When sending entry ms and fees by post, the onus is on the exhibitor to ensure adequate delivery time. Entry ms by facsimile or email will not be accepted. A late entry option is available under the following conditions: o Late entries may only be submitted online and will be accepted 7 days after the official closing date (by 5.00 pm CST) o An additional fee equivalent to three times the standard entry fee is paid. 2 DOMESTIC PETS ACKNOWLEDGEMENT OF ENTRIES If you require acknowledgement that your entries have been received, please include a stamped, selfaddress envelope with your entry m. YOUR PRIVACY If you do not want your details to be made available to other parties, please tick the box on the entry m supplied by the RA&HS. Your personal inmation will then only be used by the RA&HS to maintain contact with you and allow us to manage your entries. The RA&HS reserves the right to inm prize sponsors of the details of recipients to enable distribution of their voucher/product prizes. Please note: by ticking the box to suppress your details, your name will appear in the Catalogue (if applicable) but your address will not. SPECIAL REGULATIONS Exhibitors are reminded that the Society s General Regulations apply to all sections of the Show and that the Special Regulations hereunder set out, which apply to this section only, are merely supplementary to and subject to these General Regulations. A copy of the General Regulations may be obtained from the Society s website www. theshow.com.au or a copy may be obtained upon request from the Society s Administration Office. ENTRY PASSES Aquarium Fish One 10 day Show Pass Caged Birds One Admit One Pass is issued your initial entry into the Royal Adelaide Show. Additional pass/es can be obtained from the Supervisor when delivering your first allocation of birds. Cavies One Admit One Pass 1 10 Cavies, Two Admit One Passes 10 or more Cavies as well as a vehicle permit. Rabbits One Admit One Pass 1-10 Rabbits, Two Admit One Passes 11 + Rabbits. Reptiles Four Admit One Passes WITHDRAWALS All withdrawals must be made in writing and can be sent via email to entries@adelaideshowground.com.au or faxed to (08) 8210 5222. Emailed withdrawals must include Withdrawal in the subject line and the section (eg Domestic Pets), exhibitor name, class number, exhibit number (if known) and exhibit name (if applicable). Withdrawals must be made at least 24 hours prior to judging. S The following prizes will be awarded (unless otherwise specified): Aquarium Fish: First, $15 ribbon and a card; Second, $10 ribbon and a card; Third, ribbon and a card. All Awards to receive a Sash and Card Caged Birds: First, $5 and card; Second, $2.50 and card; Third, card. All Major Awards to receive a Sash and Card Cavies: First, Ribbon; Second, Ribbon; Third, Ribbon; and Best of Breed sash and card. In addition, rosettes will be awarded to major winners with sashes being presented to other special award winners. Rabbits: First, Ribbon and card; Second, Ribbon and card; Third, Ribbon and card Special prize cards will be awarded to all Best of Breed winners. Rosettes will be awarded to major prize winners. Reptiles: First, $20 and ribbon; Second, $10 and ribbon; Third, ribbon. All Major Awards to receive Sash. PAYMENT OF MONEY All prize money won during the Royal Adelaide Show will be paid by Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) only. MONEY WILL BE PAID AT THE END OF OCTOBER. Any trophy, prize or prize money not claimed by 11 December of the current year. shall be deemed feited by the exhibitor and the RA&HS shall no longer be liable to pay or provide the prize.

