Like it used to be when friends just got together to run their dogs. For example, Retro Trial: This trial is limited to 350 runs per day with jumps, 500 runs total Closing Date: July 20, 2018 or when limit is met there will be relaxed run orders; If you are ready, you are next. Did you ever think I should have done it this way instead? Now you can! We will run the NADAC Double Run format any class run twice will be the same course. We assume all will help in whatever way they can. See an empty chair in the ring? Sit in it and set bars when needed. A course build is in progress go out and help move equipment. In appreciation of your efforts, WHAT will organize a BBQ lunch both days, provide Hamburgers and Hotdogs. If you prefer something different for the grill, bring it and the grill master will put it on the BBQ. BBQ SHOW COMMITTEE Trial Chair: Deb Bruner email: trialchair@whatagility.org Trial Secretary: Alecia Elvstad email: trialsecretary@whatagility.org, ph: (360) 927-7621 Chief Course Builder: Stefan Elvstad CHECK-IN and START TIMES FRIDAY: Briefing & Walk-throughs start at 5:00pm FIRST DOG ON THE LINE AT 5:30pm 1

SATURDAY & SUNDAY: Briefing & Walk-throughs start at 8:00am FIRST DOG ON THE LINE AT 8:30am SITE INFORMATION: We will be running 1 ring, 100x100, outdoors on grass. There is plenty of room for shade tents. TENTATIVE RUN ORDER, listed on page 1 may be changed at judge s discretion Classes run Elite-Open-Novice-Intro (EONI). Classes with jumps will run Small to Tall Saturday, Tall-Small Sunday. VOLUNTEERING: A trial is a community effort, so we know everyone will step in and do what is needed. And remember if you promise to help, we will feed you at the BBQ. AWARDS: First through Fourth place ribbons will be awarded for each jump height in Intro, Novice, Open and Elite levels. Proficient and Skilled categories will be combined for placement purposes. Qualifying ribbons will be awarded for each qualifying run. There are no placements for Chances - only qualifiers. INTRO LEVEL: "Intro" is a level for the classes, just like Novice, Open and Elite. So now there are four levels to each class: Intro, Novice, Open and Elite. The only Intro level class with weaves will be Intro Weavers and it will have one set of 6 poles. No other classes will have weaves. The Intro level will have no tunnel/contact discriminations. The Intro level is a full titling level with the basic titles at 30 points, Outstanding Performance at 60 points and Superior Performance at 100 points for Chances, Jumpers, Tunnelers, Weavers, Hoopers, Touch N Go, and Barrelers. For Regular the basic title is at 30 points, Outstanding Performance is at 100 points and Superior Performance is at 200 points. Note that the Intro level is entirely optional. There is no requirement that a dog must start at the intro level. Dogs must be 18 months old and all other NADAC rules apply to entries. Double Run: This trial uses the NADAC Double Run. Any class with two rounds on the same day will be run on the same course. There will be one walk-through before round 1. There will be no walk-through for round 2. Round 2 starts immediately after round 1 is completed. In order to accommodate volunteering, we may allow a handler to run both his/her runs during either round 1 or round 2. MOVE UPS: We will accept move-ups or changes in writing only (email ok) to your entry received by 5:00 PM on July 23, 2018. Move-ups from Saturday to Sunday will be accepted if you inform the trial secretary on Saturday. AFTER CLOSING ENTRIES: If we do not reach our limit, we may offer after closing entries. The cost will be $14 per run with no package deals allowed. REFUNDS: A 100% refund will be given for any requests for withdrawals received prior to the Closing Date, July 20, 2018. A 75% refund will be given for bitches in heat, injured or ill dogs (with verification from a vet upon request), injured handlers (with verification from a doctor upon request) or family emergency. There shall be no other refunds (other than those listed above) for entries withdrawn after the closing date or in the event a dog and/or handler are dismissed from competition. 2

DOG REGISTRATION NUMBERS: You will need to register your dog(s) with NADAC. Dogs can be registered on-line at the NADAC web site at www.nadac.com (click on Exhibitor Resources on the Home Page and then on Dog Registration ). EQUIPMENT: All equipment meets NADAC standards. NADAC TREATS RULE NADAC allows handler to carry treats or a small toy during a run if the treats/toy are secured in a sealed container that is not visible to the dog, the judge or other exhibitors. The toy/treats must remain secured and concealed while within 10 feet of the ring. CONTAINERIZED TRIAL All food and toys must be contained at the trial and none left lying about loose. This includes crating areas. This policy has been implemented to reduce the possibility of dogs fighting over loose food or toys, diminish dogs rushing with their handlers back to their reward, and to lessen the amount of insects around loose food.
