FAMILY FRIENDLY RUSTY NEEDS A NEW HOME Rusty is a two-year-old Neo-mastiff x Shar pei who needs a new home. He is a very friendly dog loves walks and play time and cuddles. He is also a great family dog and is very family friendly. He is toilet trained he was an inside/ outside dog but now an outside only dog. On walks he pulls a bit, but that s partly because he s not being walked much at the moment. He s cuddly he s used to cats but not a big fan of other dogs. He s a big dog and needs reasonable height fences to keep him in. He is a very happy dog and loves to play ball and tug of war he loves his treats and he will be a good family friend/ pet and he is very careful around kids. To find out more, phone Harley on 0435 310 822. GORGEOUS OLLIE NEEDS A NEW HOME Ollie is a much-loved nine year old Labrador who s owners are moving overseas and sadly they can t take Ollie with them. He has all the wonderful traits of an older Labrador. He loves everyone, he s good with children and he s well past the destructive puppy stage. If you re looking for an easy-going family friend, Ollie could be perfect. He s looking for a home where he ll be a treasured member of the family. In return, you ll have a best buddy with a gentle nature, a waggy tail and a happy temperament. When the kids are at school, he s happy to chill out in the garden and have a bit of snooze. He ll need somewhere warm to hang out when the weather is cold. Ollie needs a good walk each day to keep life interesting and to stop him getting too tubby. Like every single Labrador ever born, Ollie loves his food. Ollie is in good health with no signs of arthritis. He s desexed and has had regular vaccinations and health checks. Email Mary at: andrewandmary@gmail.com

CLIFF THE BIG FRIENDLY GIANT NEEDS A NEW HOME Cliff is a 6yo mastiff cross. He s a big dog but he's a good boy - obedient, house trained and travels well in the car. Due to a change in his owners circumstances he needs a new forever home. He knows sit and 'paw' and he'll do them twice as fast when the treats come out! He's good on lead and enjoys daily walks (forget the marathon though). Cliff enjoys the finer things in life, including his meals and being allowed in the house. He s a great snuggle buddy on the couch if he s allowed. He is still a playful boy and loves to play games with people. He's a bit to clumsy for a family with small children. Cliff would like a home with a female medium/large dog for companionship. He's desexed, vaccinated and microchipped. Call Frank on 0406 377 969 or email: frank.ranner@gmail.com YOUNG MOOI NEEDS A NEW HOME Mooi (pronounced Moy - like toy) means beautiful in Dutch. This girl certainly fits her name. She s about 10 months old and just not fitting in to her current home. Her owners hadn t planned to adopt a pup, but they were unexpectedly gifted Mooi and have tried to make it work. Mooi is a gorgeous girl but she lives with an elderly Dachshund who s fed up with Mooi s attention and so are the resident chooks! She needs an owner who will continue to teach her all the things a young pup needs to learn. She s looking for a home where she ll be allowed inside with her family when they are home. She s looking for an active home who will take her for lots of walks and include her in whatever is going on. She s good on lead. She has working dog genes in her and would be a great dog to take to obedience classes. Call her owner on 0478395654 or email: megjcarey@gmail.com

SWEET BASIL NEEDS A NEW HOME Basil is a delightful and much loved 4-year-old Mystery mix. He s affectionate, playful and loves people. He loves to play, and will chase a ball, but prefers you to chase him around the yard or play tugo-war. He s anxious on walks around traffic and outside of his comfortable space. Basil is used to coming inside to sleep on a comfy bed or snuggled up with his people. He has lovely indoor manners. He is anxious around other dogs, although he has lived well with another dog over the past few years. He d be better in a home where he is the only dog. He is a bit boisterous for smaller children and stressed around babies but does like to play with bigger kids. He s desexed, vaccinated & microchipped. Basil comes with a training session from Paws In Motion Pet Services to help him settle in. Call his owner on 0415290254 or email dan.and.cait.buttress@gmail.com WHO S GOT A SOFT SPOT FOR SPOT? Spot is a six year old Australian Terrier x Border Collie. He s looking for a new home because he s not getting along with the dogs he lives with. He s affectionate, he loves people and loves to be a part of the family. If he was an only dog he d be happy, but right now he s just not very good at sharing the attention with the other dogs he lives with and things are only getting worse. Spot is looking for a nice calm home where he will be the only dog and an owner who ll give him time to settle in and relax. In his current home he does sometimes pee inside, but without doggy competition marking his territory may not be a problem. He loves attention and will happily sit at your feet collecting pats while you re watching TV. Spot loves his walks but needs to be walked where there aren t many other dogs especially off lead dogs. He is very anxious if he sees another dog and will bark and lunge to keep them away. Spot s a great dog who is just not showing his best side in his current home. To find out more about Spot, call 0422415908 or email: vinny7641@gmail.com

