Attraction of Exhibits F (1) 17F The attracting of Exhibits by any method from outside the ring is prohibited. It is the duty of the Judge of the day, Steward or Show Management noticing such attraction to ask it to cease. DOG FOULING Any owner, exhibitor, handler or other person in charge of a dog is requested to remove as soon as possible any fouling caused by their dog at any K.C Registered Show within the licenced venue and within the environs of that event, including car parks, caravan parks and approaches. The Society will arrange for disposal of suitable receptacles to assist compliance with Regulation F8 (A) CLASSIFICATION

102 AV OPEN STAKES 103 AV BRACE Classes 98 to 103 will be judged by MR J Jones (Jothryn) REGULATIONS FOR THE PREPARATION OF DOGS FOR EXHIBITION F (Annex B) 1. These Regulations must be observed when a dog is prepared for exhibition and/or exhibited at any Kennel Club Licensed event. Objections may be referred to the General Committee for disciplinary action under these Show Regulations under Kennel Club Rule A 11. a) A dog found to have been exhibited in breach of these Regulations will automatically be disqualified from exhibition at the show and from any award gained thereat. b) Unless the exhibitor provides a satisfactory explanation for the dog being exhibited in breach of these Regulations then he/she may be subject to further penalties of either a fine or as listed under Rule A 42. 2. a) No substance which alters the natural colour, texture or body of the coat may be present in the dog s coat for any purpose at any time during the Show. b) any other substance (other than water) which may be used in the preparation for exhibition must not be allowed to remain in the coat or on any part of the exhibit at any time of exhibition. 3. No act or operation which alters the natural conformation of a dog or any part thereof may be performed except: (a) Operations certified to the satisfaction of the General Committee. (b) The removal of dew claws of any breed (c) Operations to prevent breeding provided that such operations are notified to the Kennel Club before neutered dogs are shown Nor must anything be done calculated in the opinion of the General Committee to deceive. 4. The General Committee without previous notice may order an examination of any dog or dogs at any Show. Any examination thus ordered will be made by a person having Executive Authority who shall have a written directive from the Kennel Club in their possession. Samples may be taken for further examination and analysis. 5. An individual has the right to lodge an objection to a dog only if he/she is the owner or handler of a dog competing in the same breed or class. An objection may, however, be lodged by an official of the Show or by anyone so deputed by The Kennel Club. It will

be the responsibility of the individual who lodges the Objection or the official (as appropriate) to substantiate the grounds for the Objection made on its behalf. 6. Any objection by an individual related to an infringement of these Regulations must be made in writing to the Show Secretary at his/her office before the close of the Show and the individual must produce evidence of identity at the time of lodging the complaint. RULES AND REGULATIONS 1. OPENING OF SHOW: The Show will open at 9.00 am. 2. ARRIVAL OF DOGS: Dogs will received at any time, but it is the exhibitor s responsibility to ensure that exhibits are available for judging when required. 3. JUDGING COMMENCES: at 10.00 am prompt. 4. REMOVAL OF DOGS: Exhibits may be removed from the Show after all their judging has been completed. The Show will close half an hour after judging has been completed. 5. COOKING STOVES: The use of cooking stoves in the proximity of the tenting and benching areas is forbidden except as authorised by the Show Management. 6. ENTRY FEES: First entry per dog 3.00. 7. All subsequent entries with same dog 1.00 inc. Stakes 1.00 Junior Handling Classes 1.00 Not for Competition - 1.00 per dog Pre-paid Catalogues available 2.50. 3.00 on day. 8. PRIZE MONEY: B.I.S - 20; R.B.I.S - 15; B.P.I.S - 10; R.B.P.I.S - 5 9. REFUSAL OF ENTRIES: The Committee reserves the right to refuse entries. 10. PUPPIES: Puppies under 6 calendar months of age on the day of the Show are not eligible for exhibition. 11. MATING OF BITCHES: The mating of bitches within the precincts of the Show is forbidden. 12. BEST PUPPY IN SHOW: Where a Best Puppy in Show competition is scheduled, the Best Puppy in Show is a puppy which has competed and is unbeaten by any other puppy at the same Show. A puppy is a dog of 6 and not exceeding 12 calendar months of age on the day of the Show. Where the Best of Breed or Best in Show is a puppy it will automatically be Best Puppy in Breed and Best Puppy in Show respectively. Similarly if the Reserve Best of Breed or Reserve Best in Show is a puppy which has only been beaten by an adult dog will also automatically be Best Puppy in Breed and Best Puppy in Show respectively. Consequently the selection of Best Puppy in Breed and Best Puppy in Show must follow the selection of Best of Breed and Best in Show respectively. Best Puppy in Show must be selected from puppies which have been judged and which are unbeaten by any other puppy. WITHDRAWAL FROM COMPETITION: Puppies which become eligible for Best Puppy in Show may be withdrawn from all other competition, other than

