Cavaliers of the Midwest 07/28/12, Louisville, KY Judge: Di Fry (Amantra) It was a pleasure to judge for Cavaliers of the Midwest. All exhibitors were very charming and pleasant. The hospitality given by the club was second to none and very enjoyable. The quality of the dogs and the presentation of them were superb. Junior Puppy Dog (8) 1. Chewcreek Three Amigos Dusty Bottoms (DePhillip) 6 month old, compact well balanced Blenheim. Typical head, dark eyes, lovely pigment, level topline, correct tail placement and although a small dog he has good bone. 2. Jayba Easy Does It (Lander) Heavier marked attractive Blenheim again only 6 months old. Super head, dark eyes and pigment most lovely expression. Good outline and tail, moved well, slightly longer in body. 3. Darane Suddenly Seymour (Kates) Very cute 5 month old Blenheim. Short coupled and nice lay of shoulder. Sweet puppy head with dark eyes and pigment. Moved okay. 4. Charnell Tomfoolery (Gentil) 6 month old well marked tri. Very immature. He is a nice shape with level topline and tail. He shows a little white of eye and would like a slightly longer muzzle. But showed well. Senior Puppy Dog (8) 1. Canyoncrest Pleasingly Pumpkin (DuRoss) Very nice compact 10 month Blenheim. Appealing head with dark eyes and pigment. Lovely size with super reach of neck and lay of shoulder. He has very good bone and showed with outgoing temperament. Best Puppy Dog 2. Clarmarian Kiss and Cry (Young-May) 9 month old Blenheim with good markings. He is correct size with good bone. Typical head with dark pigment and nice fill to muzzle. He moved very well. 3. Picketfence Moonlight Kiss (Frey) Another youngster with nice head, eyes and muzzle. Excellent neck and shoulders. Strong movement and nice temperament. 4. Clarmarian Classic by Design (Young-May) 9 month old Blenheim with good pigment and dark eyes which I would like to be larger. The markings are very rich and movement okay. Graduate Puppy Dog (9) 1. Pinecrest White Lightning (Eubank) Most lovely Blenheim of correct size and shape. Super head and desired lozenge. Large dark eyes and super pigment. Excellent bone and front assembly. Level topline and good tail placement. 2. Rosehill Cosmic Creation (Ames/Hess) Well made lovely moving dog of 13 months. Nice head, eye and pigment. Good neck and lay of shoulders. Short coupled with super temperament. Gave number one a run for his money. 3. Tassajara Sully Sullenberger (Seidman/Gardner) 13 month old balanced Blenheim with level back and correct tail. Large dark eyes and dark pigment. Moved well. 4. Wellsworth Kiss the Girls (Cameron) Well made rich Blenheim. Well angulated, nice front and bone. Good head, correct muzzle and eye. Novice Dog (1) 1. Lynsfaire Hot Off The Press (Fairchild) 19 month old well broken Blenheim. Nice neck and shoulders. Level topline, correct tail placement. Good head with large dark eyes and pigment. Showed and moved very well. Bred By Exhibitor Dog (7) 1. Canyoncrest Star Blazer, JW (DuRoss) 20 month old short coupled Blenheim. Good reach of neck and well layed shoulders. Lovely head with super expression. He has large round dark eyes and dark pigment. Nice outline and moved well with correct tail. 2. CA Cambridge Dream Weaver (Magera/Mitchell) Eye catching black and tan in super coat and condition. Sweet head and expression and outgoing temperament. Moved very soundly, slightly longer than one but a quality exhibit. Best Black & Tan in Show 3. Excalibur The Heat is On (Arthur) Well broken Blenheim with nice expression, eye and pigment. 3 years old in good condition with moderate bone. 4. Circlecity Walk In The Park (Matters) Another smart heavier marked rich Blenheim. Scored in outline with good bone and movement. Junior American Bred Dog (7) 1. Orchardhill Kid You Not, JW (Venier) Super 14 month old well marked Blenheim in super coat and presentation. Gorgeous head, eye and expression. Dark pigment and correct bite. Very good movement and temperament, considered for high honours. 2. Markley Double Play (Storey) 15 month old lovely Blenheim

