It is time to honor our dogs who have earned new AKC titles during 2016. Barbara Curtis is collecting the information for the awards this year. Please send the following information for each AKC title your dog has earned: Dog's AKC Registered Name Title Dog Earned This must be done for each dog and each title earned. If this is the first time you are receiving these awards you will need to let Barbara know that you will need a plaque. For the plaque, she will need the owner's name. (One Plaque per family). Treasurer s Report: reviewed, discussed and accepted. We are still waiting for complete totals for the show, but it appears we are down on our income this year. Correspondence: Flyers announcing an all breed/rare breed dog show in December. Flo usually receives letters from Carol regarding the 4 H achievement night awards. Letters were not sent this year due to the forest fires in Carol s area. Achievement night is already passed, but they are short on money, and could use a donation. This will be taken before the board for discussion and we will continue discussion at our next meeting. Committees: Building: No report Training Center: No report Show: Appears to have gone smoothly. Silent auction made $541.00, and the generosity of the membership is greatly appreciated. Fun match made $220.00. The new location for Rally and Obedience worked out well. Events: Summer outing, Dee. Pueblo Mountain Park has an enclosed space for $75 an hour with a minimum. There are free areas available. City Park has free pavilions. Zoo has a space available for 2 hours, at $50.00. Colorado City has a $75 half a day Pavilion. Nature Center rents a pavilion $45 an hour, plus a park pass. Lake Pueblo $90 a day, plus park pass dogs can attend. Training Center we would need more tables. Contact Dee if you have ideas. Annual Awards Dinner - January 28th (Saturday) at 2:00 PM. At the Mozart. Menu will probably be the same. Remember to turn in all of your AKC titles earned in 2016. Email Barb. Old Business: Sportsman s Award Flo, Renee, Pat Hill are the on the committee.
