Breed disqualifications apply. RIBBONS & TROPHIES First--Blue, Second--Red, Third--Yellow, Fourth--White, Fifth--Pink, Best of Breed-- Purple and Gold, Best In Field--Red, White and Blue. STAKES OFFERED: Junior Courser: Open to all eligible hounds. A hound must complete the course with enthusiasm and without interruption. Open: Open to all hounds of an eligible breed that have attained at least one of the following: AKC Junior Courser Title, ASFA Field Champion Title, CKC Field Champion Title, AKC Field Champion Title. Hounds that are disqualified from AKC, ASFA or CKC Field Trials may not be entered. Special: Open to all hounds that are eligible to enter the Open Stake and have earned their AKC Field Championship title. No championship points are awarded from this stake. Open Veteran: Open to any hound which is qualified to enter AKC lure trials. In addition the hound must be at least 7 years of age on the day of the trial, except Greyhounds and Scottish Deerhounds which must be at least 6 years of age and Irish Wolfhounds which must be at least 5 years of age. BEST IN FIELD WILL BE OFFERED. All hounds will run twice, in trios if possible or braces unless excused, dismissed or disqualified. Bitches in season and lame hounds will be excused. Hounds not present at the time of roll call will be scratched after a five-minute (5) grace period. Each entry will be examined at inspection for breed disqualifications. Spayed or neutered hounds, without breed disqualifications, may be entered. Battery powered, continuous loop lure machines will be used. The lure will consist of white plastic strips. Backup equipment will be available. The course will be reversed for the finals, runoffs, Best of Breed and Best In Field. The members of the Greater Columbus Sighthound Coursing Association reserve the right to alter the course plan as required by weather and/or field conditions on the date of the trial. Sterling, turn right (South) onto Rt. 62 towards Washington Courthouse. Turn left on Washington/Waterloo Road. Go approx. 1/2 mile and turn right on Stuckey. Continue on Stuckey (which becomes Hwy. 753) for approx. 9.7 miles. After the City of Good Hope, turn left onto Miami Trace. Go approx. 1.7 miles until it deadends. Turn right on Lyndon Road. Continue on Lyndon Road for approx. 2.2 miles. Turn left on Hwy. 138. The farm is approx. 1 mile down on the left-hand side. From Greenfield: Take Hwy. 28 east. Immediately upon crossing the bridge going out of town take Hwy. 138 to the left. Go about 5 1/2 miles. After Lyndon Road intersection, the farm is the second place on the left. Watch for signs. AGREEMENT I (we) acknowledge that the Rules Applying to Registration and Dog Shows and, if this entry is for a lure coursing trial, the Lure Coursing Trial Regulations have been made available to me (us), and that I am (we are) familiar with their contents. I (we) agree that the club holding this trial has the right to refuse this entry for cause which the club shall deem to be sufficient. In consideration of the acceptance of this entry and of the holding of the trial and of the opportunity to have the hound judged and to win prize money, ribbons, or trophies, I (we) agree to hold this club, its members, directors, governors, officers, agents, superintendents or show secretary and the owner or lessor of the premises and any employees of the aforementioned parties, harmless from any claim for loss or injury which may be alleged to have been caused directly or indirectly to any person or thing by the act of this dog while in or upon the show or trial premises or grounds or near any entrance thereto, and I (we) personally assume all responsibility and liability for any such claim; and I (we) further agree to hold the aforementioned parties harmless for damage or injury to the dog, whether such loss, disappearance, theft, damage or injury, be caused or alleged to be caused by the negligence of the club or any of the parties aforementioned, or by the negligence of any other person, or any other cause or causes. I (we) hereby assume the sole responsibility for and agree to indemnify and save the aforementioned parties harmless from any and all loss and expense (including legal fees) by reason of the liability imposed by law upon any of the aforementioned parties for damage because of bodily injuries, including death at any time resulting therefrom, sustained by any person or persons, including myself (ourselves) or on account of damage to property, arising out of or in consequence of my (our) participation in this trial, howsoever such injuries, death or damage to property may be caused, and whether or not the same may have been caused or may be alleged to have been caused by negligence of the aforementioned parties or any of their employees or agents, or any other persons. INSTRUCTION A dog must be entered in the name of the person who actually owned it at the time entries for a trial closed. If a registered dog has been acquired by a new owner, it must be entered in the name of its new owner in any trial for which entries closed after the date of acquirement, regardless of whether the new owner had received the registration certificate indicating that the dog is recorded in his name. State on the entry form whether transfer application has been mailed to AKC.