DOMESTIC PETS 3 MONEY AND GST Prize money as stated in the Prize Schedule does not include GST. The prize money which we pay to successful exhibitors depends on inmation provided to us. If you confirm that you are GST registered and provide your Australian Business Number (ABN), we will pay the appropriate prize money plus 10% GST. We will provide you with a Recipient Created Tax Invoice which you will need to submit to the Australian Taxation Office. If you confirm you are registered GST, in entering the competition, you acknowledge your agreement to the following: You will not issue a tax invoice to the RA&HS in respect to prize money received; You will notify the RA&HS if you cease to be registered GST. If you provide your Australian Business Number but are not registered GST, we will pay the prize money as detailed in the Prize Schedule without reference to the GST. If you confirm you are entering as part of a private recreational pursuit or hobby, we will pay the prize money as detailed in the Prize Schedule without reference to GST. IMPORTANT It is important that you either: Confirm you are entering as part of a private recreational pursuit or hobby, or Confirm you are entering as a GST registered business and supply your ABN Failure to do either of the above will require the RA&HS to withhold tax, at the maximum tax rate, from prize money in accordance with Australian tax legislation. The RA&HS is not a tax consultant and theree assumes no liability actions taken as a result of these guidelines. In any instances where an entrant or sponsor is uncertain of the tax implications of their involvement, they should consult their own accountant or tax advisor. The Society makes every endeavour to ensure all prizes listed are accurate at the time of printing. Should a prize (cash, voucher, product, trophy) be withdrawn by a sponsor subsequent to printing, the Society will pay prize money as stated above. It is the responsibility of the prize winner to follow-up with the Society any sponsored prize (cash, voucher, product, trophy) they believe they are entitled to prior to 11 December in the year of the prize being awarded. The Society will not follow-up prize sponsors after this date or review any prizes that may have been incorrectly awarded. SICK OR DISEASED ANIMALS If in the opinion of a qualified veterinary surgeon appointed by the Society, an animal on the Showground is so injured or affected by sickness, disease or other ailment as to warrant its destruction or removal from the Showground, the Society shall be entitled to have the animal destroyed and/or require it to be removed immediately from the Showground. If the exhibitor fails to respond to a request to remove an animal, the Society may do so and any costs of removal will be borne by the Exhibitor. PENALTY FOR NON-EXHIBITION OF ANIMAL In order to prevent the non-exhibition of animals which have been entered the Show, thus causing unnecessary preparation, expense and disarrangement of the Show area, any persons making an entry shall be liable to a fine of $15 in respect of each animal not exhibited, unless a certificate under the hand of the exhibitor or his authorised agent be lodged with the secretary of the Society bee the day of exhibition to the effect that such non-exhibition is caused either by 1. the death of the animal or animals; or 2. contagious or infectious disease (confirmed by the explanatory certificate of a veterinary surgeon); or 3. becoming ineligible the class in which it has been entered, or other reasonable cause. The non-payment of such will debar all persons owing from exhibiting at future exhibitions of the Society. UNAUTHORISED REMOVAL Exhibitors shall not remove their animals from the Showground bee the time set down their removal unless they produce a certificate signed by the Society s Veterinary Surgeon or the Supervisor of the section, signifying that the animal shall be removed reasons of health or condition.

AQUARIUM FISH ENTRY FORMS If two fish are entered in the same class, please state type and colour on entry m. Photocopied entry ms will be accepted. It is the responsibility of each exhibitor to ensure that exhibits are entered in the correct class judging. STAGING OF EXHIBITS Exhibitors are strongly advised to locate their tanks by Tuesday 28 August. UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES WILL EXHIBITORS BE ALLOWED IN THE AQUARIA AREA ON JUDGING DAY WITHOUT PERMISSION OF THE SUPERVISOR. FISH MAY NOT BE REMOVED AT ANY TIME AFTER STAGING WITHOUT THE SUPERVISOR S PERMISSION. THIS REGULATION WILL BE STRICTLY ENFORCED. All exhibits must be staged in the space allocated on stands supplied by the Society. If the number of entries exceeds the space available, the Society reserves the right to restrict the number of entries to those which can be accommodated. Exhibitors may stage their fish together with their tanks concurrently if they so desire. Any illegal fish or plants will be removed at the discretion of the Supervisor. All aquaria must rectangular