Specialty Events October 20, 21 & 22, 2011 A ramp may be used at the discretion of the Judge NOTICE TO EXHIBITORS If, because of riots, civil disturbances or other acts beyond the control of the management, it is impossible to open or to complete the show, no refund of entry fee will be made. A recording fee of.50 cents and a Event Service Fee of $3.00 will be required for each dog entered at any licensed or member club show, obedience trial or tracking test. This recording fee is to be collected by the showgiving club and paid to the American Kennel Club. If a dog is entered in more than one class in the show, the recording fee is to be collected on the first entry only. (AKC Rule, Chapter 14, Sec. 2). Trophies must be claimed the day of the show or be forfeited. No entry shall be made and no entry accepted which specifies any condition as to its acceptance. Telephone and Telegraph entries cannot be accepted. Entries must be submitted on an American Kennel Club Official Entry Form or exact copy (both front & back) and must be signed. Owners are responsible for errors on entry blanks. The Club and/or its Show Secretary assumes no responsibility for wrong or incomplete information given on the entry blank by the owner or owner's Agent entering a dog or a class for which the dog is not eligible to compete. Entry fee shall not be refunded in the event that a dog is absent, disqualified, excused by Veterinarian or Judge or barred from competition by action of Show Committee or because it has been entered incorrectly. No dogs will be allowed in the show area except those regularly entered in the show. Dogs must be ready for Judging: The club and its show secretary will not be responsible and are not obligated to furnish any service for notifying exhibitors or their agents of breed or class judging. The Judges will not wait for any dog holding up a class. This club will not be responsible for the loss of or damage to any dog exhibited, whether the result of accident or other causes. It is distinctly understood that every dog at this show is in the care and custody and control of his owner or handler during the entire time the dog is on the show premises. The club will not be responsible for injury to any person attending this show. A dog which, according to its owners' records, has completed the requirements for a Championship after the closing of entries for the show, but whose Championship is unconfirmed, may be transferred from one of the regular classes to the Best of Breed, provided this transfer is made by the Show Secretary at least one half hour prior to the start of any regular conformation Judging at the show. ADDITIONAL RULES Exhibitors must not wear pins or badges identifying them with any club or organization. Crates and grooming tables will not be allowed within 10 feet of the rings. Dogs may arrive any time prior to their scheduled time of judging. Dogs not required for further judging will be excused. Judges will not wait for any dog holding up a class. Owners or agents alone are responsible for the presence of their dogs in the judging ring when their classes are called to be judged. All dogs present must be held on a leash or confined to their crates except when being judged or when in the exercise ring. Class cash prizes will be paid in the ring to the person showing the dog. Claims for prize money must be made in the ring before the judging of the breed is over and the Show Secretary advised at once. The Show Secretary and show-giving club may disclaim any liability for cash prizes after the judging of breed is over. NO ADULT DOGS OR PUPPIES ARE TO BE SOLD WITHIN THE SHOW SITE. ONLY DOGS THAT ARE ENTERED IN THE SHOW ARE ALLOWED RING SIDE AND WITHIN SHOW SITE. Entries Close Wednesday, October 5, 2011 Page 17

In consideration of the acceptance of this entry and of the holding of this event and of the opportunity to have the dog judged and to win prizes, ribbons, or trophies, I (we) agree to hold the AKC, the event-giving club, their members, directors, governors, officers, agents, superintendents or event secretary and the owner and/or lessor of the premises and any provider of services that are necessary to hold this event and any employees or volunteers of the aforementioned parties, and any AKC approved judge, judging at this event, harmless from any claim for loss or injury which may be alleged to have been caused directly or indirectly to any person or thing by the act of this dog while in or about the event premises or grounds or near any entrance thereto, and I (we) personally assume all responsibility and liability for any such claim; and I (we) further agree to hold the aforementioned parties harmless from any claim for loss, injury or damage to this dog. Additionally, I (we) hereby assume the sole responsibility for and agree to indemnify, defend and save the aforementioned parties harmless from any and all loss and expense (including legal fees) by reason of the liability imposed by law upon any of the aforementioned parties for damage because of bodily injuries, including death at any time resulting therefrom, sustained by any person or persons, including myself (ourselves), or on account of damage to property, arising out of or in consequence of my (our) participation in this event, however such, injuries, death or property damage may be caused, and whether or not the same may have been caused or may be alleged to have been caused by the negligence of the aforementioned parties or any of their employees, agents, or any other persons. I (WE) AGREE THAT ANY CAUSE OF ACTION, CONTROVERSY OR CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THE ENTRY, EXHIBITION OR ATTENDANCE AT THE EVENT BETWEEN THE AKC AND THE EVENT-GIVING CLUB (UNLESS OTHERWISE STATED IN ITS PREMIUM LIST) AND MYSELF (OURSELVES) OR AS TO THE CONSTRUCTION, INTERPRETATION AND EFFECT OF THIS AGREEMENT SHALL BE SETTLED BY ARBITRATION PURSUANT TO THE APPLICABLE RULES OF THE AMERICAN ARBITRATION ASSOCIATION. HOWEVER, PRIOR TO ARBITRATION ALL APPLICABLE AKC BYLAWS, RULES, REGULATIONS AND PROCEDURES MUST FIRST BE FOLLOWED AS SET FORTH IN THE AKC CHARTER AND BYLAWS, RULES, REGULA- TIONS, PUBLISHED POLICIES AND GUIDELINES. INSTRUCTIONS 1. (Variety) if you are entering a dog of breed in which there are varieties for show purposes, please designate the particular variety you are entering, i.e., Cocker Spaniel (solid color black, ASCOB, parti-color), Beagles (not exceeding 13 in., over 13 in. but not exceeding 15 in.), Dachshunds (longhaired, smooth, wirehaired), Collies (rough, smooth), Bull Terriers (colored, white), Manchester Terriers (standard, toy), Chihuahuas (smooth coat, long coat), English Toy Spaniels (King Charles and Ruby, Blenheim and Prince Charles), Poodles (toy, miniature, standard). 2. The following categories of dogs may be entered and shown in Best of Breed competition: Dogs that are Champions of Record and dogs which, according to their owners records, have completed the requirements for a championship, but whose championships are unconfirmed. Whenever it shall be determined that misuse of a hotel / motel room or show site is occurring, the Bench Show Committee shall convene for the express purpose of an on site inspection of the area in question. Misuse of SHOW SITE shall consist of the following but not be limited to: 1. Smoking in non-smoking areas or rooms. 2. Allowing dogs to relieve themselves in areas other than those clearly designated for that purpose. 3. Failure to clean up after your own dog in an area, at any time. 4. All dogs must be crated in rooms. Bathrooms are not considered a crate area and are not to be used to house dogs. At the discretion of the Bench Show Committee and / or house-keeping, rooms may be inspected at any time. In The Event of Any Complaint, should it be determined, by a hearing that destruction and / or misuse of property is in fact occurring, the following steps shall be taken to correct the matter: 1. Monetary restitution shall immediately be made to the hotel / motel by the violator (s). 2. The person, or persons, found in violation of the hotel / motel and AKC / Bulldog Club of Northern California, Inc. rules shall be asked to leave the premises immediately, and; 3.
