SHOW REGULATIONS 1. The show will be held under the Licence, Rules and Regulations of the Irish Kennel Club Ltd. 2. The Show will be held at Streamstown, Malahide, Co. Dublin. The Show opens at 8.00 am. Judging starts at 9.00 am sharp. Judges Briefing at 8.45 am. The proposed running order of classes will be in numerical order. 3. Entry fees are Euro 5 (Sterling 4.00) per dog per class. Cheques etc. to be made payable to Diana Collie. 4. Entries close on TUESDAY 7 th AUGUST, 2018 - no late entries under any circumstances. 5. Fingal Dog Club reserves the right to refuse any entry. 6. Dogs under 18 months of age are not eligible to enter. 7. All dogs must be registered or transferred with the I.K.C. Ltd., save in the case of greyhounds duly registered with the Irish Coursing Club. 8. All wins prior to the day specified for the closing of entries shall be taken into account when entering any class. 9. A Running Order will be displayed at the ringside. Please check your Running Order in advance. 10. It is the COMPETITORS RESPONSIBILITY to be available for their class in their CORRECT RUNNING ORDER. 11. Food shall not be given or carried in the ring. 12. Any article carried by the handler is subject to the judge s discretion, but must be indicated to the judge prior to commencement of the test. 13. Handlers will be permitted to walk the courses before judging commences. 14. No practise will be allowed on the agility equipment in the competition ring prior to competition. Failure to comply with this rule will lead to automatic disqualification. 15. Fingal Dog Club will not be responsible for any loss or damage sustained through accidents by exhibits, exhibitors or other persons attending the show. 16. Dogs must be kept under proper control at all times, as there may be livestock in adjoining fields! 17. Exhibitors must clean up if their dogs foul the grounds. Suitable facilities will be provided for this. 18. No bitches in season are allowed on the showgrounds. 19. The mating of bitches within the precinct of the showground is forbidden. 20. The Committee reserves the right to appoint a substitute Judge if circumstances prevent an appointed Judge from fulfilling the appointment. 21. Should circumstances so dictate the Committee, in consultation with the Judge may alter arrangements as necessary. 22. Height of Jumps as per Irish Kennel Club Rules & Regulations.
AGILITY CLASS DEFINITIONS Agility classes will include contact obstacles and jumping classes will have no contact obstacles. With these provisos the grades and classes are as follows:- Grade 1 Grade 2 Grade 3 Grade 4 Grade 5 Grade 6 Grade7 For handlers or dogs which have not gained a first place in an Agility Class or three first places in Jumping Classes at IKC licensed Agility Shows. N.B. Owners, handlers or dogs previously qualified out of Grade 1 are not eligible for this class For handlers or dogs which have qualified out of Grade 1 but have not gained a first place in an Agility Class or three first places in Jumping Classes at Grade 2 at IKC licensed Agility Shows, or elected to progress on points from Grade 1. N.B. Owners, handlers or dogs previously qualified out of Grade 1 are not eligible for this class Open to dogs which are not eligible for Grade 1 or 2 or have elected to progress on points from Grade 2 at IKC licensed Agility Shows and dogs which are not eligible for Grade 4,5,6, or 7. Open to dogs which have gained a first place in an Agility Class or three first places in Jumping Classes at Grade 3 or elected to progress on points from Grade 3 at IKC licensed Agility Shows and dogs which are not eligible for Grade 3, 5,6 or 7.