and have a surface area of 610 mm x 305 mm with a minimum height of 355 mm, or 915 mm x 356 mm with a height of 457 mm, unless an alternative size is specified a particular Class. All aquaria must be glass fronted and covered with either glass or gauze. All aquaria must be fitted with a plain coloured backing (painting is allowed). Exhibits must be the bona fide property of the exhibitor. Glass or plastic dividers may be used at the discretion of the exhibitor with the approval of the Supervisor. It is the Exhibitors responsibility to feed and maintain their exhibits. The Supervisor may direct the removal of any exhibit and may remove same at his discretion if the direction is not obeyed within a reasonable time. Any exhibitor found siphoning water onto the floor will be liable to feit all prize money awarded. NOTE: Aquaria may be planted but only Classes 14, 15 and 32, 33, & 34 will be judged plants and plant arrangements. Goldfish will be judged by South Australian Aquarium Society Goldfish Show Standards. These standards may be accessed on the SAAS Facebook page, or by email from the Supervising Steward, Don Priestley, email: priestdo@bigpond.net.au Other fish will be judged by relevant international standards. If in doubt, request details from the Supervisor. TANKS A limited number of 24 and 36 aquariums are available. Exhibitors should indicate their desire to use these tanks (limit of one tank per exhibitor) on their entry ms. All cavies exhibited at the Show must be fed by the exhibitor only. Cavies may be fed at the owner s discretion. 2. Cavies must be in the hall by 8.00 am. No person, except the owner or their representative, will be allowed in the hall until after the cavies have been benched. Any cavy which shows symptoms of any disease, is lice infested and/or dirty must be removed from the Showground immediately. 3. No cavy shall be removed from the hall between the hours of 8.00 am and 5.00 pm unless a veterinary certificate is produced stating that the cavy is not fit to remain on the bench. In the event that a veterinary certificate cannot be obtained, a cavy who is showing signs of distress or illness, may be removed by the exhibitor with the permission of the Show Convenor. 4. No cavy shall be removed unless a PASS OUT is obtained from the Show Convenor. Pass outs will only be issued medical or health reasons pertaining to the welfare of the cavy. 5. No cavy shall be removed from the cages during the Show, except by their owners. The nominated Stewards may remove cavies from the cages the purpose of presenting them judging. 6. If any exhibits are not in their cages when the judges are called to the floor, the exhibits will be automatically disqualified. 7. No cavy which is pregnant, nursing or sick shall be exhibited. 8. RABBITS SHOW RULES The South Australian Rabbit Association Incorporated reserves the right to decline entry of an exhibit where any Show rule is not strictly adhered to. JUDGES Purebred Rabbits...Doug King (USA) Rabbit Showjumping...Michelle Gladwin & Suzie Smith Pet Rabbit Day...Suzie Smith VETERINARY INSPECTION Purebred rabbits must arrive from 7.00 am and no later than 8.00 am on judging days. Showjumping and Pet Rabbits must arrive from 8.00 am and no later than 9.00 am on judging days. Examination by the Society s veterinary surgeon will commence at 7.30 am Purebred rabbits and 9.00 am Showjumping and Pet Rabbits. All rabbit s nails must be clipped prior to vetting. Any rabbit which shows symptoms of any disease is infested with fleas or mites and/or dirty, must be removed from the Showground immediately. If any exhibit is rejected on the grounds of infectious or contagious disease, then other exhibits from that rabbitry may also be excluded from the competition. The vet s decision is final. SPECIAL NOTE The RA&HS reserves the right to combine the two Purebred judging days pending entry numbers. In the event of this, judging of all the Purebreds will take place on Saturday, 1 September. Also in the event of high entry numbers in the showjumping section the RA&HS reserves the right to extend the judging to include Thursday 6 September. The minimum age of a rabbit entered will be ten (10) weeks. Age brackets are fixed as follows: (a) Kittens to be 10 weeks and under 14 weeks. For rabbits born on or between 26 May and 22 June 2017. (b) Juniors to be 14 weeks and under 5 months. For rabbits born on or between 1 April and 25 May 2017. (c) Adults to be 5 months and over. For rabbits born on or bee 31 March 2018. Advertising: Exhibitors are not permitted to display any advertising material until completion of judging. The exhibitor may then only display a maximum size of business card or similar on their show cages. 