with super outline, good reach of neck and shoulder placement. Masculine head with large eyes but showed a little white of eye. Moved well, happy temperament. 3. Jayba Southern Voices at Autumn Hill (Parente/Hayes) 15 month old nicely marked Blenheim. Good ribs and topline. Good head, eye and pigment. Moved well. 4. Denham Dream Boat (Maddox) 13 month old rich ruby in excellent coat and condition. Nice head and ear placement. Level topline, moved well and well trained. Unfortunately carried his tail too high, however, a nice dog. Best Ruby Dog American Bred Dog (9) 1. Redbud Northern Dance (Soctt) 20 month old heavier marked rich Blenheim. With excellent neck and lay back of shoulder. Good bone, level topline. Appealing head, dark eyes and pigment. In excellent condition and good movement with correct temperament. 2. Forestcreek Apollo (Walzer/Cline) Rich Blenheim similar to one but slightly larger. 2 years old with correct head, large round dark eyes, jet pigment and good ear placement. Sound happy mover. 3. Brookhaven Jessie (Ayers/Martz) 2 year old Blenheim very similar to 2 nd with nice head, large dark eyes, pigment and nice expression. Very short coupled. Moved okay. 4. Maeburn Closeburn Mactivash (Fairchild) 3 year old well marked Blenheim slightly larger but with good bone, nice neck and shoulders. Showed well. Health & Conformation Dog (1) 1. Sevenwoods Highfield Dune (Shidler) Although standing alone this 7 year old dog is a credit to his owner. Richly marked and well angulated. Sweet head, dark eyes, nice expression. Happy temperament moved out well but pinned in front. Special Limit Blenheim Dog (10) A very strong class, with good dogs having to go cardless. 1. Aranel Fanatic (Adair) 3 year old very compact Blenheim with excellent neck and shoulders. Super angulation. Masculine head with good ear placement. Dark expressive eyes and dark pigment. Level topline moving and standing and correct tail placement. Moved with drive. Reserve Winners Dog 2. Toraylac Bravado for Kean (Keane) 20 month old richly marked Blenheim. Super head, eye and pigment, nice bite and ear leathers. Very eye catching on the move. 3. Kinvaar s Mile High Club (Harrison) 2 year old nicely marked rich Blenheim. Gentle head with good eye and pigment and desired lozenge. Good bone, outline and movement, slightly larger than above. 4. Jordanic Luigi of Sumara (Gentil) 18 month old well marked Blenheim. Similar remarks as before. Nice head, eyes large and black and good pigment. Very happy temperament and moved accordingly. Special Limit Tricolor Dog (2) 1. Veribas Point Break (Cusick) Almost 3 year old, well marked with rich tan. Short coupled. Good neck and shoulders, nice temperament. Moved well. Best Tricolor in Show 2. Signaturez Chocolate Chunk (Hallock) 2 year old well marked as well. Nice type, correct tan markings, good head and eye. Not so positive in movement. Special Limit Ruby Dog (3) 1. Turretbank Beaujolais (Green) 21 month old well groomed, well schooled boy in super coat and condition, presented to perfection. Good head, nice round black eyes. Good pigment and bite, moved well keeping good outline. (sorry he didn t wait to compete for Best Ruby in show!) 2. Windham Lost Sailor (McCauley/Hashagen) 4 year old very rich colour. Good head, eye and pigment. Correct ear placement, just lost to 1 st on coat. 3. Piedpiper Synchronicity (Miles) 18 month old shown in good condition. Head correct but shows white of eye. Good neck and shoulders. Moved well but carried tail a little too high. Special Limit Black & Tan Dog (4) 1. Darane Smooth Criminal at Nightingale (Mulligan) 2 year old with rich tan markings, nice head, dark eyes and good expression and length of muzzle. In good condition and level topline. Well schooled. 2. Darane Leonardo Da Vinci at Nebyula (Birbeck) Very nice dog with good head, eye and expression. Super coat condition, movement and temperament good. Slightly larger than 1 st. 3. Brookhaven Bob Bailey (Schilling) 3 year old in good coat and condition. Good head, eye and pigment. But for me a little short on leg and topline dips a little behind shoulders. 4. Blackfire Simple Twist of Fate (McLaughlin/Kennedy) 1 year old, nice head and eye and expression. Rich tan markings, moved well but lacking in coat furnishings. Open Dog (7) 1. Ch Bonitos Companeros Halli Galli (Eubank/Kirschbaum/Vorderstrasse/ Morrison) My star of the day, could not take my eyes off of him. 3 year old most lovely well marked Blenheim. Beautiful head with melting expression. Arched neck and good lay back of shoulders. Most perfect size with good bone and front movement.

