This means that to take advantage of this offer your entry must be in the hands of the Trial Secretary no later than 10 p.m. Wednesday, August 29, 2018. Entries arriving later will be required to pay the Regular Entry Fee. ENTRY FEES The Entry Fees may be paid by Cheque, Money Order or Cash. No post dated cheques will be accepted. A post dated cheque is one that is dated after the receipt of the entry. All N.S.F. cheques will be subject to a charge of $20.00. N.S.F. cheques are considered non-payment of entry fee and are punishable by disciplinary action and cancellation of awards. All fees must be paid before the show. Attention USA Exhibitors: Please note that due to constantly fluctuating currency rates, discounted cheques will not be accepted. Personal cheques will be accepted, however, they are to be payable in Canadian Funds. If you send a cheque in US Funds, it must be made out for the full amount of the entry and no exchange will be refunded to the exhibitor. Please do not make cheques Payable In Canadian Funds or At Par, they will NOT be cleared by the banks. To simplify the process, we urge that you purchase bank drafts or money orders payable in Canadian funds. Your understanding and cooperation is appreciated. Thank You! NON-MEMBER PRTICIPATION FEE A non-member participation fee will be charged to a resident of Canada who is a non member of the Canadian Kennel Club. The non member participation fee is paid in any year a title is earned and covers all titles and dogs owned by that individual. In order for the title to be awarded, the non member will have a choice to either become a CKC member or pay the non member participation fee. Failure to comply within 30 days of notification will result in the title being withheld and the dog cannot be moved up to the next level. The fee applies only to dogs wholly owned by non member residents of Canada and is not applicable to Canadian Kennel Club members REFUND INFORMATION Entry Fees will be refunded for bitches that come into season after the closing date. Entry fees will also be refunded for dogs/bitches that pose a threat of communicable diseases on the day of the trial. To obtain either of these refunds a letter from a Veterinarian must be presented to the Trial Secretary prior to the commencement of the trial.
VOLUNTEER ASSISTANCE To make this event a success, volunteering is a must. Please indicate your preferred job on the Entry Form and we will do our best to accommodate your request. ELIGIBILITY In order to be eligible to compete in these Trials, a dog must be registered with the CKC and have a CKC Registration Number, an ERN, PEN, CCN or Misc Certification Number, or be eligible for the same. Dogs may be spayed or neutered and/or debarked. Dogs must be 18 months of age or older. Dogs may not be lame. These Agility Trials will be held indoors at the Park your Paws Dome Amherst NS. The surface is Cushion Turf. The precincts of these trials will be the ring and 10 feet surrounding it. NOTE: MKC accepts entries for dogs that have a CCN (Canine Companion Number) issued by the CKC OFFICIAL AGILITY CLASSES The following CKC Official Classes will be provided Regular Standard ~ Novice, Intermediate, Excellent, Master Excellent Regular JWW ~ Novice, Intermediate, Excellent, Master Excellent Selected Standard ~ Novice, Intermediate, Excellent, Master Excellent Selected JWW ~ Novice, Intermediate, Excellent, Master Excellent Veteran Standard ~ Novice, Intermediate, Excellent, Master Excellent Veteran JWW ~ Novice, Intermediate, Excellent, Master Excellent MOVE UPS There will be an hour between trials each day. Please see the Trial Secretary immediately after the completion of the trial. Once a dog has received three qualifying scores under two different judges in each class, it is eligible to move up to the next class. DAY OF EVENT ENTRIES The MKC will accept Day of Event entries for Trials 2 & 3 SAT &Trials 4 & 5 SUN. These entries must be made at least one hour before the trial for which they are applying. We would like to keep the Trial running smoothly. Please advise the Trial Secretary if you have an absent dog. 2 Exhibitors must abide by any errors made when entering their dog(s), regardless of how or who made the errors. IF FAXING YOUR ENTRY PLEASE WRITE WITH A BLACK PEN. 3 The committee reserves the right to refuse any entry, subject to CKC rules. 4 The Trial Superintendent will be in full charge of these events, which are governed by CKC rules. 5 Any dog not entered in the Agility Trials will NOT be allowed within the precincts of the event. 6 The Trial Committee will use care and diligence for the welfare of the dogs and exhibitors, but will not be responsible for, or assume any liability in the event of an accident or other misfortune to dogs, exhibitors or patrons. The Moncton Kennel Club will NOT be responsible for any equipment left behind. 7 It shall be the duty and obligation of the trial-giving Club to see that a Judge, club official, volunteer, or participant of any event held under these rules is not subject to indignities of any kind. The Agility Trial Committee Chair shall promptly report to the CKC any infringement of this regulation and the Discipline Committee shall have the authority to take such action as it deems fit, on receipt of a report, indicating that this has occurred.