18 RABBITS Handling: All animals must be handled with care and kindness. No rabbit is to be lifted by its ears or the scruff of the neck. The grooming of all breeds of rabbits must be completed and the exhibit penned 30 minutes prior to show commencement. The exception being long coated breeds, which are allowed to be groomed until 15 minutes prior to show commencement. No person/s other than officials of the South Australian Rabbit Association are permitted behind the barriers while judging is in progress. At the discretion of the Show Convenor any animal that is unable to be handled safely will not be judged. SHOWJUMPING REGULATIONS Only healthy, tame, clean and friendly rabbits are eligible to compete in the Showjumping competition. Exhibits may be any breed of domestic rabbit, no pedigree or registration is required to compete in this section; however all remaining general show rules will apply. Rabbits on any type of medication are not eligible to participate. Pregnant or Nursing Does are not eligible to compete. Rabbits should never be pushed or ced to complete a jump on the course and scooping is not allowed (scooping is determined as being a ward action of the handler s hand behind the rabbit to encourage it to jump). In addition to this, rabbits on harness must not be dragged or directed with the feet of the handler. The handler may grab the harness to correct the rabbit if the handler is stationary. Competitors in the Adult Group 2 must use a H Style harness. No other type of harness is allowed. Rabbits must be handled in a humane manner and careless handling of rabbits will result in a warning. Judges have the right to ask an exhibitor to step down if cruelty is observed or suspected. Serious neglectful handling will result in disqualification from all classes entered. Only participating rabbits will be permitted in the event area. Only rabbits competing in the class being run will be allowed to use the jumping equipment. The equipment size, height and order will remain the same type and construction each rabbit competing in that class. Please note that the classes may not run in the same order as printed in this schedule. Showjumping Ages: Ages will be calculated as at 4 September 2018. RABBITS 19 PROHIBITION FROM EXHIBITING EXHIBITS NOT ELIGIBLE TO COMPETE Any exhibitor, in whose rabbitry a case of Myxomatosis is confirmed, may not exhibit at the show unless the elapse of 28 days has occurred from the last death. Any exhibitor, in whose rabbitry a case of Calici Virus is confirmed, may not exhibit at the Show unless the elapse of 90 days has occurred from the last death. An exhibitor must not compete if they have had unexplained deaths in their rabbitry within the 14 day period bee the Royal Adelaide Show. Calici Virus should be expected in any sudden death especially if more than one rabbit in the household has died. Individual rabbits will also become ineligible to compete if previously entered in a display or show in the 14 days prior to this event. CAGES Exhibitors must supply their own show cages. Cages must have a solid leak proof tray/base, which cannot exceed half the total height of the cage. Shavings or must be contained in the base, under the wire floor. Wood construction of any type is not allowed. Cages should be designed and maintained in a condition as to not cause injury to stewards or the rabbits. All cages must be top opening and should be fitted with a 30 mm curtain ring on the front face of the cage to facilitate pen tag attachment. At the exhibitor s discretion, cage curtains made of white cotton may be attached covering three sides only leaving the cage front and top clear. A cage curtain must not impede the stewards access. Cages are not to be marked with exhibitor name or stud prefix. Cages can be divided if the rabbits being exhibited are of the same breed and the size requirement is not compromised. The height of the cage should have sufficient clearance so that the rabbit s ears do not contact the lid. A maximum height of 45 cm applies to all show cages. The size requirements below are a recommendation the wellbeing of your rabbit. Dwarf & Miniature breeds up to 2.25 kg (5 lbs) 30 x 40 cm Medium sized breeds up to 3.65 kg (8 lbs) 35 x 50 cm Large and Giant breeds 40 x 60 cm The Show Committee can refuse cages of poor design and has the final say regarding the suitability of all show cages and curtains. EXHIBIT PREVIOUSLY OWNED BY A JUDGE No rabbit previously owned by a judge shall be eligible exhibition under that judge until a period of three months has elapsed from the date of registration or transfer being recorded. LIABILITY All rabbits are entered at the risk of the owner. The RA&HS and the SARA Inc. will take all due care but accept no responsibility the health and wellbeing of rabbits attending the Show. FEED AND WATER All exhibits must have water bottles fitted to their cages at all times. Owners are permitted to supply foodstuffs as they see fit. Loose hay must be contained in a hay cage or enclosure suitable this purpose (e.g. cardboard toilet roll). The Vetting Officer, Show Convenor or other committee member may supply water to any animal if they feel it is necessary to do so. Water bottles should be attached in a manner that does not impede the steward s ability to open the cage and remove the rabbit easily.

