9:00 Closing Ceremony 9:30-10:30 AM Depart for home KLONDIKE SLED RACE INFORMATION The sled race will be held in the large field by Base Camp by the Judges tower beginning at 3:15 sharp. The sled must carry one patrol member for the race which will be a speed event based on a separate Novice and Advanced class. Sleds should consist of the same Scouts that made up the patrol during the skills portion of the day. The fastest three speeds in the preliminary races within each class will then have a race off for the winner. There will be PRIZES for the Top 3 Winning Patrols in each level. If the conditions permit, there will be obstacles and jumps and other hazards to make the race more interesting. Details and sign-ups will be available at registration and at the SM/SPL meeting. There will be NO WHEELS ALLOWED. Patrols must participate in at least 6 skill events to compete in the sled race. Patrol Passports must be shown at the beginning of race to confirm completion of the 6 required stations. Patrol/Sled Team Information
