Pre-Enter now to secure discounted pricing! This show is an Agility Fun Match with very reasonable pricing! First and foremost, this is a no-stress opportunity to come out and play agility with your dog in a fun and supportive environment. Dogs and handlers of all skill levels are happily welcome! Food treats, toys, and any other (safe) training devices can be used in the ring. You will have a set amount of time on each course to train, practice, and simply have fun with your dog! There are no judges or scorekeepers, so the main goal is to HAVE FUN! All 14 courses being set during the weekend will be based on official NADAC VT course maps. As such, if you wish to film a video of your 1 st run on a given course, you can choose to submit it to NADAC and earn a Qualifying Score if the run is clean this is an opportunity to possibly earn up to 14 Qualifying Scores! Full details of the NADAC VT Program can be found on the NADAC website; however, the Fun Match Committee will provide an overview of the program during the morning briefings, and will be happy to assist and answer any questions you may have. We will also provide a handout that will describe in more detail how to submit a VT run for a possible Qualifying Score. Remember, you do not have to film or send in any of your runs during this Fun Match. This is just an option available for those who wish to participate in the NADAC VT Program and possibly earn official Qualifying Scores for any of the runs this weekend.
Description of Classes For those not familiar with the names of NADAC classes, here is a brief description including the obstacles used on each course: Regular Jumpers Chances Tunnelers Touch N Go Weavers This is the standard agility course featuring a full assortment of NADAC agility obstacles, including the following: Jumps, Tunnels, A-Frame, Dog Walk, Weave Poles, Hoops, and possibly a Barrel. This course focuses primarily on Jumps. Typically, the course will ONLY have jumps. Sometimes there may be a tunnel on the course. This course is typically shorter than a Regular course, but can include the full assortment of obstacles found on a Regular course. There will be a line on the ground representing a distance challenge. Since this is a Fun Match, you can always choose to ignore the line and simply have fun on the course! Sometimes called the drag racing of dog agility, and always a favorite for the dogs. The course will consist of ONLY Tunnels, which tends to make the dogs VERY happy! This course has a focus on the contact obstacles: A-Frame and Dog Walk. Tunnels and Hoops will also be on the course to complete the path (and possibly a Barrel). Thanks!!! WAG FACILITY RULES All exhibitors are subject to ejection for failure to comply. 1. Respect all the grounds - pick up after your dog at all times- everywhere on the property. Please pick up all your trash and dispose of properly. Do not allow your dogs to urinate anywhere on the buildings, garbage cans, or planters. 2. Obey all speed and parking signs. Driveway speed is 5MPH and will be enforced. 3. Be aware of your dog and your immediate surroundings. Dog aggression will not be tolerated. No dog may be left tied up unattended - at any time. 4. Respect the agility equipment and all of the facility buildings. Do not use equipment not in use by club. 5. If there are problems/issues with the facility, please inform a club member and/or the facility owners. 6. All children must be supervised at all times. 3
Entry Rules Exhibitors, through submission of entry, acknowledge the following: This Fun Match is open to all dogs of at least 12 months of age, including mixed breeds. Being a Fun Match food, toys, and other training aids or devices will be allowed on the course. Outside of the ring, please try to keep food at least10 feet away from the ring. Please, no squeaky toys while someone else is in the ring with their dog! Bitches in heat, lame or blind dogs are ineligible for entry, as is any dog with an injury that prevents the dog s ability to function and perform agility obstacles safely, and in a manner that is in the best interest, health and welfare of the dog. Any dog which demonstrates aggression towards any person or any dog, whether inside the ring or outside the ring, must be excused from the agility trial. Safety must always be of primary consideration in your actions and conduct. You alone are responsible for the behavior of your dogs and children. If your dogs or children create unnecessary disturbances or repeatedly engage in unsafe or disruptive behavior, the show committee can ask you to leave the show site. In such case, we will not refund any fees. Running order will be determined at the clubs discretion. Handlers with more than one dog in a class will be separated. Check-in and Start Times we will e-mail confirmations prior to the trial; these will include check-in time, start time, and running order information (subject to change). AGREEMENT The person who signs this agreement represent that he/she is authorized to enter into this agreement on behalf of both exhibitor and the owner of entered dog. In consideration of acceptance of this entry: 1.1. Exhibitor / Owner, agree to abide by the rules and regulations appearing in the premium for this event. 1.2. Exhibitor / Owner certify that the entered dog is not a hazard to persons, dogs, or property and that the entered dog s rabies vaccination is current on accordance with the requirement of the state in which the dog resides. 1.3. Exhibitor / Owner acknowledge all hazards presented by the event and the event premises, including but not limited to, the condition of the floors, stairways, halls, lighting, security measures or lack of, electrical appliances, fittings, show rings, parking areas and the presence of unfamiliar animals and people. Exhibitor and owner assume the risk of any harm arising from these. 1.4. Exhibitor / Owner releases Haute Dawgs Agility Club (Haute Dawgs) its officers, directors, and members and event organizing committee and will defend them and hold them harmless from all present and future loss, injury, damage, claims, demands and liabilities involving the entered dog, the event or event premises. Without limiting the generality of the foregoing hold harmless provisions, exhibitor / owner hereby specifically assumes sole responsibility for and agrees to indemnify and save aforementioned parties harmless from any and all loss and expenses (including legal fees) by reason of the liability imposed by law upon any of the aforementioned parties for damages because of bodily injuries, including death, at any time inconsequence of my (our) participation in this event, howsoever such injury, or death may be caused, and whether or not the same may have been caused or may have been alleged to have been caused by negligence of the aforementioned parties or any of their employees or agents or any other persons. No entry fee will be refunded if the fun match cannot open or be completed by reasons of riots, civil disturbances, fire, acts of God, public emergency, an act of a public enemy or any other cause beyond the control of the organizing committee. After the closing date, NO entry fees will be refunded for dogs pulled from the trial - except for bitches that come into season by Thursday of the trial week in which case 50% of the entry fees paid will be returned.