Breed Classes and Best Puppy in Breed, prior to the competition for Best Puppy in Show in order to remain unbeaten. A puppy beaten in competition for Best Puppy in Show may subsequently be exhibited in all competition for which it was previously eligible. The dog declared Best Puppy in Show, however, must not compete in any subsequent competition. Puppies may be withdrawn from Any Variety classes when judged before breed classes. PROVISO: For the purposes of this Regulation, dogs beaten in competition for Stud Dog, Brood Bitch, Progeny, Brace and Team or a Special Award confined to one breed will not be considered to be a beaten dog. 13. BEST IN SHOW: The dog declared Best in Show is a dog which has competed and is unbeaten by any other dog exhibited at the same show. Best in Show must be selected from all unbeaten winning dogs. Reserve Best in Show must be selected from the remaining unbeaten winning dogs following the selection for Best in Show. BEST OF BREED: Where a breed is separately classified a Best of Breed must be declared from those exhibits which have received an award. Where separate classes are provided for each sex of a breed a Best of each Sex must be selected from which the Best of Breed must be declared from those exhibits which have received an award. WITHDRAWAL FROM OTHER COMPETITION: Dogs which become eligible for Best in Show may be withdrawn from all other competitions other than Breed Classes and Best of Breed prior to the competition for Best in Show as appropriate to remain unbeaten. A dog beaten in competition for Best in Show may subsequently be exhibited in all competition for which it was previously eligible. The dogs declared Best in Show and Reserve Best in Show, however, must not compete in any subsequent competition. Dogs may be withdrawn from Any Variety classes when judged before breed classes. PROVISO: For the purpose of this Regulation, dogs beaten in competition for Stud Dog, Brood Bitch, Brace and Team or a Special Award confined to a single breed will not be considered to be beaten dogs. 14. ADMISSION TO BEST IN SHOW: Exhibits will not be admitted to Best in Show competition after a period of 10 minutes has elapsed since the announcement that exhibits are required for judging, unless they have been unavoidably delayed by previous judging not being completed on time and then only with the special permission of the Show Management. 15. MODIFICATIONS: No modification will be made to this Schedule except by permission of the General Committee of The Kennel Club, which will be followed by advertisement in The Canine Press wherever possible. 16. PREPARATION FOR EXHIBITION: All exhibitors must be familiar with Kennel Club Regulation F (Annex B) Regulations for Preparation of Dogs for

Exhibition. 17. AUTHORITY TO COMPETE: All dogs resident outside the UK must be issued with a Kennel Club Authority to Compete number before entry to the Show/Event can be made. All overseas entries without an Authority to Compete number will be returned to the Exhibitor/Competitor. 18. DOGS IN VEHICLES ON HOT DAYS: Your dog is vulnerable and at risk during hot weather and the Kennel Club offers the following guidance to help guide you through the do s and dont s travelling to and whilst at K.C events. *When travelling to a show please take a moment to consider whether the route to the show is on a busy holiday route and leave earlier to avoid increased time in traffic jams. *If your vehicle is not air-conditioned, seriously consider whether travelling to the show is a good idea at all. *The vehicle should be as fully ventilated as possible and plenty of stops should be taken, with lots of water available to drink. *Ensure your dog is not sitting in full sunlight. There should be plenty of free flowing air around your dog. *When at the show never leave your dog in the vehicle. *Keep your dog in the shade take your own shade, for example a large umbrella and always have plenty of water available so your dog stays well hydrated. *Avoid your dog taking part in unnecessary exertion, or from standing in exposed sunlight for extended lengths of time. Remember, if you feel hot your dog is likely to feel much hotter and dehydrated and this could lead to dire results. Please look your dog s welfare. WARNING: IF YOUR DOG IS FOUND TO BE AT RISK, FORCIBLE ENTRY TO YOUR VEHICLE MAY BE NECESSARY WITHOUT LIABILITY FOR ANY DAMAGE CAUSED. Anyone whose dog is entered at a Kennel Club Licenced Event should take all reasonable steps to ensure the needs of their dog(s) are met and should not put a dog(s) health and welfare at risk by any action, default, omission or otherwise. Breach of Kennel Club Regulations in this respect may be referred to the General Committee for disciplinary action under Kennel Club Rules and Regulations. Right to refuse entries: Exhibitors/Competitors are reminded that Show Societies have the right under Kennel Club Regulations to refuse any entry. 19. THIS SHOW will be held under Kennel Club Rules & Show Regulations. Every Exhibitor making an entry or entries for the show shall be deemed to have agreed to abide by the Kennel Club Rules & Show Regulations and it is on the understanding only that entries are accepted. 20. THE COMMITTEE can accept no responsibility for products advertised or sold by stand holders at the show and wish to remind Exhibitors that grooming

