Conditions of Participation Please read carefully 1. Entries are to be penned no later than 9.00am for compulsory vet checks before judging starts at 9.30am. 2. Upon signing in please collect your allocated pen numbers. 3. Nominations close May 14 th 2016, and only under exceptional circumstances will any changes to an entry be allowed, at the Cairns Regional Poultry Club committees discretion. 4. Proof of FACQ registration must be provided at time of application. Failure to do so will result in being prohibited to enter the show. 5. Entry fee is $1.50 per bird except for Cairns Regional Poultry Club members who get their first 10 entries free and each bird thereafter is $1.00. 6. Cairns Regional Poultry Club will issue invoices for payment once Show Entry Forms have been received. Payments can be made by cheque, money order or direct deposit. Please do not send cash through the post. Payment must be recieved no later than close of business on the 21 st of May 2016. 7. Cairns Regional Poultry Club has the right to refuse an application without explanation. 8. No person other than the stewards are to be in conversation with judges while judging is in progress. Any one caught doing so, or behaving in an inappropriate manner will be disqualified and unable to attend future events hosted by the Cairns Regional Poultry Club. 9. All entries will be judged to Australian Poultry Standards and the judges decision is final. 10.If a bird is found to be interfered with, dyed, or had their age falsified, the competitor will face disqualification from the Show and any furture Cairns Regional Poultry Club events. 11. Entries per class is a maximum of three of any one colour. Should there be 6 or more of AOV or AOC a class will be created. 12. AOV entries need to clearly indicate breed, and colour on entry form. 13. All birds are to be penned in a clean, disease and parasite free state. They are all subject to a vet check and any birds found to be below standard will be removed and quarantined immediately. Birds needing immediate attention will be treated by our in show vet and any costs incurred will be that of the owner of the bird not the Cairns Regional Poultry Club. 14. Once judging commences, birds are not to be removed from their pens until directed to do so by the Chief Steward at the end of the Show. 15. Birds entered into the show are the only birds permitted into the pavilion. 16. Junior entrants must be 16 years of age and under and physically pen their birds themselves. 17. The upmost care will be given to entries however Cairns Regional Poultry Club will not accept any liability for stolen, lost, injured or damaged birds for the duration of the show. 18. Eggs will be disposed of after the show unless otherwise requested. 19. Exhibitors wanting to sell birds at the Show will be charged a 10% commission fee payed to Cairns Regional Poultry Club at the time of sale.