REPTILES ENTRY FORMS Please ensure all details are filled out correctly on the Entry Form otherwise an administration fee may occur. Photocopied entry ms will be accepted. RESTRICTIONS Exhibits cannot be entered in more than one class. No age restrictions. PERMITS The competition is not restricted to permit holders although copies of any relevant permits need to be provided with your Entry Form. Permits must be current. All permit holders must complete an Application Temporary Permit Variation Form and return with Entry Form. For those who already have an approved Temporary Permit Variation, they must provide a copy with their Entry Form. EXHIBITS All exhibits must be staged in the space allocated on the stands supplied by the Society. If the number of entries exceeds the space available, the Society reserves the right to restrict the number of entries to those which can be accommodated. Exhibits must be the bona fide property of the exhibitor. The Supervisor may direct the removal of any exhibit and may remove same at their discretion if the direction is not obeyed within a reasonable time. FEEDING OF EXHIBITS All exhibited animals must be fed at least 1 week prior to the Show to avoid excess mess in displays. All exhibitors will be responsible keeping their exhibit and animal clean. CLASSIFICATION All classification queries to be referred to the Supervisor. It is the responsibility of each exhibitor to ensure that exhibits are entered in the correct class judging. TANKS Loan tanks will be available to all Exhibitors and should indicate the size on their entry ms. SAFETY Safety of the visiting public, exhibitors and the animals is paramount. As such, exhibitors of Elapids and large Pythons will be required to wear appropriate Protective Clothing. Gaiters provided. Animal Exhibitors Public Liability Insurance (Explanation) WHEREAS The Royal and Horticultural Society of South Australia Inc. has agreed to effect a Public Liability insurance certain Animal Exhibitors at the 2017 Adelaide Show, the following applies:- Insured Party Period of Insurance Insured Activities Description of Cover Amount of Cover Deductible Geographic Limits Claims Payable Insurer(s) Address Policy Number Important Conditions Animal and Livestock Exhibitors participating in competitions and events From seven days prior to the Show until seven days thereafter All activities undertaken whilst within and from the confines of the event venue consistent with the Insured s livestock exhibit activity including setting up and removal Insurance in respect of the Insured Party s liability to pay costs and compensation in respect of loss of or damage to third party property and death of or injury to third party persons or advertising liability caused by and arising out of the Insured activities, all subject to the RAHSSA s policy terms, conditions, exclusions and warranties, etc. $10,000,000 any one occurrence $10,000 any one occurrence At and from the event venue Worldwide excluding claims made USA and Canada Primary $10,000,000 Lloyds of London London Underwriting Centre, 3 Minster Court, Mincing Lane, London EC3R 7DD PC0232214 The Insured Party must exercise reasonable care to maintain all premises, fittings and plant in sound condition. The Insured Party must take all reasonable precautions to prevent injury and damage to persons and property. The Insured Party must give immediate notice of an incident which may give rise to a claim or of receipt of advice of a claim. The Insured Party must not make any admission, offer or promise in connection with any claim and must not any time admit liability.

