Tentative Schedule Start Times 8:00-8:30am easuring, Check In, and Day Of Show Entries 8:45am General Briefing 8:55am Judge s Briefing for first class 9:00am First dog on the line Class order will be run as a two ring, one judge trial. Tentative class order is Instinct 1, Novice 1, Senior 1, Open 1, aster 1, CZ81 then aster 2, Open 2, Senior 2, Novice 2, and CZ8 2. Afternoon trial classes will not start until move ups can be processed from the lower class in One. (i.e. Open 1 UST be complete with 15 minutes allowed for move ups before Senior 2 may begin). Judges shall have a break for lunch as available for the trial. Running order Sat: Small to Large Sun: Large to Small ORDER AY BE ALTERED SIGNIFICANTLY TO AVOID CONFLICTS, RING CHANGES, ETC.

Payment and Entry Information: Incomplete forms, nonpayment, and returned checks do not constitute a valid entry. Entries will not be considered valid without a signed Release Agreement Form. There is a $35.00 fee for all returned checks. Entries accepted on a first come/first served basis. A maximum of 10 different dog entries per envelope is allowed. Online entries/payment are taken via www.dogjoytraining.com during the entry time frame. Refunds are ONLY allowed if requested before the January 19, 2018. After the closing date, refunds are ONLY granted with a vet s note stating that the dog was unable to compete (not sound, ill, etc). See Bitches In Season below for more information on that topic. No event fee will be refunded if the event cannot open or be completed by reason of riots, civil disturbances, fire, an act of God, public emergency, act of a public enemy, or any other cause beyond the control of the event committee. Entry fees will not be refunded in the event that a dog is absent, disqualified, sick, excused, or barred from competition by action of the Event Committee. Waitlist A waitlist will be maintained if necessary and will be filled from cancelled entries PRIOR to the trial but AFTER the closing date. Waitlist entries will be considered in the order they arrive. Notice to Participants It is expressly understood that participants alone are responsible for the behavior of their dogs and/or children. Any participant whose dogs and/or children create an unnecessary disturbance or repeatedly engage in unsafe or disruptive behavior may, at the discretion of the event committee, be asked to leave the event site. In such case, no refund of any fees paid will be made. DogJoy Training and its agents, employees, etc., will assume no responsibilities for any loss, damage or injury sustained by participants or spectators, or to any of their dogs or property and further assumes no responsibility for injury to children. It is the responsibility of each competitor to read and understand the current Barn Hunt Association, LLC Rules prior to participating in this event. http://www.barnhunt.com/forms/barnhuntrules.pdf Bitches in season are eligible to compete but will be required to be kept separate from all other dogs and run in panties/britches at the end of their class, regardless of height. Entry fees for bitches that come into season will be refunded until date/time of closing of the trial, if you wish to withdraw. If bringing a bitch in season, please inform the Secretary prior to the trial. You must also make sure the Judge informs all exhibitors at the briefing. Collars and Leashes Per BHA rules, electronic collars/devices are not allowed anywhere on the site this includes electronic bark collars as well as citronella collars. Head halters and Flexi style leashes are also not allowed at BH trials. Prong collars may be used on the site while walking dogs, but are not allowed while the dog is competing. Approved collars include flat snap or buckle collars of solid construction and leather or nylon leads. Limited slip martingale and single piece slip collars/leads are allowed. Harnesses are allowed. Dogs may not be brought to the gate in a prong collar or on a Flexi-lead. Dogs UST run naked, without a collar/harness. Dogs should be brought to the ring with collars/harnesses which can be easily and quickly removed and replaced. All dogs must be on leash at all times except when in the ring. Awards Placement ribbons are awarded for First through Fourth place in Novice through aster classes and in each division. Qualifying ribbons as well as New Title rosettes are available. Additional rosettes will be awarded to

High in Novice, High in Open, High in Senior, and High in asters (fastest qualifying time in those classes) at each trial. Large Champion rosettes and a prize are awarded to RATCH earners as well. Please contact the Show Secretary if you might be earning your RATCH at this trial! Facility Cirrus Sky Farms is a private farm with mainly horses on the property. Please do not interact in any way with the horses nor any other livestock or exotics either with or without your dog. Horses are wormed with Ivermectin so avoid horse stool to avoid any toxicity issues with your dog (DR1 resistance issues). Do not go near the main h o u s e or other buildings not utilized during the event. These areas will be marked off and dog potty areas specified (see picture attached to confirmation email). Parking will be on a solid surface, grassy/sand covered area. Shade is limited but EZ ups are allowed and encouraged. Unless we get lots of rain, the covered arena may be available for parking/crating as well. Water will be provided via hose for dogs as well as kiddie pools to refresh them. Human potty will be a port a potty on the grounds. Overnight camping is allowed in either tents or self- contained RVs. For full RV hookups, please contact Karstens RV Resort (Bryan, TX) as they are located 0.4 miles from the farm. Other RV parks and hotels are in the area, please use Trip Advisor to find one that meets your criteria. The barn is where the senior/master rings will be and is a 35x30 concrete floored solid building that is NOT climate controlled (but has large doors that can open). The instinct course will have its own ring and the Novice/Open courses will have their own ring. These will be outside on grass with the Novice/Open ring being covered. Based on weather, we may alter which classes are in the main building. The main barn can have up to 130 bales and contains A LOT of fluff as well as the possibility of high powered fans to keep the area cool as needed. will run rain or shine but may be postponed/cancelled due to excessive/lasting lightning. Delays, cancellations and class order changes (due to weather and unforeseen circumstances) will be announced via Facebook Page (DogJoy Training) and/or in the trial briefing. Please be aware of these things. Area food options: There are LOADS of food options within 5-15 minutes of the facility. There is a C&Js BBQ and Koppe Bridge burgers at the nearest intersection that is about 5-7 minutes from the trial site. If you go further out, we suggest using Trip Advisor or Yelp as there are so many yummy local options. ove Ups ove ups are accepted at the trial. BEFORE the trial weekend, please email the Secretary at least 48 hours prior to the event.
