Teaching Experience and Philosophy: Teaching Philosophy As a teacher, I have been enjoying being a facilitator of the learning process and inspiring students interest in mammalian physiology pharmacology by being knowledgeable, well-prepared, and enthusiastic. I have been integrating understanding of the structure, function, biochemical pathways, and case-based approaches to help students appreciate the importance of basic physiological concepts and their interrelationships. I believe in challenging the students and enticing them to look for, evaluate and ethically use information to promote life-long; think critically, and solve problems. I design practical sessions and project-based learning experiences to help students use discovery and project-based learning to understand physiological and pharmacological concepts. I encourage students to work in teams and learn from each other (peer instruction). My diverse teaching experiences and solid background systems physiology, pharmacology and research in endocrinology, support my educational credentials and accomplishments.
