T R E E S, P L A Y G R O U N D S A N D M O W I N G Quality Tree has completed the removal of approved trees and stumps for July. However, there are still more trees and stumps that need to be removed, and we are working on prioritizing and getting approval for future removals. Please note that the weather, tree diseases, and high winds in March are making the tree upkeep a big challenge. We are doing our best and will continue to keep you posted. Hidden Valley has completed mulching Riverton s playgrounds and removing the old wooden playground. Weather permitting, Hidden Valley is scheduled to return to Riverton every Monday to mow the common ground areas. S T R A Y C A T S If you see a stray cat around your property, it would be greatly appreciated if you follow the Town of Henrietta, Habitat for Cats and Lollipop Farm guidelines. If the cat has a collar or you believe it has an owner, you can take the cat to Lollipop Farm, and they will try to locate the owner or put it up for adoption. If you believe it is a stray cat, you can call Habitat for Cats at 585-234-2894, as they loan out traps. After the cat is trapped, you can bring it to Habitat for Cats. If you are trying to keep a cat out of your yard, you may use a safe repellent spray in the areas that the cat visits. B A R K I N G D O G S Per the Town of Henrietta s website, if your neighbor s dog is constantly barking, please speak with this neighbor, as they may not be aware that their dog is barking when they are not home. If you do not wish to approach your neighbor, please call Animal Control at (585) 359-7009 with the address of the barker. The Town of Henrietta will not use your name/address when contacting your neighbor. RCA will also send a letter to the owner reminding them of the barking ordinance. F I R E W O R K S As we received a report/complaint regarding fireworks being set off during the 4th of July week, please be advised that, per the Henrietta Town Marshall, the setting off of fireworks is illegal and, therefore, not allowed anywhere within RCA. Please also be aware of the potential danger that this could cause you, your neighbors, pets, and all Riverton properties. Therefore, we ask that you please refrain from doing so in the future. Thank you for your understanding.
