Notice to Exhibitors Entries will open at 8:00 A.M. on Wednesday, September 10, 2014 Eastern Standard Time at the Trial Secretary s home. Entries received before that time will be returned. NO hand-carried entries will be accepted. Make checks or money orders payable to the Central Kentucky Herding Group Club (CKHGC). All fees are payable in U.S. funds. Please type or print all information required on entry form. Entry fees are $45.00 per trial per dog per class on Saturday and Sunday. Exhibition only entries will be accepted, with the same entry fee and closing time and date as regular entries. Entries close at 5:00 P.M. There shall be no refund of entry fees for dogs that are absent, retired, removed, excused or disqualified or if because of riots, civil disturbances, or other acts beyond the control of the Club it is impossible to open or compete in the Trial. If a dog is absent and is replaced by an alternate, then the entry fee shall be refunded. Entrants on the alternates list must check in with the Trial Secretary on the Trial grounds no later than thirty (30) minutes prior to start of trial each day. Alternates that do not have the opportunity to run shall have the entry fee refunded. Requests to move-up must be given to the Trial Secretary at least thirty (30) minutes prior to the start of the trial. Bitches in season will be permitted to run in catalog order in Trial classes but will be placed at the end of the running order in Test classes. Returned checks do not constitute a valid entry fee. A $25.00 collection fee will be added to each returned check. No refunds will be made for duplicated entries or errors on entry blanks. Owners are responsible for errors in making out entry forms and no entry fee will be refunded in the event of such. The Central Kentucky Herding Group Club may decline any entries and may remove any dog on account of disease, viciousness, or other cause and no one shall have any claim against the Central Kentucky Herding Group Club or any official thereof. The Test and Trial site is in the Eastern Time zone. There will be a lunch break at the judge s discretion each day. Many restaurants are available in Versailles. Lunch will be available for purchase on site. Please clean up after your dog and yourself. We ask the cooperation of exhibitors in helping to keep the Trial location as clean as possible in order to be able to hold future AKC events at this facility. The initial handlers sheep meeting will be held at 7:30 A.M. SATURDAY and SUNDAY. Subsequent handlers meetings will be held before each class. A separate entry must be made for each dog. The AKC waiver statement included in the entry blank, must accompany each entry and must be SIGNED for the entry to be accepted. Entries without legible phone/e-mail info will be refused. All dogs must be held on leash or otherwise restricted except when competing. Under no circumstances will dogs be allowed to disturb the resting stock or interfere outside the arena with another dog s performance in the arena. See Chapter 1, Section 20 of the AKC Herding Regulations. This is a working farm, please take care to close and latch all gates. Please remember to bring shade, water, chairs and raingear.
