The Conformation Show Committee Chair shall promptly report to the CKC any infringement of this regulation, and the Discipline Committee shall have the authority to take such action as it deems fit on receipt of a report indicating that this has occurred. A dog between 12 mths & 18 mths on the day of the show. Canadian Bred..... A dog which is born in Canada Bred by Exhibitor... Dogs owned and handled in the ring by the breeder. The handler must be the owner/co-owner AND breeder/co-breeder of the dog. The owner/breeder must handle the dog in this class, but need not handle the dog for further awards. Open Class.........All dogs. Specials Only....... Dogs who have a recorded CKC registration or Event Registration Number (ERN) and have attained the required points for Championship status. Dogs entered in this class will compete for Best of Breed, Best of Opposite Sex and Best Puppy in Breed if eligible. BEST BRED BY EXHIBITOR COMPETITION SATURDAY JUNE 18, 2011 $550.00 IN PRIZES DONATED BY BEST IN SHOW DOG SUPPLIES Rules The dog entered must be entered in either the bred by Dog Class or bred by Bitch Class in their respective breeds. Best Bred By in breed will be selected from the first place winner in these two classes. All best Bred by Exhibitor in Breed winners will compete for Best Bred By Exhbitior in their respective groups. The Best Bred by Exhibitor from each group will compete for Best Bred by Exhibitor in Show (Saturday following All- Breed Best Puppy in Show) Sunday, June 19. 2011 Trial 4 - AM Mr. Rod Beaudry All Classes Trial 5 - PM Mr. Rod Beaudry All Classes Chapter 1 - Section 11 (b) Where a bitch comes into season after entry of the bitch has been submitted to the Trial Secretary, a veterinarian s certificate, certifying that the bitch was in season within the ten day period preceding the trial, must reach the Trial Secretary on or before the date of the trial. The Trial-giving Club will refund the entry fee. A dog which has earned its CD degree in the USA is not eligible for Novice A class and a dog which has earned its CDX in the USA is not eligible in the Open A class. Such dogs must enter in Novice B or Open B classes respectively. 6.7 Moving Up 6.7.1 A dog that is registered in the records of the CKC or has a PEN, an ERN, or a MCN and has fulfilled the requirements for a title in accordance with these rules, may be moved to the next level of competition. The transfer must be submitted to the trial secretary on the appropriate move-up form by the owner of handler one hour before the opening of the first trial on that day, schedule permitting. 6.7.2 W hen one of more trials are held on the same day in the same venue, the request for moving the dog up must be made a minimum of one hour prior to the scheduled start of the trial for which the dog is being moved up to, schedule permitting. The trial secretary shall amend the judge s book and the marked catalogue, which is to be sent to the CKC with the requests attached to the appropriate entry forms. 3 4

The fee will match the ERN fee. In order to protect the awards/titles earned, the non-member will have a choice either to become a CKC member or to pay the non-member participation fee. Failure to comply within 30 days of notification will cause all awards and titles to be cancelled. These fees apply only to dogs wholly owned by non-ckc members and are not applicable to CKC members. Due to consistently fluctuating currency rates, discounted cheques will not be accepted. Personal cheques will be accepted, however, they are to be payable in Canadian funds. If you send a cheque in US funds, it must be made out for the full amount of the entry and no exchange will be refunded to the exhibitor. Exhibitors must abide by errors made in entering their dogs regardless of how or by whom the entry was made. Changes or cancellation of any entry after closing date is prohibited with the exception of an error in an age specified class, date of birth, or sex and may be amended on the entry form up to one hour before the start of the show. 9. If because of riots, civil disturbance or other acts beyond the control of the management it is impossible to open or complete the show, no refund of entry fee will be made. 10. To avoid noise and confusion there will be no individual dogs called to the ring by loudspeaker. Delays waiting for dogs will not be possible and handlers with several breeds must arrange for alternate handlers if judging times for their breeds conflict. 11. SHOW PRECINCTS area will be 30 feet from the Show Rings. All dogs regardless of age, not entered in the show or trials, must not be brought closer than 30 feet of the rings. 12. We will have someone doing clean-up, but remember they cannot be everywhere at once.
