Membership We would like to extend our invitation for you and your family to join our club! The purpose of the Panhandle Poultry Club is to encourage and promote interest in purebred poultry through selective breeding, exhibition, and through the sharing of knowledge; to promote and breed towards the standards of the American Poultry Association and the American Bantam Association. We are a family oriented club and promote good sportsmanship for both young and old. We encourage and educate the Junior Poultry person as well as the Adult, on the value of purebred poultry; that they will be able to decide what types of fowl he/she wishes to raise, how to select quality birds, how to house, feed, and provide general care and practice healthy bio-security for all poultry. With these goals, the Panhandle Poultry Club members will learn about showing poultry in Junior and Open divisions and the steps necessary to become an exhibitor. Dear Fellow Exhibitors: The Panhandle Poultry Club warmly welcomes you to beautiful Pensacola, Florida for our 2015 Winter Poultry Show! With two APA and ABA sanctioned shows, a YEPA sanctioned Junior show with Showmanship, Serama Tabletop Show, raffles, vendors, swap, good food, and more, you are certain to have a good time and make new friends. We require that your birds be NPIP certified and tested prior to the show. James Blum from the Florida State Department of Agriculture will be on-site to test your poultry. There is no cost for this test. We will also have camper water/power hookup available for $20/night. Let us know if you need this! We will have a few fundraisers going on to benefit the club and to help put on our Spring 2016 show! Please help us make this 2 nd show a possibility again. If you are a vendor, or have birds to sell, we will have 10 x10 spaces again for rent at $10 a space. Just let us know how many you will need.
