All vehicles or any oversized vehicle must park in the parking lot. A two-way traffic flow must be maintained at all times on the road. Any exhibitor failing to do so may be excused without benefit of refund if the Trial Committee deems the exhibitor to be in violation of this requirement. Cleaning supplies and disposal sites will be available at various locations around the match grounds. WHO IS ICCKC Based in Boise, Idaho, the Idaho Capital City Kennel Club, Inc. was incorporated in 1956 with seven members and now we have over 100 members. We offer information through our educational programs at monthly meetings and through our telephone advice and referral system. Our members are interested in purebred dogs registered with the American Kennel Club. Most of our members exhibit their dogs in conformation, obedience, rally, tracking, scent work or agility shows/trials.

ELIGIBILITY / ADDITIONAL RULES No dog which is a Champion of record may be entered except in Obedience, Rally, Parade of Champions, Adult/Junior Showmanship or Veterans. Professional handlers may only handle dogs they own or co-own. Conformation classes are open only to AKC recognized breeds with the exception of Obedience & Rally are open to all dogs. ICCKC committee members may exhibit their dogs in this match. Each dog must have a separate entry form which includes the AKC agreement. You may copy the enclosed AKC form as needed for each dog entered. The Idaho Capital City Kennel Club Inc. (ICCKC) will not be responsible for loss or injury to any dogs, persons or property. There will be absolutely no intensive or abusive training on the premises. Judging assignments will be subject to change without prior notice. This will be an outdoor match and will be held rain or shine. CONFORMATION CLASSES Conformation class order will be alphabetically by breed within groups as listed above. Judges assignments may be adjusted depending on total match entries. Miscellaneous classes will be provided but will not go to group judging. If you are entering a breed currently recognized in the AKC Miscellaneous class, you must provide a breed standard approved by the U. S. National breed club with your entry form. All Classes will be divided by sex and age. Puppy Classes: 4-6 months, 6-9 months and 9-12 months Open: 12 months and older MATCH SHOWMANSHIP Adult: Men and women will be judged together and must be 18 years old or older. Juniors: Dog must be owned by the handler or a member of his/her family. - Novice Junior: 9 11 years old & have not won three first places in that class at an AKC show - Novice Intermediate: 12 14 years old & have not won three first places in that class at an AKC show - Novice Senior: 15 18 years old & have not won three first places in that class at an AKC show - Open Junior: 9 11 years old & have won three or more first places at an AKC show - Open Intermediate: 12 14 years old & have won three first places at an AKC show - Open Senior: 15 18 years old & have won three first places at an AKC show PARADE OF CHAMPIONS Exhibition only for breed Champions or dogs holding AKC accepted titles. Parade of Champions will take place before the group judging. Please send in a brief biography for your dog with your entry or bring day of match to be read while in the ring. RIBBONS, AWARDS, AND PRIZES Ribbons will be awarded to each conformation and showmanship class for 1 st through 4 th places and for Best of Breed. Rosettes will be awarded for Best Adult dog in Match, Best Puppy in Match, 1 st through 4 th places in each Group, Best Junior handler, Best Adult handler and each dog entered in the Parade of Champions. Additionally prizes will be awarded for Best Adult Dog in Match, Best Puppy in Match and first place in each Group. No awards will be provided for the Plan C Obedience Classes. Scoring will be done only upon request. Rally will be judged & scored with ribbons awarded.
PLAN C OBEDIENCE Sanctioned AKC Obedience match will be held in rings three, four and five. All obedience rules will apply for this event. Rules: This match is an excellent opportunity to work/play your dog through the exercises and to tell the judge what you want to work on in the ring. - Dogs are not limited by title to which class they may enter - No scoring or evaluation unless requested by handler - Training aids such as treats or toys may be taken into the ring - Corrections are allowed but shall be limited to verbal corrections or gentle guiding of the dog - Exhibitors may enter a class more than once, but any 2 nd run-through shall be delayed until all first runthroughs are completed - Sits and downs will be performed in a ring separated from the individual exercises - No ribbons, placements or trophies shall be awarded - Additional run-throughs of same class will be $3.00 each (pre-entry) NOTICE TO EXHIBITORS SAFETY, BEHAVIOR and LIABILITY The safety of the dog is our primary concern. By entering this match, exhibitors acknowledge that they are familiar with the rules and regulations of this sport, and that their dogs are familiar with and able to perform all obstacles safely. It is expressly understood that exhibitors alone are responsible for the behavior of their dogs and/or children. Any exhibitor whose dogs and/or children create an unnecessary disturbance or repeatedly engage in unsafe or disruptive behavior may, at the discretion of the trial committee, be asked to leave the match site. In such case, no refund of any fees paid will be made. The Idaho Capital City Kennel Club and its agents, employees, etc., will assume no responsibilities for any loss, damage or injury sustained by exhibitors or handlers, or to any of their dogs or property and further assumes no responsibility for injury to children. The Idaho Capital City Kennel Club reserves the right to decline entries for cause and may remove any dog because of aggression. No one shall have any recourse or claim against the Idaho Capital City Kennel Club or any official thereof. All dogs must be on-leash at all times when on trial grounds except when in the designated warm-up area or competing on the course. IDAHO CAPITAL CITY KENNEL CLUB GENERAL MEETINGS The ICCKC meetings are once a month at 7pm on the 4 th Tuesday each month except for July and December (Christmas dinner/awards). Regular monthly meetings are at the Idaho Fish and Game Building at 600 Walnut Street, Boise, ID. Most of the meetings start with a dog related program before the general meeting starts. If the event class in which you are entering your dog is divided, then, in addition to designating the class, specify the particular division of the class in which you are entering your dog, i.e, age division, color division, weight division. 4. A dog must be entered in the name of the person who actually owned it at the time entries for an event closed. If a registered dog has been acquired by a new owner it must be entered in the name of its new owner in any event for which entries closed after the date of acquirement, regardless of whether the new owner has received the registration certificate indicating that the dog is recorded in his name.
