sire, adding 4 of the above to a total that n ow reaches 16 champion offspring, in addition to 7 others that have earned titles in other countries. "Viking", incidently, accounted for no less than 62 out of the 96 major awards offered in the breed in 1966 (the 48 CCs and 48 Reserve CCs offered). To quote a comment in one of these papers... "What an impact on the breed this great sire has made". Bob Marshall, our EASTERN NEWS correspondent, also sent coverage of the above-mentioned Florida Specialty, and mentions finding a copy of Kurt Unkelbach's latest Book, The Winning of Westminster (Prentice Hall, Englewood Cliffs, N.J.) under the Christmas Tree, saying, "it is a most humorous and enjoyable spoof of the most hallowed of shows and the wackiest of people... doggie people, that is. It was good company on the cold winter nights of the no-show weekends during the holidays". ~atadan SCOTTISH TERRIERS The "Top Ten" Scots in Breed Competition (Knight System) through Nov. 6, 1966: 1-Ch.
