J SHOW LIMITS The Jockeys, trainers and horse owners have asked that no exhibitors or dogs be allowed by horse stables, race track or horse exercise areas. It frightens their animals. Please abide by their wishes. POST DATED AND RETURNED CHECKS do not constitute a valid entry fee. The Show Secretary will add a collection fee to the amount of each returned check. The returned check MUST BE MADE GOOD by cash or money order BEFORE the dog(s) will be allowed in the ring. Any person that issues a check that is returned for non-payment will be required to pay a fine of $25 per check and all items for which check or checks were issued shall then be paid by cash, money order or cashier s check. CONDITIONAL, UNSIGNED, INCOMPLETE, or entries received without fees will not be accepted. OWNERS ARE RESPONSIBLE for errors on entry blanks and for entering the same dog twice. No refunds for duplicate entries. Every effort to find all duplicate entries will be made; however, if entry has been processed, no refund will be made. An Administrative Fee of $5.00 will be charged or withheld from refunds for duplicate entries. ENTRIES NOT ON OFFICIAL AKC FORMS or photocopies of entry forms without rules and agreement on reverse side of Official AKC entry form are NOT acceptable. Entries submitted in the form of telegrams or by telephone, cannot be accepted. TO BE ACCEPTABLE an entry must be submitted with required entry fee on an Official American Kennel Club entry form. CHANGES, ADDITIONS OR CORRECTIONS to entry forms must be received in writing prior to the close of entries. Those received by telephone are not acceptable. ENTRY FEES SHALL NOT BE REFUNDED in the event that a dog is absent, disqualified, excused by the Judge, or barred from competition by action of the show committee, or because the dog is ineligible to compete due to being entered incorrectly. There is no refund of entry fee for duplicate entry or overpayment of entry fees. If because of riots, civil disturbances, fire, extreme and/or dangerous weather conditions, an Act of God, public emergency, act of a public enemy, strikes or any other acts beyond the control of the Club or Show Secretary it is impossible to open or complete the show, no refund of entry fee will be made. AN ADMINISTRATIVE FEE will be charged for all cancellations or changes made prior to closing of entries. Because of the cost of processing, no refunds under $5.00 will be made. ONLY DOGS THAT ARE ELIGIBLE to be shown under the American Kennel Club rules shall be allowed within the show precincts. ALL DOGS SHALL BE kept on leash except when in the exercising, obedience, or rally ring. THERE SHALL BE NO drilling, nor intensive or corrective training of dogs on the show grounds or premises.

DOGS MUST BE READY FOR JUDGING. The Club and its Show Secretary will not be responsible and are not obligated to furnish any service for notifying exhibitors or their agents of breed or class judging. Judges will not wait for any dog holding up a class. Owners or agents alone are responsible for the presence of their dogs in the judging ring. DOGS NEED TO BE AT THE SHOW only at scheduled time of judging and may leave immediately thereafter, unless required for further judging. THE CLUB reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value. ALL TROPHIES must be claimed the day of the show. None will be mailed or otherwise distributed. THE WELFARE OF AN EXHIBITOR S CHILD is assumed to be the responsibility of the exhibitor. It is distinctly understood that exhibitors will exercise control and restraint over their children on the days of the shows. ALL PERSONS ATTENDING THIS DOG SHOW hereby waive any claim for damages against the club, its members or agents, in the event a motor vehicle must be entered to rescue a dog from overheating or suffocation due to improper ventilation. CLEANING UP AFTER YOUR DOG IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY! Pooper-scoopers (in chlorine filled buckets) will be placed all around the show grounds and outside all show rings. If your dog soils the parking lot, show grounds or the rings, it is your responsibility to clean it up. By signing the entry form for this show, you are agreeing that clean-up is your responsibility. Violators may be subject to an Event Committee Hearing. DOG WASHING ON THE FAIRGROUNDS: The 1996 Clean Water Act is now being enforced at the Alameda County Fairgrounds. All gray water which includes soapy water from washing dogs) must be discharged into sanitary sewer systems only, and not dumped onto the ground or into storm drains. A hefty fine can be leveled against offenders. Del Valle will be placing Dog Bathtubs around the grounds for your convenience. Please look for designated dog washing locations. THE CLUB, ITS SHOW SECRETARY, THEIR AGENTS, EMPLOYEES, ETC., WILL USE DUE CARE AND DILIGENCE FOR THE WELFARE OF DOGS AND EXHIBITORS, BUT WILL ASSUME NO RESPONSIBILITY FOR ANY LOSS, DAMAGE OR INJURY SUSTAINED BY EXHIBITORS, HANDLERS, OR TO ANY OF THEIR DOGS OR PROPERTY PARTICIPATING IN THESE SHOWS, AND FURTHER ASSUMES NO RESPONSIBILTY FOR INJURY TO CHILDREN AT THESE SHOWS. NOTICE TO EXHIBITORS American Kennel Club Rules and Regulations will govern this event and exhibitors must make themselves familiar with the agreement of the American Kennel Club, referred to on the reverse side of the entry blanks that accompany this Premium List. Unloading is through BOTH the Main Gate off Pleasanton Avenue and Gate 12 off Valley Avenue. Any exhibitor may drive onto the grounds to unload between 6 a.m. and 7:15 a.m. Please leave your headlights on while on the grounds. All vehicles must be off the grounds by 7:30 a.m. or they will be towed. Be sure to allow yourself plenty of time as for obvious safety reasons this time cannot be extended. Except for medical emergencies no vehicles may drive onto the show grounds after 7:15 a.m. You may drive back onto the grounds to load up only after all judging in your area has concluded. After 7:15 a.m. an unloading loop will be open all day between the Young California and Exhibition Buildings (accessed through the main paved parking lot) and through the tunnel in the back for the North Forty rings. OBEDIENCE TRIAL Please note: January 1, 2009 Obedience Regulations, Chapter 1, Section 3, Jump Heights required with entry. Include Jump Height on entry form with class. Entries without Jump Height will be judged at the end of the class. Move-ups will be allowed - Jump Heights will be in Descending Order
