Club membership is open to any person with an interest in any feather species. Lockyer Valley feather Club. Is affiliated with the Feather Club Association of Queensland Inc. All exhibitors must have a Registration Number, or they can purchase one on the day at a cost of $10.00 for 1 year or $25.00 for 3 years. ALL ENTRIES MUST BE PENNED BY 8:30AM POULTRY PAVILLION GATTON SHOWGROUNDS JUDGING COMMENCES AT 9AM SHARP Exhibits may be penned the day prior to judging between the hours of 4pm and 6pm or as previously arranged with the Chief steward. This show is conducted under the Constitution and By-laws of the Lockyer Valley Feather club and all or any appropriate regulations shall apply to all exhibitors There is no limit to the number of entries in any class until the pens are filled. A.O.V. or A.V. Classes state Breed or A.O.C or A.C. Classes state Colour clearly on entry form. If there are 6 or more entries per Breed or Colour in these classes, then separate classes will be created. Breed Sashes will be rewarded if there are 8 or more entries in a Breed, for example- Leghorns Black/Brown/White/A.O.C. Entries must be the bona-fide property of the exhibitor. The club may exercise its constitutional powers in refusing any entries from an exhibitor should the need arise. The chief steward has complete control over all exhibits always. While the club takes all care, they DO NOT accept any responsibilities for the welfare of exhibits. Lockyer Valley Feather club reserves the right to amend, add or delete classes as may be necessary. All entries must be free of vermin, they must be healthy and in top show condition. The chief steward has the right to ask any exhibitor to remove from the pavilion any exhibit that does not comply with this regulation at the expense of the exhibitor. All Entries will be judged in classes entered by the exhibitor or at the Judge s discretion. The presentation of Trophies and shashes is at finalisation of Judging. Long distance exhibitors will be given preference of early unpenning. NO exhibit to be unpenned until after the presentation or at the chief steward s agreement. ****EXHIBITORS PLEASE NOTE**** ALL carry boxes must be removed from the pavilion before judging commences. ALL leg bands must be removed from poultry & waterfowl before judging.