Important Conditions (continued) The Insured Party must made themselves aware of and comply with the following Notices:- Duty of Disclosure Bee you enter into a contract of General insurance with an insurer, you have a duty, under the Insurance Contracts Act 1984 as amended, to disclose to the insurer every matter that you know, or could reasonably be expected to know, is relevant to the insurer s decision whether to accept the risk of the insurance and, if so, on what terms. You have the same duty to disclose these matters to the insurer bee you renew, extend, vary or reinstate a contract of General insurance. Your duty however, does not require disclosure of matter:- that diminishes the risk to be undertaken by the insurer that is of common knowledge that your insurer knows or, in the ordinary course of his business, ought to know. Non-Disclosure If you fail to comply with your duty of disclosure, the insurer may be entitled to reduce his liability under the contract in respect of a claim or may cancel the contract. If your non-disclosure is fraudulent, the insurer may also have the option of avoiding the contract from its beginning. Average Provision The insurer will pay legal expenses in addition to the sum insured, if however, the total amount of the loss (less legal expenses) ultimately paid to the claimant(s) exceeds the sum insured then insurers will only pay (in addition to the sum insured) that proportion of the legal expenses as the sum insured bears to the loss. Third Party Interests This policy will only provide cover your interest and does not cover the interests of any third party (e.g. financiers, lessors, etc) unless the interests of the third party are noted in the policy. Waiver of Insurer s Rights You must not enter into any agreement without the written authority of the insurer whereby any of their rights to which they become entitled as your insurer after settling or agreeing to settle a claim are prejudiced or limited in any way otherwise all benefit under the policy will be feited. To do so may breach the policy conditions and enable insurers to avoid settlement. Nothing herein shall be construed to alter in any way the scope of insurance policy, its terms, conditions or exclusions, issued by insurers. 4. RAHSSA is not liable to the Insured Party in the event a claim is not paid or payable by Insurers unless RAHSSA fails to take reasonable steps to advise that the cover is or is likely to be cancelled or not renewed. 5. RAHSSA is not an Australian Financial Services (AFS) Licence holder. RAHSSA is not providing financial product advice, has not considered the particular needs of the Insured party and no statement is intended to influence a person or persons making a decision in relation to any insurance cover. You should consider obtaining your own financial product advice from person holding an AFS Licence. 6. This insurance only applies to insured parties entering competition in accordance with the general regulations. The details listed above are not comprehensive and are provided as an outline of the policy only. COMPETITIVE EXHIBITOR ROYAL ADELAIDE SHOW Conditions of Entry HAZARD REPORTING Competitors must notify the Area/Pavilion Supervisor or the Venue Management Office immediately of any hazards detected. Hazards are any situation which has the potential to cause: 1. Injury, illness or death to people or animals either immediately or in the future 2. Damage or destruction to property INCIDENT REPORTING Competitors must notify the Area/Pavilion Supervisor or the Venue Management Office immediately an incident occurs which has resulted in: 1. The injury, illness or death of any person or animal 2. The damage, destruction or loss of property 3. A near miss incident that could have resulted in the consequences listed in 1 and 2 WASTE DISPOSAL All waste including liquids must be disposed of responsibly and placed in the appropriate bin or receptacle. Storm drains must not be used the disposal of any waste. HAZARD MINIMISATION All areas must be kept in a clean and tidy order with clearly defined and available access and exit routes at all times. Build-up of combustible waste must be avoided. Care must be taken to minimise trip hazards and obstacles that people may walk into. Avoid laying unprotected cables or pipes on or above paths, walkways or roads. HAZARDOUS MATERIALS The RA&HS are to be advised of all hazardous materials that are brought onto the Showground. Appropriate warning signs and Safety Data Sheets (SDS) will need to be provided bee allowing these materials on site. SDS are to be available onsite and provided immediately upon request by a RA&HS Representative. MEDIA COMMENTS Any public comment on emergencies, incidents or other venue matters should only come from the RA&HS. The key media spokesperson the RA&HS is the Marketing Manager. DUTY OF CARE It is important to ensure your own safety and that of all other site personnel, visitors and general public at the Adelaide Showground. All competitors have a Duty of Care to avoid exposing themselves or other people to situations which could lead to injury. This Duty of Care extends to the prevention of damage to property. LIABILITY AND INDEMNITY 1. Release Entry to and remaining on the Showground is entirely at the risk of the Exhibitor and to the maximum extent permitted