REFUNDS 1. No refunds will be made after the closing date of April 27, 2016, or in the event that a dog is absent, disqualified, excused by the judge or the club, or barred from competition by the action of the Organizing Committee except that of a bitch that comes in season after being entered. A refund less $4 per entry to cover expenses will only be issued if the Trial Secretary receives a Veterinarian s certificate. 2. No entry fees will be refunded if the event cannot open or be completed by reason of riots, civil disturbances, fire, act of God, public emergency, act of public enemy, strike or any other cause beyond the control of the organizers. Turn LEFT onto US-27 and go 2.3 miles. Follow From US-27 below.* From Nashville: Take I-40 East towards Knoxville. Go about 130 miles and take the US-27 exit (Exit #347). Keep LEFT at the fork in the exit ramp. Turn LEFT onto US-27 and go 2.1 miles. Follow From US-27 below.* From Chattanooga: Take I-75 North towards Knoxville. Go about 85 miles and take the I-40 West exit (LEFT fork). Go about 20 miles and take the US-27 exit (Exit #347). Turn LEFT onto US-27 and go 2.3 miles. Follow From US-27 below.* *From US-27: To TN-382 and Roane State Community College (RSCC). Turn LEFT onto 382 towards RSCC. Go 1.0 miles, passing RSCC on the right, and immediately turn RIGHT towards the Expo Center parking areas. Turn LEFT into the gravel RV parking area and proceed carefully to the outdoor covered arena. You may park around the arena, in the grass along the gravel lot or in the parking lot behind the barn. Do not block driveways on the arena level entrances! There is a horse show in the indoor arena this weekend. USE CAUTION! Camper hookups are on the east side of the building. When you turn RIGHT off TN-382, make an immediate LEFT. Follow signs for camper hookups. NOTICE TO COMPETITORS This event is sanctioned by the Australian Shepherd Club of America, hereinafter referred to as ASCA. This trial will be held under the current rules and regulations of the Australian Shepherd Club of America. For a complete listing of the rules, visit www.asca.org. TNASC, its board of directors, ASCA, and the property owner assume no responsibility for any loss, damage, or injury sustained by the exhibitors, owners or to any of their dogs, personal property, or children. Through submission of entry, the competitor acknowledges that they are knowledgeable of ASCA rules and regulations, including, but not limited to the following: 1. All ASCA Agility, Rally and Obedience trials shall be open to purebred and mixed breed dogs. 2. All healthy, trained dogs over eighteen (18) months of age are eligible to compete in ASCA Agility Trials, six (6) months of age for Obedience and Rally. Bitches in heat, lame, or blind dogs are ineligible for entry. 3. Any dog which demonstrates aggression towards any person or any dog, whether inside the ring or outside the ring, must be excused from the Agility trial. Any dog which the judge feels is not in control will be excused from the Agility trial. 4. Any owner, handler, or spectator exhibiting poor sportsmanship or abuse towards a dog or person will be required to leave the show site for the duration of the trial, will be reported to ASCA and may be banned from further TNASC events. 5. No leads, collars, food, toys, etc will be allowed on the agility course. 6. No pinch or prong collars are allowed on the trial grounds. 7. All dogs must be on lead or securely crated when not in the ring or in the agility warm-up area. 8. The organizing committee of this event reserves the right to refuse any entry based on suitable causes only. Anyone who is not in good standing with TNASC or ASCA will not be allowed entry. 9. Dog sales or puppies under eight weeks are not permitted on the trial grounds. RELEASE: 1. Handlers through entry at this event accept full responsibility for themselves, their guests and the actions of their dogs. 2. All competitors through entry at this event waive any and all rights relative to video broadcast of this event. Competitors shall have the right to videotape portions of this event for their personal use only but may not videotape any portion of this event for commercial or other purposes. All video, broadcast and telecast rights for this event are the exclusive property of ASCA. 3. Portions of this event may be taped for television. Through entry at this event, ALL COMPETITORS AND HANDLERS HEREBY GRANT TO ASCA and its representatives, agents and assigns, all rights and permission to use or appropriate his/her and their dog s name, biography, likeness, photograph, voice, performing persona, or other indicia of identity for broadcast, telecast, cable cast, transmission or distribution in any format or media known. All competitors and handlers hereby release ASCA and its representatives, agents and assigns from any claims or cause of action for invasion of rights of privacy, right of publicity, right of personality, or any similar right. BEHAVIOR: 1. Competitors are responsible for the behavior of their dogs and children. Any competitor whose dogs or children create unnecessary disturbances or repeatedly engage in unsafe or disruptive behavior may be asked to leave the show site. No refund will be made. 2. Handlers caught not picking up after their dog may be asked to leave the show site and no refund will be made. 3
ASCA Service Membership and Tracking Number Application Beginning 1/1/2003 for non-asca registered dogs In order to have ASCA qualifying legs tracked and to receive ASCA titling certificates, each non-asca registered dog will be required to have an ASCA Tracking Number. This is a one-time fee of $10/dog. At the time of applying for the tracking number, the individual owner must also be an ASCA member (minimum membership type of Service is required). ASCA membership does not need to be maintained in subsequent years. It will be the responsibility of the owner to identify to ASCA the show(s) and leg(s) earned when applying for a Tracking Number for those ASCA qualifying legs earned from 1/1/2003 until submission of application.
