Regular Classes 4 and under 6 months Puppy Class 6 and under 9 months Puppy Class 9 and under 12 months Puppy Class Open Class All Regular Classes will be divided by sex and are offered for all Miscellaneous breeds and all FSS Breeds. Dogs Eligible to Enter This event All dogs four (4) months of age or older that are registered with the American Kennel Club or approved Foundation Stock Service (FSS) breeds are eligible to participate. No Champions of Record may compete in an Open Show. No spayed or neutered dogs. Professional handlers or agents are only permitted to exhibit in FSS Open shows if they are listed as an owner of record of the dog being exhibited. Professional handlers are defined as any person who belongs or has belonged to a professional handlers organization, distributed rate cards, or otherwise advertised or represented themselves as a handling dogs for pay. Dogs should be physically sound. No dog shall be judged if it is taped, bandaged, glued or stitched anywhere including ears or tail in any way or has anything attached to it for medical purposes. Refer to chapter 2 of the Registration and Discipline Rules for the listing of registerable breeds that may participate. Entry Fees Entry Fees for each dog...$20.00 Please make checks payable to the TKC. No entries will be accepted by phone, fax or email. Express mail entries must include the signature waiver allowing them to be left at the secretary s address. No entry shall be made and no entry shall be accepted which specifies any conditions to its acceptance. Illegible entries will not be processed and will be returned to the exhibitor. Returned checks do not constitute a valid entry and the Show Secretary will add a collection fee to the amount of each returned check. Refunds No entry fee will be refunded if the event cannot open or be completed by reason of riots, civil disturbances, fire, an act of God, public emergency, act of a public enemy, or any other cause beyond the control of the organizing committees. No entry fee will be refunded in the event a dog is absent disqualified, excused or barred from competition by the action of the Show Committees

By entering this event, exhibitors acknowledge that they are familiar with the rules and regulations of this sport. It is expressly understood that exhibitors alone are responsible for the behavior of their dogs and/or children. Any exhibitor whose dogs and /or children create an unnecessary disturbance or repeatedly engage in unsafe or disruptive behavior may, at the discretion of the event committee, be asked to leave the show site. In such case, no refund of any fees paid will be made. The Tacoma Kennel Club and their agents, employees, etc., will assume no responsibilities for any loss, damage or injury sustained by exhibitors or handlers or to any of their dogs or property and further assume no responsibility for injury to children. The Tacoma Kennel Club reserves the right to decline entries for cause and may remove any dog on account of aggression. No one shall have any recourse or claim against either organization or any official thereof. All dogs must be on leash at all times when on event grounds. No retractable leads or prong collars.
Site Information Exhibitors are responsible for cleaning up after their dog(s). Pick up hair and debris after grooming. Any exhibitor failing to do so may be excused without benefit of refund if a Show Committee deems the exhibitor to be in violation of this requirement. Please be neat and place all garbage in the dumpster or trash cans as soon as possible. Disposal sites will be available at the various locations around the show grounds.
