Find a Judge Welcome to Find a Judge. This user guide has been designed to take you through the various tools available on the newly enhanced Find a Judge Service and to explain the context of the information displayed. Find a Judge features Breed Judges and Challenge Certificate, Group and Best in Show appointments that meet the following criteria: A Judge will have completed their first appointment for each relevant breed. If a judge has been approved for a first time appointment, their name will not appear on Find a Judge for that breed until that appointment has been completed. Only records for active Judges are included. If it appears that a judge has moved or is no longer contactable, they may have been recorded as Gone Away and as such, be taken off Find a Judge. Judges that have passed away or have retired are not displayed on Find a Judge. Future appointments for previously approved Judges will be displayed once approved by the General Committee. New for 2015, Find a Judge now displays entry statistics for Breed appointments. The statistics represent the number of dogs entered and do not take into account absentees. The entry statistics are supplied by the Show Societies following the show and as far as possible uploaded to the website within 6 weeks of the show date. Entry statistics are only held for Breed appointments; Group, Sub-Group or Best in Show appointments will have no entry statistics record and will therefore display a? symbol. Where an entry statistic is missing, a? symbol will be displayed. When using Find a Judge, if you note any of the following issues, please contact the Kennel Club at cat@thekennelclub.org.uk: A judge is displayed who is deceased or has retired. An appointment has been listed under the wrong judge. An approved appointment is missing from a Judge s record. The entry statistic is missing or incorrect. Throughout Find a Judge, these symbols are used to represent Dog or Bitch appointments; where the appointment is for Dog and Bitch this symbol is used