Moved effortlessly around the ring keeping fabulous topline and tail placement. So well presented wish he were mine. Winners Dog, Best in Show, Best Blenheim in Show 2. Moved very well keeping nice topline. 3. Ch Chadwick Scotch On The Rocks at Hudsonview, JW (Yassky/Glynn) 3 year old well marked Blenheim. Good head and ear placement. Nice eye and expression. Good shape and moved well with happy temperament. 4. Ch Liane s Happy Jack, JW (Westfall) 3 year old richly marked Blenheim. Good head and eye. Correct neck and shoulders. Lovely temperament. Moved okay. Senior Open Dog (1) 1. Margann Archibald Leach (Boos/Susnis) 12 ½ years young. Good head shape, good bite. Nice size in good coat and condition. Moved happily. Junior Puppy Bitch (13) 1. Pinecrest Soul Sister (Eubank) 8 month old super rich Blenheim with lovely head and expression. Dark round eyes, black pigment and correct bite. Moving and standing a clean balanced outline. Excellent movement and tail carriage. Best Puppy Bitch, Best Puppy in Show 2. Darane All About Eve (Kates) 5 ½ month old well broken Blenheim. With feminine head and lovely eyes. Well balanced and moved with correct tail. Well trained and conditioned. 3. Jayba Valentina (Lyman) 8 month old rich Blenheim. Well made with pretty head, eye and pigment. When moving at present is up in the air on back end, but this should settle. 4. Markley Frostbite (Storey) 6 month old lightly marked Blenheim. Sweet head and expression. Vey raw today but moved well. Senior Puppy Bitch (6) 1. Padamere Fiddlestix (Miller) 9 month old well broken Blenheim. Pretty feminine head, black pigment. Super reach of neck, level topline, nice tail carriage. Nice front and movement. 2. Chadwick Paparazzi (Matos) Lovely Blenheim with desired lozenge. Super head and expression, dark round eyes, good pigment and bite. Correct bone. 3. Oggbrae Donna Elvira (Bales) 12 month old Blenheim with nice head and eyes. Pigment needs to improve but good shape and temperament. 4. Brookhaven In The Garden (Ayers/Martz) No comments given. Graduate Puppy Bitch (7) 1. Lovely feminine head with soft dark expressive eyes and good pigment. Nice bone and front. Topline not so good today, needs to tighten behind shoulder. 4. Wellsworth Feast Your Eyes (Wells) 9 month old well broken Blenheim. Nice type, short and compact but needs to firm up in topline. Novice Bitch (3) 1. Darane Jezebel (Kates) 15 month old lovely marked Tri. Good bone, very pretty head and face. Good ear placement and lovely expression. Moved well. 2. Lynsfaire Spread The News (Sams/Fairchild) 20 month old heavier marked Tri. Nice size and type but falls away a little on croup. 3. Closeburn Riverview Roseanna Stuart (Cullen) 20 month old rich Blenheim. Correct head with good ear placement. Moved freely. Bred By Exhibitor Bitch (4) 1. Feminine head with rich tan markings. Moved keeping good outline. 3. Avia Camellia (Poti) 2 years old nice size pretty head. Nice dark eyes. Happy temperament. Moved okay. 4. Piedpiper Queen of Clubs (Saban) 2 year old pretty girl. Sweet head. Correct markings. Happy disposition. Open Bitch (5) A very super class of bitches. 1. Ch Chadwick Embrace, JW (Eckersley) Eye catching Blenheim who caught my eye when entering the ring, was not disappointed on examination on the table. Correct attractive head with large dark round eyes and melting expression. Well coated which made a lovely overall picture. Short well made body with well set tail. All the attributes befitting the breed and in excellent condition. A lesson in presentation to be admired both

She is well angulated, good topline and moved well keeping correct tail. Not quite as mature as 1 st but her day will come. 3. Ch Orchardhill Buy Me A Pony, JW (Venier) 2 ½ year old Tri with good markings. Nice head and expression. Good neck and rib cage. Sound happy mover. 4. Ch Miletree Casiopia, JW (Pickett) 2 ½ years old another top notch richly marked Blenheim. Most lovely type. With sweet feminine head and compact body moved so well. Senior Open Bitch (2) 1. Pinecrest Lawdy Miss Claudie, RE (Barton) 7 year old, lovely type. Sweet head with dark expressive eyes. Lots of coat and well presented. Moved well. 2. Avia Referee s Call (Marler) 8 year old well made bitch. Short and compact, good bone and front. Sweet head and was pleased to see she still had her teeth. Moved okay. Veteran Dog (3) 1. Margann Archibald Leach (Boos/Susnis) Nearly 13 year old Ruby. Nice kind face and temperament. Has all his bits. Happy good movement. 2. Ch Dallarock Spellbound (Eckersley/Geldermann) 10 year old in lovely coat and condition. Good head and outline. Very sound movement. 3. Sevenwoods Highfield Dune (Shidler) 7 year old very rich sound and happy dog with all breed requirements. Veteran Bitch (2) 1.
