CLEAN UP AFTER YOUR DOGS, PLEASE. LOCATION: Alexis Park All Suite Resort is located one mile east of the Strip and two blocks west of Paradise Road on Harmon Avenue. Directions from McCarran International Airport: Head North on Swenson Street. Turn left onto East Harmon Avenue. Resort will be on the left. Directions from the Strip: Resort is located one mile east of the Strip on Harmon Avenue. Harmon Avenue is located just south of Planet Hollywood. Take Harmon Avenue east and Resort will be on the right. ALEXIS RESORT/HOTEL SHUTTLE: Complimentary airport/hotel shuttle (702-796-3300). Please call the hotel AFTER landing for pick-up. The Hotel Shuttle will ONLY pick-up from Terminal #1. Tell Operator that you are requesting pick up at Terminal #1. Based upon availability, the shuttle will be provided 7 days a week from 7AM-10:30PM. For Terminal #1 (Southwest, Spirit, Delta, Allegiant, American Airlines), the shuttle will pick-up and drop-off at the zero level of baggage claim. Terminal #3 (All international carriers, plus Alaska, United, Jet Blue, Hawaiian, Frontier, Virgin America, Sun Country): The Hotel Shuttle cannot pick-up from Terminal #3. If you arrive at Terminal #3, a Courtesy Inter-Terminal Shuttle service is available to transport you between Terminal #1 and Terminal #3. The Inter-Terminal shuttle bus stop is located on Level Zero in the center of the curb. Just look for the McCarran logo and soon you ll be on your way. RV DRY CAMPING AT ALEXIS PARK RESORT RV parking is adjacent to the Alexis Park Resort. Daily Parking (Stay) Rate of $100.00/night (if reserved by September 28, 2016; $120/night if unreserved), including power. RV guests are required to check in at front desk immediately after parking their RV. Guests will sign a parking instruction sheet, liability waiver and be given a special parking pass/flyer along with limited type of hotel guest room key which will provide access to the Hotel s facilities. This key will grant you access to all resort facilities including the Resort Fitness Center which has full service locker rooms available for showering and restroom use. RV will be parked on dirt. Bring ground cover. Water and dump facilities are not available on the site; please plan accordingly. Arrangements will be made for a provider to dump black/gray water and provide fresh water fill, provided there is enough interest. There will be a cost for this separate from the parking fee. Include a self-addressed envelope with your parking reservation form (located on website) to receive your confirmation and directions to the RV parking area. We ask that an Emergency Contact Number be posted on your dashboard in case of an emergency. Any generators used to power the RV s would be required to be turned off nightly by 11:00 PM and turned back on after 7:00 AM each day of stay due to noise in compliance with Las Vegas noise ordinance. 6 2016 French Bulldog National Specialty

JUDGES EDUCATION AND WORKSHOP Judges Education Seminar and Workshop will be held on Wednesday, October 19, 2016, from 2pm to 5pm. The cost for the event is $25.00. NATIONAL JUNIOR SHOWMANSHIP COMPETITION NOVICE CLASS: For boys and girls who are at least 9 years old and under 18 years old on the day of the show and who at the time entries close have not won three (3) first place awards, with competition present, in a Novice Class. A first place in Novice without competition leading to a Best Junior award with competition would count as one win towards moving to Open at a licensed or member show. OPEN CLASS: For boys and girls who are at least 9 years old and under 18 years old on the day of the show, and who have won three first place awards in a Novice Class or if a win in Novice leads to a Best Junior with competition present it will count as one win towards moving to Open in a licensed or member show. Juniors which according to their records have completed the requirements to compete in the Open class but whose status is unconfirmed by the American Kennel Club are limited to competing in the Open Class for a period of 90 days from the date of the show where the Junior completed the requirements according to their records. MASTER CLASS: This class will be for boys and girls who are at least 9 years old and under 18 years on the day of the show, and who have 10 Best Junior wins with competition. The calendar for this class will be consistent with the eligibility dates for the AKC National Championship. All Juniors meeting the criteria for this class are required to enter the Master Class and may change their entry the day of the show if entries have already closed. Once the eligibility time frame for that year has passed all participants return to the Open Class to compete for the following year. All dogs that are owner-handled and are not owned or exhibited by professional handlers* meet the requirements for this competition. Exhibitors must declare their dog is Owner-Handled eligible at the time of entry using the check box on the entry form. Eligible dogs will be identified by an asterisk in the judge s books, steward s book & the catalog. Dogs must be handled by an owner/handler eligible for the AKC National Owner-Handled Series throughout the breed level competition for