Shady Grove Kennel Hunting Preserve and Sporting Clays Hunting Preserve ~ Shady Grove is a public facility designed by hunters for hunters. Hunt pheasant or chukkar on over 900 acres. Up to eight hunting parties simultaneously during the preserve season (September 1st ~ April 30). Water fowl hunts are conducted on wild birds. Sporting Clays ~ 22 stands of Sporting Clays, Five Stand, NSCA Affiliated Tournaments, Corporate Events, Learn-to-Shoot Programs, Leagues, Registered Targets Retriever Training ~ With more than 40 years of experience, Neil Selby is professional a gun dog trainer who has trained numerous AKC pointer and retriever champions. Training is available for gun dogs, forced retrieving obedience and hunt test/field trial conditioning. Training by the month or hourly lessons. Pointer Training ~ In addition to Neil, Sharon Townley is available. She has been training with Neil for more than 11 years, and also guides on the preserve.