by law, the Exhibitor releases the Society (which term includes in this clause the Society s officers, employees, members and agents), from all claims and demands of every kind resulting from any accident, damage or injury occurring at the Showground, and without limitation, the Exhibitor acknowledges: a) the Society has no responsibility or liability any loss, damage or injury to or caused by any Exhibit; b) the Society has no responsibility or liability any loss, damage or injury to or caused by any Exhibitor, his or her family, invitees and Agents; c) the Society has no responsibility or liability any loss, damage or injury to a Motor Vehicle or any of its contents whilst it is located on the Showground; and d) without limiting Regulations 1 (a) and 1 (b) above, the Society has no responsibility or liability any loss, damage or injury resulting from the sale, treatment, failure to treat, destruction, disposal or other dealing with any Exhibit, or loss, damage or injury to any personal belongings, equipment or property brought onto the Showground. 2. Indemnity To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Exhibitor must indemnify and keep indemnified the Society and its officers, employees, members and agents from and against all actions, claims, demands, losses, damages, costs, expenses and liabilities including without limitation, consequential loss and loss of profits which the Society is or may be or become liable in respect of or arising from:

COMPETITIVE EXHIBITOR ROYAL ADELAIDE SHOW Conditions of Entry a) loss, damage or injury to any person in connection with the Exhibit or the relevant Event; b) without limiting Regulation 2(a), loss, damage or injury to any other Exhibit or Exhibitor, his or her family, invitees, Agents, or to the property of the Society, or its members, or to the general public, caused or contributed to or by any act or omission of an Exhibit of the Exhibitor or by the Exhibitor, his or her family, invitees or Agents; and c) without limiting Regulation 2(a), loss, damage or injury to the Exhibit, or the Exhibitor, his or her family, invitees, or Agents caused or contributed by an act or omission of an Exhibit of the Exhibitor or by the transportation, feeding or housing of an Exhibit of the Exhibitor. 3. Removal from Showground Without prejudice to any other provision in these Regulations, where the Society, its officers, employees, members or agents removes an Exhibit, or causes an Exhibit to be removed from the Showground, the Exhibit is removed or caused to be removed entirely at the risk of the Exhibitor. The person or persons removing the Exhibit will be deemed to be the agent of the Exhibitor, and his or her acts and omissions will be deemed to be the acts and omissions of the Exhibitor. 4. Insurance The Society will arrange Animal Exhibitors Public Liability insurance cover all Exhibitors of Exhibits being animals. The Exhibitor is bound by the terms and conditions of this insurance and by Statutory Duties as defined under the Insurance Contracts Act (1984). Details of the Animal Exhibitors Public Liability insurance are set out in the Relevant Schedule. The Society does not insure first party loss, damage or injury to Exhibits, and Exhibitors should consider purchasing insurance if required. 5. Personal effects The Society has no responsibility or liability any loss or damage caused to personal belongings, equipment or property which is brought onto the Showground by an Exhibitor, his or her family, invitees or Agents. EMERGENCY INFORMATION Emergency inmation and Emergency Assembly Points the various animal pavilions and stables will be included with Exhibitor Entry Detail Returns and Notice to Exhibitor mail outs. Competitors should be familiar with these plans. FIRST AID During the Royal Adelaide Show, St John provides First Aid Services but it is suggested that competitors have a basic First Aid kit minor injuries. RA&HS EMERGENCY FACILITIES Firefighting and other emergency equipment must not be removed or used any other purpose. Missing or unserviceable equipment should be reported to the Venue Management Office immediately. SMOKING Smoking is only permitted in designated locations. The Royal Adelaide Show is a smoke free event. TRAFFIC CONTROL The RA&HS Traffic Control Policy imposes speed restrictions within the Showground. For the duration of the Royal Adelaide Show the speed limit is 10 kph on the grounds and 8 kph inside buildings The use of vehicles inside the Showground is closely managed during the Royal Adelaide Show. Conditions of entry will be provided with the issue of Vehicle Entry Permits. ELECTRICAL EQUIPMENT 1. All extension cords and electrical appliances must be tested and tagged in accordance with current legislation as per Australian Standards 3760. 2. Power boards with overload protection can only be used at the discretion of the Venue Manager. 3. The use of double adaptors is strictly prohibited. 4. Appliances and power cables must not be used or laid through any area that may become wet. 5. Power cables must not be laid across walkways, paths, roads or any area where damage could occur to the cable. 6. Bar (resistance) heaters are strictly prohibited. 7. Light sockets must not be used any other purpose 8. In external areas only extension leads that are Heavy Duty Rated must be used.
