Notice to Exhibitors Unsigned entries or incomplete entries cannot be accepted. Entries not on Official AKC Entry Forms and photocopies of Entry Forms without Agreement and Rules on the reverse side of the Official AKC Entry Form are NOT ACCEPTABLE. An AKC Recording Fee of $.50 per first entry and an AKC Event Service Fee of $3.00 per entry will be required for each dog entered at any Licensed or Member Club Show, Obedience Trial or Tracking Test. An AKC Recording Fee of $3.00 will be required for each entry in any Licensed or Member Club Rally Trial. All Recording and Event Service Fees are paid to the American Kennel Club. No entry shall be made and no entry shall be accepted which specifies any conditions as to its acceptance. Postdated checks and returned checks do not constitute a valid entry fee. Entry fees will not be refunded in the event of errors or cancellation of entries after the published closing date, nor in the event that a dog is absent, disqualified, excused by Veterinarian or Judge, or barred from competition by action of the Trial Committee. If, because of riots, civil disturbances, fire, act of God, act of a public enemy, strikes, extreme weather conditions (including, but not limited to, extreme heat, snow-storms or hurricanes) or any other acts beyond the control of the management it is impossible to open or to complete the Trial, no refund of entry fee will be made. Refunds for bitches in season will be given less $10.00 for administrative fees. Written notice must be given to the Trial Secretary at least 30 minutes before judging starts. Acknowledgement of entries will be made as soon as possible after the closing date. Should such acknowledgement not be received by an exhibitor within 7 days prior to the Trial, please notify the Trial Secretary. BITCHES IN SEASON are not permitted to compete in Obedience or Rally classes. If a female is withdrawn from competition for coming into season and the Trial Secretary is notified no later than ½ hour prior to the start of the first class, then the club will refund the entry fee. A processing fee of $10.00 per entry will be retained. A signed veterinarian s letter stating the bitch is in season may be requested as documentation with the request or within one week of the trial at the latest to receive a refund. Additional Trial Rules 1. The Club and Management will attempt to exercise every precaution for the safety of all dogs and people. However, neither the Club nor the Management will be responsible for injury or loss. 2. The Club assumes no responsibility for a wrong entry. Please PRINT or TYPE all information on entry form. 3. In case of a tie for any prize, any dog not present for a runoff forfeits the right to the prize. 4. No awards will be mailed or delivered. An exhibitor whose dog is eligible for an award must be present or appoint a representative to accept the award for him/her on the day the award is earned. 5. One complimentary catalog will be provided to each exhibitor entered. 6. There is no admission charge to spectators. 7. This is a SELF CLEANING SHOW. Please clean up after your dogs. 8. Early arrivals should respect sleeping residents by monitoring noise levels, keeping dogs under control, and quieting excessive barking. 9. No alcoholic beverages or smoking of any kind are permitted on the grounds. 10. CLASS TRANSFERS (Move-Up) to the next level class are permitted in accordance with AKC regulations. The request for a Move-up must be made in writing and presented to the Trial Secretary at least 30 minutes prior to the start of the trial. Move-up forms for Obedience and Rally will be available at the Secretary s table. The Trial Secretary will also accept move-ups prior to the event. Obedience & Rally Information Obedience Trial Information: Exhibitors should specify their dog s jump height for classes with jumps. Dogs will NOT be separated by jump heights in obedience classes. Rally Trial Information: The Rally trials are limited to 60 entries each. RAE and RACH classes offered. Rally classes will be judged in Ascending order in Advanced, Excellent and Master classes. Exhibitors MUST specify their dog s jump height in these classes as follows: 4" for dogs under 10" at withers 12" for dogs 15" and under 20" at withers 8" for dogs 10" and under 15" at withers 16" for dogs 20" and over Rally classes will be judged in Ascending order in classes with jumps. Rally Ring size will be 40 x 60. Wait List: The Club will establish a wait list to fill openings created by entries that are withdrawn prior to close of entries. The full entry fee shall be refunded to an entrant whose entry is replaced by a wait-listed entry. Ribbon Prizes Regular & Optional Titling Classes First Place................. The Mischievous Imp CD Memorial Award: Silverplated Water Pitcher is offered by Denise and Tom Panzich to the Highest Scoring Dog from the Toy Group in the Regular Classes. 4. The Dorothy Donoghue Memorial Award: Silverplated Candlesticks is offered by the Friends of Dorothy Donoghue to the Highest Scoring Herding Dog in Regular Classes. SELF-SERVICE SPECIAL AWARD BINDER: The Club will use a Special Award Binder at the trial to determine the winner of the following special awards. IF YOU ARE ELIGIBLE FOR ANY OF THE SPECIAL AWARDS, you must enter your armband number on the tote sheet for each award for which you are eligible. Awards will be based on the information the handlers have entered on the tote sheets only. If you do not complete the tote sheet information, you will not be eligible for any of the Special Awards.
