Make check payable to PARKERSBURG OBEDIENCE TRAINING CLUB, INC. (POTC). All entry fees must be made payable in US funds. POSTDATED OR RETURNED CHECKS do not constitute a valid entry fee. The Trial Secretary will add a collection fee to the amount of each returned check. ENTRY FORM MUST BE SIGNED at the bottom, by the owner or the owner s duly authorized agent, otherwise the entry cannot be accepted. Telegraph or telephone entries cannot be accepted. Entries not on official AKC entry forms or photocopies of entry forms without the Agreement and Rules on the reverse side of the official AKC entry form will not be accepted. A $3 AKC Event Service Fee per obedience class entered plus $.50 AKC recording fee per dog; or a $3 AKC recording fee per class entered for Rally will be required for each dog entered at any licensed or member club show, obedience trial, rally trial, or tracking test. This fee is collected by the show giving club and paid to the American Kennel Club. ENTRY FEES shall not be refunded in the event the dog is absent, disqualified, excused by the veterinarian or judge, or barred from competition by action of the Trial Committee. NO ENTRY FEES WILL BE REFUNDED if the show cannot open or be completed by reason of riots, civil disturbances, act of God, public emergency, act of a public enemy, strikes, or any other cause beyond the control of the management. OWNERS ARE RESPONSIBLE for errors in making out the entry forms, whoever may make such errors and no entry fee will be refunded in event of such errors or cancellation of entries after the published closing date. NO ENTRY SHALL BE MADE and no entry shall be accepted which specifies any condition as to its acceptance. THE TRIAL GIVING CLUB, THE TRIAL SECRETARY, their agents and employees, etc., assume no responsibility for any loss, damage, or injury sustained by exhibitors, handler, or to any of their dogs or property and further assume no responsibility for injury to children not under the control of their parents or guardians. ACKNOWLEDGEMENT OF ENTRIES and a judging program will be made as soon as possible after entries close. Should such an acknowledgement not be received within a reasonable time, please notify the Trial Secretary. BITCHES WHO COME IN SEASON after the closing date may have their entry fees refunded less $6.00 per class entered upon written certification by a veterinarian. Notification must be made to the Trial Secretary no later than 8:00 am the day of the Trial. WHEN THE SAME DOG IS ENTERED in more than one class, only the highest score will be used for the top awards in Trial and top awards of a breed. ALL AWARDS MUST BE CLAIMED at the trial or they become the property of the Parkersburg Obedience Training Club Inc. None will be mailed. ALL DOGS PRESENT MUST BE HELD ON LEASH or confined to their crates except when being judged. Dogs may arrive any time prior to their scheduled time of judging. DOGS NOT REQUIRED FOR FURTHER JUDGING will be excused. Judges are not required to wait for dogs. They will adhere as closely as possible to the judging schedule. Although no pre-registration is required, we request that you please contact Jennifer Goudy prior to the show weekend, if you are interested so that we can plan staffing appropriately. Stay on this street (Pike that becomes Green) to front street. (Hotel Lafayette is on the corner). Turn right and continue on front street until you come to the Washington County Fairgrounds.
