First and foremost, this is a no-stress opportunity to come out and play agility with your dog in a fun and supportive environment. Dogs and handlers of all skill levels are happily welcome! Food treats, toys, and any other (safe) training devices can be used in the ring. You will have a set amount of time on each course to train, practice, and simply have fun with your dog! There are no judges or scorekeepers, so the main goal is to HAVE FUN! All 14 courses being set during the weekend will be based on official NADAC VT course maps. As such, if you wish to film a video of your 1 st run on a given course, you can choose to submit it to NADAC and earn a Qualifying Score if the run is clean this is an opportunity to possibly earn up to 14 Qualifying Scores! Full details of the NADAC VT Program can be found on the NADAC website; however, the Fun Match Committee will provide an overview of the program during the morning briefings, and will be happy to assist and answer any questions you may have. We will also provide a handout that will describe in more detail how to submit a VT run for a possible Qualifying Score. Remember, you do not have to film or send in any of your runs during this Fun Match. This is just an option available for those who wish to participate in the NADAC VT Program and possibly earn official Qualifying Scores for any of the runs this weekend.

Description of Classes For those not familiar with the names of NADAC classes, here is a brief description including the obstacles used on each course: Regular Jumpers Chances Tunnelers Touch N Go Weavers This is the standard agility course featuring a full assortment of NADAC agility obstacles, including the following: Jumps, Tunnels, A-Frame, Dog Walk, Weave Poles, Hoops, and possibly a Barrel. This course focuses primarily on Jumps. Typically, the course will ONLY have jumps. Sometimes there may be a tunnel on the course. This course is typically shorter than a Regular course, but can include the full assortment of obstacles found on a Regular course. There will be a line on the ground representing a distance challenge. Since this is a Fun Match, you can always choose to ignore the line and simply have fun on the course! Sometimes called the drag racing of dog agility, and always a favorite for the dogs. The course will consist of ONLY Tunnels, which tends to make the dogs VERY happy! This course has a focus on the contact obstacles: A-Frame and Dog Walk. Tunnels and Hoops will also be on the course to complete the path (and possibly a Barrel).
