an entry denote acceptance of same. 2) Each entry must have a legible, permanent marking or cavy tag in left ear. 3) Sponsoring club reserves the right to substitute or add judges without prior notice. 4) Exhibitors will be responsible to get their animals to and from the judging tables. Any animal not on the judging table after the second call will be scratched, entry fees will not be refunded. 5) Any animal entered in a youth show is to be brought to the judging table by a youth. Show staff members will be happy to help find someone to assist in putting animals on the show tables for ANY exhibitor who requires assistance. 6) Youth may NOT enter the same rabbit or cavy in both open and youth classes at the same show. Youth MAY make entries in both open and youth classes with different animals. 7) Substitutions will be allowed ONLY in the same class, sex, variety, group, and breed per ARBA rules. These changes MUST be approved by the show secretary or superintendent! Any changes made at the show table must have a change form accompanying that change. Any changes not approved by the show secretary or superintended you will be charged appropriate fees. Fees must be paid before results/legs will be released. 8) NO ANIMALS (Other than rabbits and cavies) will be permitted in the show room with the exception of ADA Service Animals protected under the American Disabilities Act. Exhibitors with service animals are asked to inform the show secretary of their presence in order to ward off contrary actions by unknowing individuals. 9) This venue is a DRUG/ALCOHOL AND GUN FREE ZONE. These items will NOT be allowed in the buildings. Smoking outside is permitted 25 feet from any doorway. 10) Sponsoring club will not be responsible for injury, possible theft or demise of any animal. Cages must be secured at all times. 11) Parents or acting guardians will be responsible for conduct of their children. Inappropriate behavior, disrespect of animals, property or person will result in dismissal from this show and forfeitures of all entry fees. Appropriate show locations are hard to find, please keep in mind that we may not be asked back if we do not show good citizenship or good housekeeping skills. 12) No persons other that show officials, judges and clerks will be allowed behind the judging tables during judging. 13) This is a carrying cage show and all carriers for rabbits and cavies must have solid bottoms. The show committee requires that all carriers must be on plastic floor coverings. If you do not have one you may purchase one from the club for a small fee. 14) NO entries will be accepted from exhibitors with an outstanding balance with this club. 15) Any emergency or problems not covered by these rules will be referred to the show superintendents, their decision will be FINAL! 16) VENDORS BY INVITATION ONLY!! Or prior authorization from the show committee. Vendors will be selling rabbit and/or cavy related items. Unauthorized sellers will be asked to leave. This is in consideration to those who have paid a vendors fee and/or have otherwise committed in advance to be supportive of our shows.
