Entry fee and Entry form must accompany mailed entrys or entry will be considered late. E-mail entries may pay at the show, but if an E-MAIL entry is sent in then entry fees must also be paid. The Show room will be open for setup from 3-7PM and exhibitors are welcome to setup their animals as soon as the show crew completes the show room set-up. Show room will open at 6:00 a.m. Saturday 18 February. Showing will start promptly at 8:00 a. m. Show room opens at 7:00 a.m. on Sunday 19 February. Showing will start promptly at 8:00 a.m. Meat Pen Throw Down Rules 1) All ARBA Meat Pen rules shall be followed including, but not limited a) Pens must weigh between 3.5-5.5 pounds on day of show and will be weighed by the judge or in the presence of the judge b) Pens must consist of the same breed and variety (i. e., three brokens may show but all three must be broken black) c) Pens shall be judged on meat type, condition, uniformity, and fur d) All breed disqualifications shall apply 2) Any breed may compete so long as it meets the ARBA Meat Pen rules. 3) Entry fee is $6 per pen 4) Open and Youth shall compete together 5) Payback shall be 25% of entries for first, 15% of entries for second, 10% of entries for third. There shall also be a special award for a Non-Big-3 meat pen. This award is for the highest placing pen of rabbits that is not a Californian, New Zealand, or Satin pen. Should a Non-Big-3 pen win the Throw Down, this special award will then be given to the best Californian, New Zealand, or Satin pen. IMPORTANT NOTE: YOUTH WILL NOT BE ABLE TO ENTER THE SAME ANIMAL IN BOTH THE YOUTH AND OPEN SHOWS ON THE SAME DAY. So, Kelli cannot enter Heather the Black, Mini Satin, Sr. Doe in Both Open Show A and Youth Show A. Kelli CAN enter Heather in both Youth Show A & Youth Show B. Kelli CAN enter Heather in Open Show A and Youth Show B.

LCRBA Show Rules These shows will be governed by the latest rules of the ARBA. Your entry indicates your acceptance of these rules. 2. The show room will open at 6:00 a.m. on Saturday 18 February and 7:00 a.m. on Sunday 19 February. 3. Judging will begin promptly @ 8:00 both days. 4. All Rabbits will be judged as entered on your entry form. Check your exhibitor sheet carefully. 5. All rabbits shall have a permanent and legible ear tattoo. 6. This is a carrying cage show. Leak proof bottoms are required, and cages should contain a water source and a feed source. All animals must be healthy and in proper sized transport cages to ensure the animals well-being. 7. Out of consideration for the Judges and the clerks, please trim your animal s toenails. 8. LCRBA reserves the right to add, substitute or change judges. 9. Judges decisions will be final. Interfering with the judges will not be tolerated. The final interpretation of the show rules is the responsibility of the show committee. Breeders are encouraged to volunteer as table help for judging of their breeds. Other than the Judge and table help nobody else will be allowed behind the table other than to load or remove animals for or from judging. 10. Each exhibitor will be responsible for getting their animals to and from the tables when they are called. No classes will be re-judged. 11. All animals are entered at the sole risk of their owner. Every safeguard will be taken to safeguard and minimize hazards, losses and mistakes. Neither LCRBA show personnel, judges, nor the Clatsop County Fairgrounds will be responsible for any injury suffered by exhibitors, their guests, spectators or animals. 12. Legs and Show reports will be mailed or emailed at the discretion of the LCRBA. All awards must be picked up at the show, they will not be mailed at the cost of the host clubs. 13. Under age animals are not allowed in the show room. Animals not entered in the show are allowed in the showroom on a space available basis only. All animals must meet the minimum weight of their specific breed please leave those babies at home. 14. No animal other than rabbits and cavies are allowed in the show room without prior approval of the show superintendent. 15. Parents are responsible for the actions of their children or youth transported by them, and are liable for any damages caused by them. Please keep your children inside the showroom and under control at all times. 16. ARBA show rule Sec. 51. Youth may not enter their rabbit or cavy in both Open and Youth classes in the same show, which is sponsored by the same club. Youth may make entries in both open and youth classes with different animals. (A) When more than one ARBA sanctioned all breed or specialty show, not having a youth sanction, are held in conjunction on the same day, youth exhibitors may enter all additional shows with the same animals. This means that a youth exhibitor can enter both of the open Shows on Saturday, and both of the Youth Shows on Sunday. Or a mix of A, B, C, D. A Youth rabbit may not show in both Open A & Youth A. 17. ARBA Show Rule Sec. 52. Youth exhibitors may enter sanctioned youth shows between the ages of five (5) and eighteen (18) years. An adult cannot show in youth classes at any time. Youth exhibitors must be able to handle their own animals. If stated in the show catalog, all youth entries must be carried by youth. Youth exhibitors are not required to carry their on animals to the table. 18. Any issue arising that cannot be resolved by reference to the above rules shall be decided by the official show committee, whose decision shall be final. 19. Fur Best In Show Rules: 1) All breeds are eligible. 2) Best Fur In Breed to be decided by breed judge out of the rabbits entered in Fur as an additional entry. 3) Open and youth compete together. 4) Will be judged for Show C on Sunday, only Fur entries in that show are eligible. 5) This is a special extra class and has a $2 entry fee. The registration fee is $6.00 Special Announcement!! There will be a raffle! So, feel free to bring something fun! We love your donations and they help us to pay for fun awards, please consider bringing an item (or ten) to donate. We know how much fun it is to camp at the rabbit show; set up your table and chairs and spread those rabbits out. However, we need to leave space for all of the breeders who are showing, so please be considerate of those around you. Tidy your space, try to only bring one chair per two people, stack your cages and supplies, make AISLES so we can all walk through the building. Offenders to these neighborly rules may have chairs confiscated until the show ends.