BEAUTIFUL NATURED BAYNE NEEDS A NEW HOME Bayne is an 8 year old (approx) dreamboat who acts so much younger than his age. He s extremely playful and comes alive with his toys, which he ll gladly throw, catch and chase all by himself like the happy dog he is. He has a beautiful nature, and adores people. He needs supervision around other dogs, and isn t suitable with cats. He spent a few months in the pound, and his current owners were worried he might be put down so they adopted him, always intending to rehome him. He s very smart and knows sit, shake, drop, wait, come, go and bark on command. He s looking for a home where he ll be loved and be a member of the family. To find out more, email HAYLEY on grazzelda_316@hotmail.com PRETTY APRIL NEEDS A NEW HOME April is a 4 year old premium blend mixed breed, about medium sized. She is a happy and energetic girl looking for a new home through no fault of her own. She was adopted from the RSPCA a few years ago but sadly her family no longer have enough time to give her the life she deserves. She's playful and loves kids and adults. She'll need an active family who'll take her for regular walks or runs and include her as part of the family. She's not good with other dogs unfortunately. She's microchipped and vaccinated and has had regular vet checkups. To find out more, email JESSICA on jwmiffle@gmail.com

SNUGGLEBUG RILLA NEEDS A NEW HOME Rilla is an older gent - an 8 year old Staffy x. He LOVES people, LOVES company and cuddles and BELLY RUBS. He s used to being allowed inside with his people. In his ideal home someone would be home most of the time during the day. He hasn t lived with children, but he s been fine when he has been around them. He loves his walks and is looking for a home where he ll get a walk each day. He s lived with other dogs in the past and is also happy to say hello to dogs he meets on a walk but isn t overly interested in them. Rilla doesn t like being left alone, especially during storms and he will try to escape. Rilla needs colorbond fences at least 1.8m high to keep him in. To find out more, contact Justin on 0421955358 or jborourke@hotmail.com CYDI AND NED NEED A NEW HOME TOGETHER Cydi (black) and Ned (tan) are two cuddly and affectionate kelpies who are great with kids. Cydi (female) is 8 years old. Ned (male) is 6 years old. They love everyone and everyone they meet loves them! and thinks they re gorgeous dogs. They ve always been outside dogs. Ned is a little timid sometimes, so needs lots of pats for him to trust you properly. Cydi and Ned need a home where their owners have time to take them for a good walk every day. If they get too bored in a backyard, they ll try to escape, so good height colorbond fences are needed. Cydi and Ned are great family dogs and the more people around the better! They have basic obedience and walk reasonably well on lead. To find out more, phone BETH on 0431 052 021

LITTLE ROSIE NEEDS A CALM AND SAFE NEW HOME Rosie is a 2 year old Shar pei x Jack Russell who s not very confident. She had a rough start in life and is very scared of people and other dogs. She is such a beautiful loving dog at heart and plays gently with her owner's 2 year old son. But she has trouble meeting new people and takes quite a while to feel safe around them. She has grown up with another dog and got along well with him, but she is quite frightened of other dogs. Rosie also loves a cuddle and loves the water. She is desexed, vaccinated and has been an outdoor dog but sleeps inside at night in winter. If you re a patient loving owner, you could be the one to give Rosie the life she deserves. To find out more, email claire_larkin35@hotmail.com LOVEABLE BUNDY NEEDS A NEW HOME!! Bundy is a cuddly and affectionate mastiff youngster about 18 months old. She loves walks and playing with other dogs, but also likes to be around her owner and to sit nice and close for cuddles. She s toilet trained and used to being inside when her people are home. She s good with kids, but she's a big dog so might accidentally bump toddlers over. She doesn t have any reaction to cats, so could be ok living with a cat. She loves to chase toys and brings them back. She would love the company of another dog or if not, then an owner who s at home a fair bit of the time. She s a little nervous when meeting men for the first time but a few treats can make a big difference. She s desexed and microchipped. To find out more, email dinasam@hotmail.com

BARKLEY NEEDS A COMFY PLACE TO CALL HOME Barkley is a much loved 14 year old girl who s owner is moving overseas. The big move would be too much for Barkley, so her owner is hoping there s a loving home out there where Barkley can live out her days. She s a gentle and slightly timid dog who d be happy in a calm and quiet home probably without children or with older children who will treat her gently. She has beautiful house manners and likes to stay indoors almost all the time. She likes being near her people, and is used to having access to the house when her owner goes out. Barkley likes a short walk most days more of a airing really. She s in good health, apart from a few typical old dog things that don t cause her any pain and don t require fixing. Potential adopters could also chat with Barkley s vet. Contact Rhonda on 0433 986 543 or email rhonich@gmail.com JESTER AND SARABI NEED A NEW HOME TOGETHER Sarabi and Jester are two family friendly dogs who are great with children. They ve grown up together and are looking for a new home together. Sarabi is a female six year old Kelpie cross. She is very affectionate although she had a rough start in life and is still a bit nervous around loud noises. Jester is a male five year old Labrador. He s a big boofhead and loves a good play or a tummy scratch. They mostly live as outside dogs but come inside for a few hours each day in the morning and evening. They aren't the greatest dogs on leads, they like to explore a lot and pull. At the moment they re only walked on weekends, but with a good walk each day, they may settle down. On walks, they get very excited and bark sometimes when they see another dog. Again, this may improve with regular walks. Both love playing fetch and bring back balls about 50% of the time. They are very affectionate and love sitting at your feet. Both know how to sit, shake and stay. Sarabi is desexed, Jester is not. To find out more, email their owner on spdempsey@bigpond.com

