VETTING All exhibitors are required to handle their own exhibits at the vetting table. The decision of the Veterinary Officer is final. An exhibitor must produce to the veterinary officer documentary evidence of vaccination for all kitten exhibits owned by the exhibitor; At least one vaccination must be administered by a qualified vet and dated no less than 2 weeks prior to the show date; failure to produce such proof may result in rejection of the exhibit. PEDIGREE & COMPANION EXHIBITS PET MISCELLANEOUS CLASS: for each of Group 1, Group 2, Group 3 & Companion exhibits A Companion exhibit must be classified as: Domestic - a kitten/ cat whose sire & dam are unknown or are both not registered pedigreed kitten/cats. Household - a kitten/cat whose sire & dam but not both is registered, or is a pedigreed kitten/cat which is unable to be registered or is a pedigree cat which has been sold as Pet only. To be eligible for showing a Companion Cat must be desexed. Companion kitten exhibits over the age of 6 months must be desexed Companion exhibits must be vaccinated. For an unregistered companion exhibit, a copy of the exhibit s certificate of sterilization (desexing) signed by a qualified veterinary surgeon must accompany the entry. NOTE: A judge or steward does not have to handle any AGGRESSIVE EXHIBITS. Owners have a duty of care not to bench exhibits with a reported history of fractious behavior. The Show manager and/or Show Committee in consultation with the Show Representative, have the right to require the removal of any such exhibit from the show.

EXHIBITORS PLEASE NOTE: N.S.W. CFA Inc. MEMBERS CAT/KITTEN OF THE YEAR AWARDS: To be eligible for an award a cat/kitten must be in continuous ownership* of a financial member of the NSW Cat Fanciers Association Inc. throughout the year, save that: (i) Should an owner become a member of the Association after the commencement of the calendar year, i.e.: after 1st January, the cats/kitten s owned by the new member will be eligible for the awards but points will accumulate only from that date that the membership application is processed by the Association s office. (ii) If during the year ownership of a cat/kitten is transferred from a financial member to a new owner who is not a member, the cat/kitten s ownership by a financial member will be deemed to be continuous provided a membership application from the new owner is received by the Association s office within 4 weeks of the transfer as recorded by the NSW CFA. *Joint owners must each be financial members of the Association. * SHOW PROCEDURE 1.7 EXHIBITOR MEMBERSHIP STATUS An exhibitor residing in New South Wales must be a financial member of the NSW Cat Fanciers Association, Cats NSW, or ANCATS. New exhibitors will be permitted to show three times as a nonmember provided their exhibits satisfy the requirements of Show Procedure 5.3. An exhibitor not resident in New South Wales must be a current financial member of a recognized Governing Body and the exhibits must satisfy the requirements of Show Procedure 5.4. Registration numbers must accompany all entries. PLEASE NOTE: Exhibitors may select ring 1, 2 or 3 but must clearly indicate on the show entry form which ring/s they are entering. If an exhibitor does not indicate which ring/s they wish to be exempt from judging, then the exhibit will be entered in all rings. There will be no reduction in entry fees if a cat/kitten is entered in only one or two rings Exhibitors showing an entry which has been purchased from one of the officiating judges within the three months preceding the date of the show may enter 2 rings at a discount price of $17.00. Exhibits must be registered with a CCCA or ACF Affiliate or ANCATS. Affiliates are also reminded that all CCCA member bodies only recognize registrations of cats and kittens from the State or Territory in which the owner of the cat or kitten is domiciled. Each exhibit will be entered automatically in the relevant class Amendments to Sex/Colour/titles: Any change to the sex, colour /pattern or title of an exhibit after an entry has been lodged must be submitted in writing to the Show Entry Clerk together with a copy of the amended Certificate of Registration no later than one week prior to the date of the show. INCORRECT ENTRY: The Show Secretary reserves the right to transfer exhibits that are not correctly entered. CANCELLATIONS: To save space and work in erecting unnecessary cages, we ask that all cancellations be phoned to the under mentioned by Friday 21 st September 2018 Mrs. E. Swanston: MOB. 0408189178. RETURNED CHEQUES: Should any cheque be returned to the exhibitor unpaid, a money order, cash or bank cheque will be required immediately to ensure that the entry is processed. The exhibitor will pay any cost incurred by the club owing to returned cheques. ENTRY FEES: Please note that no entry will be accepted unless accompanied by full payment of fees. VACCINATION OF KITTENS At vetting a vaccination certificate signed by a qualified veterinary surgeon must be presented for all kitten exhibits.

Coloured or white cage curtains may be used, no frills or lace permitted Own Cages may be used, - if you are to use your Own Cage for an exhibit PLEASE indicate this and it s size on the entry form Note: Show Procedure 5.22 states Exhibitor own cages must be all metal wire construction fitted with suitable solid barriers on both sides and back such as coreflute or other solid material (not transparent) to prevent direct contact between benched cats. If anyone is available to help with setup on Friday the 21 st Sept, from 1pm, it would be very much appreciated. Please note: If anyone wishes to attend the Temora Agricultural Show, please see the Cat Show Secretary (Elizabeth Swanston) on the day & she will issue you with an entry pass.
