Exhibitors are responsible for complete, accurate, and legible information on their entry forms. Illegible or incomplete entries cannot be entered in the trial. Running order will be determined by a random draw. Handlers with more than one dog in a class will have those dogs separated as much as possible. If a dog and/or handler are dismissed, regardless of the reason, there will be NO refund of entry fees. Entry fees will not be refunded in the event that a dog is absent, disqualified, excused or bar No entry fee will be refunded if the trial cannot open or be completed by reason of riots, civil disturbances, fire, an act of God, public emergency, act of a public enemy, or any other cause beyond the control of the organizing committee. Full refunds will be given for bitches in season or injury to dog or handler before the closing date. After the closing date a 50% refund for bitches in season or injuries will be given, provided that the request is made to the Trial Secretary not later than the move-up date, Monday, April 18 at noon. It is expressly understood that exhibitors alone are responsible for the behavior of their dogs and/or children. Any exhibitor whose dogs and/or children create unnecessary disturbances or repeatedly engage in unsafe or disruptive behavior may, at the discretion of the Trial Committee, be asked to leave the trial site. In such case, no refund of any fees paid will be made. All dogs must be on leash at all times except when in the ring or when in the designated agility warm-up area. Exhibitors are responsible for being at the ring gate when it is their turn to run. Proper footwear must be worn by exhibitors while competing. Exhibitors will not be allowed to compete in bare feet. Any dog whose hair over its eyes interferes with its vision, or whose hair on its ears interferes with the safe performance of the obstacles, may have the hair tied back with rubber bands. Please be courteous and pick up after your dog. A pooper scooper will be available. There is also a designated area for your dogs to relieve themselves. Dogs under six months of age are prohibited at AKC Trials. Exhibitors should follow their veterinarian's recommendations to assure their dogs are free of internal and external parasites, and communicable diseases and have appropriate vaccinations. Rabies vaccine is required in the State of California. Catalogs will be available to participants. Handlers in all classes are permitted to walk the course, without a dog, prior to the start of a class. No Novice obstacle familiarizaton will be offered at this event. Regular Classes Novice Agility and Novice JWW Classes: The Novice Agility Class and the Novice JWW Class are divided into Divisions A and B. Division A is for dogs that have never acquired an AKC Agility title. Additionally, a dog entered in Novice A must be handled by a person that has never put an AKC Agility title on any dog, and the handler must be the Owner, Co-owner, or a member of the Owner s household. Handlers, that co-own a dog and have never put an AKC Agility title on a dog may enter the Novice A Class regardless of the other Coowner s AKC Agility accomplishments. Dogs eligible for Novice A may be entered in the Novice B Class at the discretion of the owner. Division B is for dogs that have acquired the NA or the NAJ title, or for persons who have handled a dog to any AKC Agility title and for dogs being handled by someone other than the Owner, Co-Owner, or household member subject to the restrictions listed above. A dog may continue to be shown in the Novice B Class until they have acquired a qualifying score towards their Open title. Open Agility Class: Open to dogs that have acquired the NA or OA titles but which have not acquired a qualifying score toward their AX. Open JWW Class: Open to dogs that have acquired the NAJ or OAJ titles but which have not acquired a qualifying score toward their AXJ. Excellent A Agility Class: Open to dogs that have acquired the OA or AX titles but which have not acquired a qualifying score toward their MX. Excellent A JWW Class: Open to dogs that have acquired the OAJ or AXJ titles but which have not acquired a qualifying score toward their MXJ. Excellent B Agility Class: Open to dogs that have acquired the AX or MX titles. Excellent B JWW Class: Open to dogs that have acquired the AXJ or MXJ titles. Preferred Classes The owner may choose to enter the Preferred Agility Classes in lieu of the Regular Agility Classes at any set of trials. All dogs entering the Preferred Classes for the first time MUST enter the Novice level in both the Preferred Standard and Preferred JWW Classes regardless of their previous title level in the Regular Classes. The Jump Height in Preferred is 4" lower than in Regular. Novice Classes: The Novice Classes are NOT divided into A and B.
