Peter and Dragon By Stephen
Once there was a fox named Peter, and he lived a normal life with his parents Elizabeth and Henry. Every day he would get water with a pail to help wash food for breakfast, lunch and dinner. In his spare time Peter would collect feathers of all kinds. One day peters mother and father were reading the newspaper and found out about the new zoo. "Peter!" Elizabeth called. "Would you like to go to the new zoo?" "Sure!" he said. "But can I read what the newspaper says about the zoo?" "Of course!" She answered.
The newspaper said: The grand opening of Animal Zoo! Where animals meet new animals, and they show each other their habitats. "The zoo has every habitat you can imagine!" Says reporter Mike Bear. The habitats include habitats from North America, South America, Europe, Asia, Africa, Australia and even Antarctica! Go now for discounts on food, drink and special tours of each continents habitats! "Well I think it sounds amazing!" Peter said. "But why did you only ask me if I wanted to go to the zoo?"
"Well," said Henry, "we wanted to ask you before we asked the rest of the family," "Hello Peter, Elizabeth and Henry," said his uncle Percy, "what are you doing today?" "We are going to the new Animal Zoo," said Henry, "and we thought maybe we should ask the whole family of foxes!" "Well I think a wonderful idea!" Said uncle Percy. "I will help ask everyone!"
After that they went to find more foxes. take long to ask all the foxes if they wanted to go and they all said yes so, that meant that the plan was a success! They planned to go the next day, and when it was the next day, all the foxes got on a bus that said ANIMAL ZOO TRANSPORTATION BUS. "How many buses does Animal Zoo have?" Asked Peter as they got on the bus. "Well I've heard that they have hundreds of them," Said Elizabeth, "probably, because its already famous worldwide!" After that many minutes passed until Peter looked out of his window and said "We're there!" ANIMAL ZOO
After they got out of the bus he looked at the entrance with letters that spelled ANIMAL ZOO. "Do you know how long it took to build the front entrance?" "About a week," answered a voice from his left, "I am Mike Bear your tour guide." Said Mike. "Hey I read about you in the newspaper," said Peter, "nice to meet you I'm Peter!" t something that is not an exciting part of anything except perhaps mazes." Then suddenly Peter realized something. "It's my birthday," he said to his mother and father, "did you plan to go to the zoo on my birthday?"
"No we actually forgot, because of the excitement of going to the zoo!" Said Henry. "Hmm," said Mike. "Well, you are the first animal to have a birthday at the zoo, so we should be able to set up a special birthday lunch if you would like that." "Of course I Would like that!" Said Peter. "Well then its time to take a look at the zoo!" Said Mike. And at the zoo they had a wonderful time, and peter had a wonderful birthday, they met many animals, and saw many habitats until it was time for lunch.
At their HUGE table there was party decorations, and in the middle was a large birthday cake decorated, and frosted just the way he liked it, (because uncle Percy, and some other relatives had done that part) and they had everyone's favorite food for lunch. Then they sang "Happy Birthday", and when it was time for the birthday cake, peter felt like he barely had enough room for the cake, but the cake was delicious, and everyone had two pieces of cake.
d do normal things until it was time to go to the zoo again. But the zoo was interesting, and there was a family trip approaching fast, and it was the kind of trip that lasted for a very, very long time. It was only a month before the trip that his mother, and le did.
It seemed like those who knew were the oldest foxes: Peters great Grandfathers, Grandmothers, Aunts and Uncles. When it was a week before the trip, everyone started packing anything they might need during the trip such as flashlights, food, fishing poles, fancy plates and lots of other things, because they always said "Anything can happen."
still because the adults needed to supervise the younger kids. He was hungry when he got to the airport so, he decided to get some food as not to waste the spare food. He got a turkey sandwich, and Chinese food. (because his parents told him to get different kinds of foods and compare them.)
While Peter was walking to get to the gate the plane was at, he took a look at his ticket and accidentally dropped it. When he And then he got on the wrong plane. But by the time he realized he was on the wrong plane it was already too late.
When they landed Peter was glad, because he needed to find his family. First he found things he might need like his emergency family finder which found his family, his tent and a wireless ticket printer that found the flight you wanted and printed a ticket if you paid for the flight (but you may not ever see one as they were only in animal airports, and only major airports sold them), then peter started to make a plan: find his family, find out when the next flight to that place was and sleep when necessary. Family Finder
When he found out where his family was he was surprised, his family was going around the world. On a boat or plane or car he know about his disappearance (that happened a lot on trips like this). But he needed food and water, so he used some money to buy some food and water. While he was finding where to set up his tent he heard a strange noise.
