Rabbits Rabbits will be given a health check upon check-in. Any rabbits showing symptoms of illness, including but not limited to, ear mites, nasal and/or eye discharge will be denied entrance to the barn and unable to show. Exhibitors are responsible for caring or arranging for care of their own rabbit(s) while in the barn. This includes food, water, and clean-up. Exhibitors are NOT to feed or water other exhibitors animals, if an animal is without feed or water, please contact the Rabbit Superintendent. Rabbits are to be checked in and remain on exhibit until designated release time. Exceptions to check in or release time are at the discretion of the Rabbit Superintendent. Removal of rabbits without Rabbit Superintendents permission could result in premiums being withheld. Rabbits MUST be placed on the judging table by the EXHIBITORS, the ONLY exceptions are for young children needing help or anyone with more than one rabbit being shown in a class. Any exhibitor who is not present in the barn when their rabbit is being shown will not be eligible for placing or premiums. All rabbits must be property of the exhibitors and must have been in possession of the owner by the entry deadline. Meat Pen Rabbits and Single Fryer Rabbits!..: Meat Pen Definition- A Meat Pen will consist of 3 rabbits of the same color and the same breed (mixed breeds are allowed). They will be no older than 10 weeks of age, and weigh no less than 3 pounds and no more than 5 pounds. Single Fryer Definition- One rabbit, not over 10 weeks of age. Rabbit must weigh at least 3 pounds and no more than 5 pounds. Roaster Definition- One rabbit under 6 months of age weighing no less than 5 ½ pounds and no more than 9 pounds. Stewer Definition- One rabbit 6 months of age or older. Minimum weight 8 pounds, no maximum weight. No rabbifentered in a meat pen may be double entered as a single fryer. No rabbit being shown in a meat class may be double entered as a single entry buck or doe. No rabbits shown in a PeeWee or Junior Class may be entered in an Open class, even if shown by a different exhibitor