TIMMY IS LOOKING FOR A NEW HOME Timmy is only 12 months old, Kelpie cross, he has had a rough life before being adopted by his current owners. He was extremely thin, starving, full of worms, covered in scabs and was terrified of everything. He's made great progress, he needs a kind and patient home that can build his confidence. He's house trained, loves other dogs and toys! The dog toy box is one of his favourite discoveries about living in the house. Timmy is very smart and athletic. With the right person he might do well at dog sports. He's a very sweet and gentle boy. Only barks to alert that someone has come to the property. He's met horses and is not fazed by them. Timmy would suit a experienced dog home preferably with another friendly dog to keep him company. He would not suit a home with cats. He would be great for a retired couple who are still very active and have another dog around his size, a home by the sea would be great for him as well. Please email Maree: keetamouse@grapevine.com.au MARLEY NEEDS A NEW HOME Marley, a desexed 9-year-old Rotti mix, needs a new home as his family are moving overseas This gorgeous boy has lovely indoor manners, is used to sleeping inside with his family and loves an outing. He is currently walked twice a day and walks well on lead with the occasional strong pull towards a particularly interesting scent. Marley is not a dog park fan as he can get overwhelmed with too many dogs around and is not comfortable with strange dogs getting too much in his face, but he does have a few doggy playmates. Marley is very storm phobic and scared of sudden loud noises so needs to be inside during stormy weather.marley will bark when someone comes to the door or strangers enter the house though he soon settles once introduced and enjoys getting affection. Marley requires an effective and inexpensive injection for arthritis regularly. His ideal home is as an only dog, the centre of his family s attention. DIAMOND & THOR NEED TEMPORARY CARE Diamond and Thor are looking for temporary care for when their owner has to go to Tasmania to look after her very sick mum. This will probably be in August for six months. Diamond is a four year old desexed American Staffy cross ridgeback. Thor is a two year old undesexed American staffy. They are housetrained and used to being inside dogs. They haven t spent any time around children. They are not very friendly with other dogs but get on well with each other. Diamond is strong on lead, Thor is easier to walk. Both dogs love their walks and would need a walk most days. Around the house they are relaxed and well mannered. Both dogs are vaccinated. Email: alycescott544@gmail.com MR MASON NEEDS A NEW HOME Great dog with people and children. Very family focussed. Good house manners and used to sleeping inside with his family. Six years old so past the destructive puppy stage! He hasn't had the greatest start in life, but he's a great fur friend and loyal buddy. He needs a home where he will be the only dog. He s also not suited to the dog park. He's looking for an owner who s a good leader and who ll spend time helping him get over his anxiety around other dogs on walks. He needs consistent guidance. His owner isn't sure how he is with cats. He's desexed and vaccinated. To find out more, contact his owner on 0430 108 458.

BUNDY NEEDS A NEW FAMILY TO LOVE Great family dog. Good with kids and currently lives with toddler. Used to being inside. He belonged to a young bloke who s now moved out of home and his mum didn t plan to own a dog! Bundy hasn t been taken for a walk for quite a while, but he d love a home where he gets regular walks. He s six years old. He loves his toys (or anyone else s toys) and is very cuddly. He knows sit and waits to get a treat. He s a clever dog and would quickly learn the rules of his new home. He pulls on the lead, but a front attaching harness and some training could help this. For most of his life he s lived with another dog, but she's gone now and for the last year he s been lonely. He d probably love a friendly female dog to hang out with. Bundy is desexed. To find out more, contact his owner on 0403 570 993. MINDY & REXY NEED A NEW HOME TOGETHER These two dogs are smart loving loyal dogs with a beautiful nature. They will only go to a loving home where they will be included as part of the family. Both dogs are about 4 years old. MINDI is the black and white female staffordshire terrier (desexed). REXY is the male white and brindle Johnson bulldog x staghound (not desexed). Both dogs are good with kids. Both dogs are affectionate and would make great family dogs although Rexy jumps up a bit. They have not been around other dogs but they are ok when they pass by other dogs on a walk. Rexy is great on lead but Mindi pulls. Sometimes they are nervous around strangers, but they warm up quickly. They are not escape artists but will need a secure yard. They are both microchipped and vaccinated. Contact their owner on 0468 811 557.