He saw a light up ahead in the forest, then he heard the same sound again but he couldn't figure out what it sounded like. He felt scared but he walked towards the light in the forest, and when he found what it was he couldn't believe his eyes. There in front of him was a bizarre sight: a dragon that looked the perfect size for him! The dragon had a light purple tail, light green wings, a turquoise head, magenta and gray feet and a strange red and yellow light coming from where it's heart would be. "Hello," he said. "Are you really a dragon?" "Yes," said the dragon. "I am, some of my family sensed a family split up in very mysterious ways, you must be part of that family." "Wait." said Peter. He checked his family finder, but the screen went static. That meant everyone in his family were in different areas or far away from each other.
ooked at a feather on the ground, and said "it seems like a dragon cannot touch this feather, I can just feel it," the dragon looked at Peter. "Go on pick it up." So Peter picked it up so he could add it to his collection of feathers.
But when he picked it up it was warm, but got colder as he came closer to the dragon. "That must be the magic that keeps it from not touching the dragon." Peter thought. Then he said "wait for a few minutes." To the dragon, and he crept out of the trees. Almost immediately after that a stranger pig came up to him, and said "would you like to have a place to sleep?" Peter suddenly felt sleepy and felt himself say "yes." Because he was sleepy.
When Peter woke up in a bed he jumped out of it, and headed downstairs. He was going to find the stranger pig, and tell her he needed to go. Then the stranger came down and said "Do you want any breakfast dear?" "No, thanks I have things to do." Said Peter. "Okay." The stranger pig said. So peter left and started heading to the forest.
After he gathered his things he had left at the campsite, he headed to check on the dragon. But when he got to the place the dragon had been the last night, the dragon was gone! Peter called for the dragon but couldn't call very loud, because that would attract unwanted attention. He kept looking but it soon became clear that the dragon was gone. "I wish could find where the dragon is." Said Peter miserably, and suddenly the feather rose up and grew larger and larger and LARGER!
It kept growing until it was large enough for Peter to sit on. Peter jumped on without knowing what he was doing but after he jumped on it rose up to the clouds, and peter took a closer look. The feather was soft, and completely white except for a bright red arrow on to that said THIS WAY so he leaned slightly in the direction the arrow pointed, and said "I wonder how this works?" Immediately the letters on the arrow changed to say YOU CAN ONLY USE ME ONCE A MONTH TO GET TRANSPORTED SOMEWHERE.
After that peter rode in silence until they the arrow started to point down. Peter was very surprised to see ANIMAL ZOO (because currently that was the only location), and even more surprised to see the dragon in the secret section of the zoo but all he knew was that he had seen the entrance to the secret section during the tour on his birthday. When they landed the feather shrunk into a normal one, and peter ran over to the dragon and asked "how did you get here?" A N I M A L Z O O SECRET
"A pig put me here." Said the dragon. "What did she look like?" Asked Peter. like she was rich."said the dragon. Peter vaguely remembered her looking like that on the night he met the dragon. "Well can you fly me home?" Asked Peter. "Of course!" Answered the dragon and the dragon flew him home.
When they got there he saw many other dragons all carrying many foxes. At the sight of them the dragon cried out "I've completed my firstrescue!" "So you waited for me at the zoo!" Said Peter. "Well I guess bye for now!" "Oh actually we've made plans to stay in the huge forest over there!" Said the dragon. "Well with me!" Said Peter cheerfully. "Well see you tomorrow!" And the dragons ended up staying with them, and they all lived happily ever after.
Many Years Later...
While Peter, and family were at the Animal Zoo eating lunch, Peter saw a pig that looked just like the stranger, then she looked at Peter, and said "how did you get here?" Looking furious. "I found the dragon." Said Peter. "Hey you're the pig that tried to keep Peter away from the dragon!" Said uncle Percy. "I separated all of you, how could you get back together?" Said the pig looking extremely furious. "Well we had the help of the dragons." Said Peter. All of Peters family had stood up, and the pig, looking very mad walked straight out of animal zoo. "Well," Peter said "It's almost night so we should go home." Everyone agreed, and they never saw the pig again, but they all lived happily ever after.