the point show. This includes the class competition and subsequent competition in the breed ring. Additionally, dogs must be handled by an eligible owner/handler for all AKC National Owner-Handled Series competition. If the replacement handler is an eligible owner/handler for that dog a change can occur. French Bull Dog Club of America Special Attraction: BREEDERS CLASS Judge: Donna Stoffer Friday, October 21, 2016 Following Judging of the National Specialty Classes The Breeders Class is an AKC Special Attraction established to showcase successful breeders, and is offered only at independent specialty shows. This event is unique in that the entry must be made by the Breeder or Co -Breeder. The basis for the judging in this class is the consistency and supe rior quality of the breeder s entry, a group of from 3 to 5 dogs per unit. It will be judged as the very last event of the National Specialty, following non-regular classes. Entry Fee: $25.00 per unit. Mail payment for this with the Breeders Class Entry Form. Eligibility & Instructions 1. AII dogs MUST be entered in another regular or non-regular class in the 2016 National Specialty. This will be verified. Entries for other Regular & Non-Regular classes at the Specialty should be made on Official AKC Entry form. Dogs who are entered in the unit but who are NOT entered in another regular or non-regular class at this show will prevent the entire UNIT from being shown. 2. Neutered and Spayed French Bulldogs ARE eligible to be entered in this unit, but must then be entered in the Specialty in the only other classes that permit this (Veteran, Stud Dog & Brood Bitch). 3. All dogs presented will be judged by the AKC Breed Standard for French Bulldogs. 4. Each dog entered in the unit must have its own handler, who may, but need not, be the owner of the dog. 5. Dogs may be entered in ONE unit only. 6. The Breeder must be present to accept an award but is not required to handle any entrant. 7. The 3-5 French Bulldogs comprising each entry must have ONE breed er or co-breeder in common for each dog entered in the unit. 8. Unit entries must be made on the Breeders Class Entry Form. 9. The unit must represent dogs produced by at least two different combinations of parents, and no more than two dogs from a given combina tion of parents shall have identical parentage; i.e., no three dogs shall be full siblings. 10. BREEDERS CLASS AGREEMENT I (we) agree that the club holding this event has the right to refuse this entry for cause which the club shall deem sufficient. In consideration of the acceptance of this entry and of the holding of this event and of the opportunity to have the dog judged and to win prizes, ribbons, or trophies, I (we) agree to hold the AKC, the event-giving club, their members, direc tors, governors, officers, agents, superintendents or event secretary and the owner and/or lessor of the premises and any provider of services that are necessary to hold this event and any employees or volunteers of the aforementioned parties, and any AKC approved judge, judging at this event, harmless from any claim for loss or injury which may be alleged to have been caused directly or indirectly to any person or thing by the act of this dog while in or about the event premises or grounds or near any entrance thereto, and I (we) personally assume all responsibility and liability for any such claim;and I (we) further agree to hold the aforementioned parties harmless from any claim for loss, injury or damage to this dog. Dogs need be present only for scheduled judging and will be released if not needed for further judging. Dogs must be ready for judging. Neither the Clubs nor its Superintendent/Show Secretary will be responsible or obligated to furnish any service for notifying exhibitors or their agents of Breed or Class Judging. Judges need not wait for any dog holding up a class. Owners or agents alone are responsible for the presence of their dogs in the judging rings. Only dogs eligible for these shows will be admitted into the show area. There is no provision for unentered dogs. LOSS OR DAMAGE The Show Committee will use due care and diligence for the welfare of dogs and exhibitors, but will not be responsible for, or assume any liability in the event of any accident or misfortune, to either dogs or exhibitors participating in these Shows. The welfare of an Exhibitor s child is assumed to be the responsibility of the Exhibitor. It is distinctly understood that Exhibitors will exercise control and restraint over their children. Exhibitors should follow their veterinarians recommendation to assure their dogs are free of internal and external parasites, any communicable diseases, and have appropriate vaccinations. ALL RIGHTS TO TELEVISE, VIDEOTAPE, ADVERTISE, PHOTOGRAPH, PROMOTE or otherwise exploit this event are vested in the Clubs, or in persons to whom assignments of such rights have been made in writing by the Clubs. All persons and animals on the Show Grounds at any time while the show is in progress, do by attending this show or participating therein, grant to the Clubs the right to photograph, televise, videotape, audiotape or otherwise use their likeness and voice in any manner without further release or consent.