products on sale may not meet the requirements of the Regulations for the Preparation of Dogs for Exhibition. 21. ANY OWNER, competitor, handler or other person in charge of a dog is required to remove as soon as possible any fouling caused by their dog(s) at any Kennel Club Licenced Show within the licenced venue and within the environs of that event, including car and caravan parks and approaches. Please clean up after your dog(s) and use only the exercise areas provided. 22. REGULATIONS F. F9 EXHIBITION OF DOGS: a) No person shall carry out punitive correction or harsh handling of a dog at any time whilst at the licenced venue including the environs, car parks and caravan parks and approaches. b) The owner, exhibitor, handler or other person in charge of a dog at Kennel Club licenced events must at all times ensure that the dog(s) is/are kept under proper control whilst at the licenced venue, including its environs, car and caravan parks and approaches. 23. PARENTS/GUARDIANS. Please note, well behaved children are welcome but those in charge of children will be held fully responsible for their actions and any damage caused within the environs of the show. 24. CONTROL OF DOGS. Owners, handlers, exhibitors or any other person in charge of a dog at a Kennel Club Licensed event must ensure at all times that the dog is kept under proper control whilst at the Licensed Venue including its environs, car parks and approaches. 25. FIT FOR EXHIBITION. The Veterinary Surgeon or Hon. Secretary is empowered to exclude and dog in his/her opinion is not in a fit state for exhibition, from disease, or for any other reason and if such exclusion takes place, either before or after the dog is Judged, entrance fees will be forfeited. 26. ENTRIES. All entries must be made on or before 10 th November 2018 (Postmark) or 17 th November 2018 on-line. If acknowledgement of entries is required a SAE or postcard must be enclosed. 27. HARSH HANDLING. No person shall carry out punitive correction or harsh handling of a dog at any time within the boundaries of the show. 28. CHANGE OF JUDGE. Should a Judge be unable to fulfil the appointment to Judge, the Committee reserves the right to appoint another Judge. 29. JUDGE DECISION. No Competitor shall impugn the decision of the Judge or Judges. 30. CHANGE OF ARRANGEMENTS. Should circumstances so dictate, the Society in consultation with the Judge, may alter arrangements as necessary. Such changes and circumstances surrounding them must be reported to The Kennel Club. 31. DACHSHUNDS. Dachshunds will not be weighed at this Show. NB. CC WINNERS CANNOT COMPETE AT A LIMITED SHOW

. DEFINITIONS OF CLASSES Wins at Championship shows in breed classes where Challenge Certificates are not on offer shall be counted as wins at Open Shows. In the case of a dog owned in partnership and entered in Members' classes or competing for Members' Specials each partner must at the time of entry be a member of the Society. In estimating the number of awards won, all wins up to and including the seventh day before the date of closing of entries shall be counted when entering for any class i.e. 3 rd November 2018 Wins in Variety classes do not count for entry in Breed classes but when entering in Variety classes, wins in both Breed and Variety classes must be counted. First prize does not include a Special Prize of whatever value. If an exhibitor reports before the judging of a class or classes that a dog has been entered which is ineligible, the exhibitor may choose one of the following options:- (1) Withdrawal The dog may be withdrawn from competition subject to the conditions of Regulations 9(j) and 20. (2) Transfer a) If a dog is ineligible for a class or classes as regards it's colour, sex, weight or height the Show Secretary shall transfer it to the equivalent class or classes for the correct colour, sex, weight or height and, in the event of there being no equivalent class, Minor Puppy and Puppy excepted to the Open class for the correct colour, sex, weight or height. b) For an exhibit entered incorrectly in a Minor Puppy Class, Puppy Class or Junior Class, which is over age but under twelve calendar months of age, eighteen calendar months of age or twenty-four calendar months of age respectively, the Show Secretary shall transfer the exhibit to the Puppy Class, Junior Class or Yearling Class respectively for the correct colour, sex, weight or height and in the event of there being no Puppy, Junior or Yearling Class to the Open class for the correct colour, sex, weight or height. c) For any reason, other than the above, the Show Secretary shall transfer it to the Open class for the correct colour, sex, weight and height. d) If an exhibit arrives late and misses a class, even if it is the only class in which the dog is entered, the dog may not be transferred to any other class. MINOR PUPPY For dogs of six and not exceeding nine calendar months of age on the first day of the Show. PUPPY For dogs of six and not exceeding twelve calendar months of age on the first day of the Show. JUNIOR For dogs of six and not exceeding eighteen calendar months of age on the first day of the Show.

YEARLING For dogs of twelve and not exceeding twenty four calendar months of age on the first day of the Show. POST GRADUATE For dogs which have not won five or more First Prizes at Championship and Open Shows in Post Graduate, Minor Limit, Mid Limit, Limit and Open classes, whether restricted or not. OPEN For all dogs of the breeds for which the class is provided and eligible for entry at the show. VETERAN For dogs of not less than seven years of age on the first day of the show. ANY VARIETY NOT SEPARATELY CLASSIFIED For breeds of dog for which no separate breed classes are scheduled. IMPORTED BREED REGISTER For breeds confined to the Imported Breeds Register and only when an Interim Breed Standard has been published by the Kennel Club. Such breeds may be exhibited in this class only, with the winning dog being eligible for Best in Group / Best Puppy in Group or Best in Show / Best Puppy in Show as relevant. BREEDERS For dogs bred by the exhibitor. BRACE For two exhibits (either sex or mixed) of one breed belonging to the same exhibitor, each exhibit having been entered in some class other than Brace or Team. NOT FOR COMPETITION Societies may at their discretion, accept Not for Competition entries. Societies may accept such entries from breeds of dog not included within the title of the Society and at Shows held over more than one day, such entries may be accepted on any day from any breed
