Judging Start Times The grounds will open at 7:00 am each day with breakfast available to purchase in the Club House. Master Earthdog entries must check in by 8:30 am each day for the a.m. event and judging will begin at approximately 9:00 am Master Earthdog entries must check in by 12:00 pm each day for the p.m. event and judging will begin at approximately 12:30 pm Senior Earthdog will begin judging approximately ½ hour after the conclusion of Master. Intro to Quarry will begin approximately ½ hour after the conclusion of Master. Junior Earthdog will begin approximately ½ hour after the conclusion of Senior. Test Secretary or Judges may modify the running order to expedite running of the test. Tests Offered Introduction to Quarry (non-regular class, with no credit toward titles), Junior Earthdog, Senior Earthdog & Master Earthdog All classes are open to all eligible dogs (see Chapter 1, Section 6). Eligible Breeds Dachshunds, Miniature Pinschers and the following terrier breeds: Australian, Bedlington, Border, Cairn, Cesky, Dandie Dinmont, Glen of Imaal, Jagdterrier, Lakeland, Manchester, Miniature Bull, Miniature Schnauzer, Norfolk, Norwich, Parson Russell, Rat, Russell, Scottish, Sealyham, Silky, Skye, Smooth Fox, Welsh, West Highland White, Wire Fox, and Yorkshire. Dogs 6 months of age or older that have been either individually registered with the AKC, recorded with the Foundation Stock Service (FSS), registered with a foreign or domestic registry organization whose pedigrees are acceptable for AKC registration, or dogs of an eligible breed that have been granted a Purebred Alternative Listing (PAL/ILP). A dog with and AKC Limited Registration shall be eligible to participate in Earthdog tests, as are spayed and neutered dogs. Dogs may enter more than one regular class at an Earthdog test provided the dog is eligible for the class as defined in Chapter 3. Bitches in season shall not be eligible to enter the test. All entries must be accompanied by entry fees to be valid. No entries will be taken over the phone or electronically. Please help us keep these good grounds. Owners or handlers entering dogs in a test do so at their own risk and agree to assume responsibility for any damage caused by them or their dogs. They also agree to abide by all the Rules and Regulations of the American Kennel Club. Barking dogs outside the test area are to be removed from the area but should not be disciplined for barking. It is expressly understood that exhibitors alone are responsible for the behavior of their dogs and/or children. Any exhibitor whose dogs and/or children create unnecessary disturbance or repeatedly engage in unsafe or disruptive behavior may, at the discretion of the Test Committee, be asked to leave the test site. In such cases, no refund of any fees will be made. All dogs present must be on lead or confined to their crates except when being judged. Dogs are not permitted to wear collars during judging with the exception of the Master walk up. The den areas for IQ, JE, SE, and ME will be fenced for this test. Unsportsmanlike conduct, including rough handling or misconduct of any kind, will result in excusal from the test. Entry fees will not be refunded in the event that a dog is absent, disqualified, excused or barred from the test by action of the Test Committee. Post Dated or Returned Checks do not constitute a valid entry fee. A $25.00 service fee will be added for all returned checks. Owners are responsible for errors in making out entry forms, whoever makes such errors. No entry fee will be refunded in the event of such errors, or cancellations of entries after the published closing date.
