About the Event: The Hops for Hounds Dog Walk & Fun Run is the newest walk to celebrate the hounds that have our hearts as a family. This 2 mile dog walk and one mile fun run is designed for all ages. The walk starts at Grayton Beer Brewery, takes a quick break at Idyll Hounds Brewery, and loops right back to Grayton Beer Brewery for the after party. Registered walkers will receive an official walk t-shirt, wag bag, one complimentary Blueberry Blonde draft beer, and most importantly, a great family friendly morning with your hound. *Participant must be registered before February 9, 2018 to be guaranteed official walk t-shirt. About Dog-Harmony: Dog-Harmony, Inc. is a volunteer-run non-profit organization, made up of passionate and determined problem-solving dog lovers who want to make a difference. Our goal is to build healthy relationships between humans and dogs to improve both of their lives and reduce the number of dogs that are placed in animal shelters each year. Our volunteers work together to accomplish the mission of creating lifelong relationships by providing personalized and ongoing education, support, and training for people and dogs. The key element of these relationships is education of humans and dogs, no matter what age. What makes Dog-Harmony different is the focus on training and support before, during, and after one adopts a dog. This helps ensure that the people and dogs in the family have the tools they need to build a successful life together. Adopting a dog is not the end of the relationship it is just the beginning! Dog-Harmony accomplishes its goals through key service programs offered to the community at little to no cost. These programs include but are not limited to: - Humane Education - Doggy ID- Through Monthly Microchipping Clinics - Stop Doggy Homelessness Program - Spay and Neuter Scholarship Program - Various Adoption and Training Service Prong collars are PROHIBITED at this event and ALL Dog-Harmony events.
